Don't let the outside facade fool you because this clock store is way more high-end than you'd think it is. When we walked in, we were immediately surprised at how much more it was like a jewelry store than it was an antique clock store. I purchased a watch in Japan and needed to get it resized. I brought it in to them and for just $20 and about 10 minutes, they got it to fit me nicely. The workers here are super friendly and make you feel like you're apart of their family. While they were fixing my watch, I got to look around at their watch selection which I was surprised again at how large their selection was! Fantastic experience at this business The Clock Man! I Came in needing batteries replaced on four watches and the staff was friendly, professional, and got everything done at super speed. I was going to drop them off and leave but the guys recommend I wait and said they will knock all of them out in 10-15 mins. While I was waiting I had a look around the shop itself and I was genuinely impressed -- beautiful selection of timepieces on display and clearly run by people who know and love watches. I forgot to note that it is a family run business so you are supporting a very nice gentleman who is showing his sons the ropes on the family business. I bought a nice little clock online. The clock wasn't running and the ad never stated it ran but the clock was inexpensive and I took my chances. I was able to remove the old battery but needed help with the replacement. I was going to be in Fullerton running another errand so I looked up watch repair on Yelp. I chose the Clock Man because it had been in business for years, and had good ratings. I like supporting local businesses whenever possible. I am glad I found them. As is the case with online purchases, you never know what you are getting. Their expert found corrosion from a previous battery and the mechanism was no good but he had another mechanism that worked perfectly with a little adjusting. All for 30 dollars. Add in the cost of changing the battery and I got a newly restored vintage enameled clock at a bargain price. The entire process took maybe half an hour. Even for the simplest issues, I am now met with skepticism and a vague promise to "try their best." The kicker? If they manage to fix the problem, they make it clear that it will come with a hefty price tag. The new approach and pricing model feel like a blatant cash grab, leaving loyal customers like myself feeling undervalued and exploited. Just noticed that one of the notches of the back casing was "dented" while removal. Took close - up pictures of every angle of the watch before taking it in and just noticed the difference. Sivas used a regular hand held steel torque wrench type of tool, and had looked back during the opening process as if he was concerned-- which I know is a rugged tool not meant for delicate pieces. Also noticed a dust spec on my dial next to the "O" that has been greatly bothering me. Quite upset with the experience in the long run. Would NOT recommend you take your prized sentimental pieces here. read more

What a big disappointment! We regret bringing our 2 cuckoo clocks here for repair. We've had to bring one back, and it still does not work. We would have to bring it back again to be repaired for a third time, so we decided to have it looked at by another clock repair man, a real professional. Here's what he said: "When I first started working on it the music didn't play at all. The clock was pretty dirty and several parts that were supposed to move were simply stuck! Now the music plays, the cuckoo bellows work and gongs too. The person that worked on the clock didn't clean it. He hosed it off with some kind of solvent and then oiled it. That didn't get the dirt out. I dismantled it and cleaned it. I can tell you that the music box has a lot of wear. It doesn't play as smoothly as I would like. 4 of its 6 bushings are pretty worn and I can't replace those bushings. I did tighten and polished the bushings out and they're better but at some point the music box's governor will have to be replaced. They're not expensive...like $25 plus $10 for shipping. But for now it works and sounds good...although it's not very loud which could be a good thing. Oh...and the total for the work is $60. It's clean and good for 7 to 10 years...no more than 10 years." He'll even replaced the governor when it fails for no charge! Too bad we didn't find this awesome clock repair man before we got bamboozled by The Clockman! Maybe they should stick the watch repairs only. We will bring our other cuckoo clock to be repaired with this other pro. read more

First timer here! Parkings a little bit tricky due to the store being located on a main street. You can possibly park on the side street (infront only store) or drive behind it and park somewhere on the side of the building. Needed a battery replacement for a Michael Kors watch and the gentleman Siva helped me. He explained to me what my watch type was and changed the battery in less than 10mins. He also adjusted a link for me since he noticed it was uneven. He dated the battery inside so if the battery stops working in less than a year he'd swap it out for free as long as there's no water damage. Final charge was $20. Overall very easy and nice service. He was very clear upfront about the procedure and any risks associated with it. He walked me through the procedure and really helped me to understand the steps he took.
