I wanted a quick coffee and noticed this place near our hotel. Glad I stopped. It had a comfortable ambience inside which I took a mental note of for another time since I needed to take my coffee to-go that day. I ordered El Tigre Mocha (with oatmilk) made from espresso, dark chocolate, and fresh orange extract. I must say it was as good as it sounds. Just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. There are several interesting things on the menu: Bischocito Latte and Raspberry Hibiscus herbal tea, for example. I like that the barista took the time to create a heart design on top of my coffee. And I also like that the location is right nextdoor to a bakery.

Great place for matcha lovers. I loved their Ube Matcha. Ambiance is relaxing. Service was quick and nice. The cafe has many seating inside and outside, but can get crowded when busy.

We tried five different coffee shops on our recent stay in Taos. This visit was on our way out and did not disappoint! Super clean and welcoming inside, serving up great drinks. I personally love a strong and bold espresso drink. I ordered a standard 12 oz drink that was good from their specialty menu. I wanted an extra shot but was told I had to order two, as they are pulled in pairs. I should have gone for it so I could really taste the flavor of their espresso beans.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little coffee shop on my road trip. It's a cute spot with unique lattes you won't find anywhere else, a nice relaxing space to sit and chill for a while, and friendly baristas. If you're in the Taos area, it's a must.

What an adorable place! I overheard the guy behind the counter patiently and sweetly take his time explaining cold brew to an inquiring patron, what service! It made me order the cold brew and it did not disappoint. Next time we're hiking/backpacking in the area, we will visit again!

First of all, I love the clever name of this establishment. These people know how to make coffee and their prices are reasonable. The fellow who took our order was friendly and accommodating although the barista was a little snappy when we asked for nondairy milk. I wish these places would keep out the nondairy milk alongside the half and half. Prepare for the fact that you might not get a seat inside the coffee shop. It's small and pokey and single customers take up tables meant for four people.

I love their coffee menu. Nothing compared to Starbucks. Way better. They have small selection of pastries options but they look high quality scones and empanadas

(Coming from someone who's reviewed 57 coffee shops in 5+ states) We're calling it a Top 5 best cup of coffee. Last morning in town, and we wanted to try another spot, grateful (as always) to the yelp reviews that brought us here. Ordered the usual: decaf flat white with heavy cream. Appreciated that the staff spent a moment asking clarifying questions to ensure we were speaking the same coffee language. Waiting for our drinks, we peruse the shop- plenty to keep your eye busy and LOTS of personality to let you know THIS is the kind of place you want to your hard earned dollars to support. First sips of our drinks and it's robust and coffee forward. We LOVE when the coffee is strong enough to stand up to the heavy cream. I could tell within to sips that this would be the place I'll drop into, grab a flat white, and then head over to the library for a good quiet morning. The shop is just on the edge of the downtown plaza, minimal parking but more than enough space to grab your Joe and go. 5 stars, all the way!

Service was solid (the lady upfront was welcoming with a nice smile) and that might be of the most attractive aspect of this shop than what they offer such as coffees and food stuff. I had a doppio over ice. It somehow lacked the "kick" I wanted to taste in it (any/all espresso shots should have; overall though it wasn't bad.) I noticed some savory pastries at the counter; I got enticed by it but I refrained from getting it as I was on my way to a chocolatier nearby. After walking away from it (a few hundred yards) I realized that I had left my sunglasses in the shop. I immediately went back to get them where the same lady knew why I was back there. She kindly placed them in a secure place for me in the meantime from she pulled them out of. Small and yet a little kind gesture I noticed about her and the shop which I wanted to make a note. So in short, my experience with this place was good.

We were so excited to check this place out as we had heard many great things, and that was the first spot of the day kicking off our anniversary. The person at the counter taking orders was extremely rude and unprofessional when it was our turn. She was condescending on every question we asked since it was our first time in. We were curious what the signature latte was since it doesn't tell you on the menu "It's..rosemary?" and then rings up said latte and huffs and puffs like a child when we said we were gonna do two iced lattes "Ugh okay lemme take the signature latte off the order". We go to order breakfast sandwiches but there's a sign that says "No bagels" no big deal, we asked her what do they come on instead "Sourdough....." with the rudest tone and look on their face. My partner asked if she can get a side of tomato jam for her sandwich to a response of "Ya I don't know probably"..at this point I was ready to leave as I am in the industry myself and have been so for 20 years and I'm not gonna let anyone treat me like that. We stuck around though as it was our anniversary and this place was recommended by many others when we told them we were going to Taos for our celebration. Coffee took 20 minutes to make two iced lattes, food took another 30ish and they weren't that busy either. We waited so long that someone who worked there eventually came up and asked if we needed help with anything- we stated we were waiting on our order and they said it was gonna be another 10 minutes. All that waiting around for burnt sourdough, half melted cheese, and bland sausage. Kitchen seemed frazzled although it wasn't busy, felt like they threw our food together to start cleaning the kitchen to close, although we weren't there near closing time. The tab was also somehow $52 for two iced coffees and two mediocre breakfast sandwiches..talk about a ripoff. I haven't even had breakfast that expensive in Aspen or Jackson Hole. One star because the coffee was really good, and the bathroom was cool but that's about it. Everything else about the experience there was lackluster, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who visits Taos. This experience was so awful that I had to send in an email in hopes they respond/take my feedback and improve on things, but I will not go back next time I'm in town personally to see if these issues have changed. Mainly due to the woman at the counter but also the food was very underwhelming especially for the steep price.

Adorable (well, everything is adorable in Taos; it's the southwestern charm for sure!) but it's more than what its appearance says it all. You have to try their products and see for yourself. What I got me were a few bon bons and a chocolate torte (the whiskey kind). -Miso Caramel: is shaped like a mushroom. Even if you might not be a fan of miso based (everything), you should try these bon bons anyway as they don't taste like miso at all. I was quite shocked with this myself (well, I like miso soup; miso taste doesn't bother me at all. Even so, Miso chocolate candy was something I didn't know what to expect out of. That is why I am saying that I was surprised by it.) -New Mexico , Spicy: was also surprising. The kick in these tiny pieces was quite mighty and yet it was tolerable. -Whisky Torte: All sorts of organic ingredients are used to make these delightful tortes. Tortes tend to be a lot heavier than traditional cakes as their texture is that of fudge. And yet, that shouldn't be a reason for you to steer clear from it as this chocolatier perfected the torte in a way that it will not be too rich or heavy for your taste or stomach. At least that is what I thought when I tasted it. Another must-try item on their menu offerings. For its interior, it's mostly and simply grey on walls but this emits the "chicness" that doesn't overshadow the theme of its business. You should also pay attention to the ceilings and the floors. A careful attention to entertain the guests' eyes is seen throughout. Service was good. I first went here late in the afternoon (close to its closing time). I quickly glanced at each section of the store inside. The kind gentleman upfront wanted to assist me but after asking him if it was open tomorrow (it would be Sunday), he said yes to which I gave him my promise that I would be back tomorrow. The same man assisted me when I was back the very next day to make a purchase. Not sure if he remembered me or not. It's not chocolate bon bons or tortes you can enjoy at this store. The café offers tasting trios, mocha, chocolate mouse, ice cream, affogato, hot chocolate, and espresso and so on. This is a haven for chocolate fanatics.
