    Maple iced lattes
    Kristi M.

Very subpar customer service and overpriced food. The coffees were the best part and the only thing I would suggest here. I am still trying to process how two breakfast toasts and two coffee would be $55. We also waited 45 mins (I'm not being overly dramatic) for the burnt toasts to come out. I would not return here on my next trip.

I'm going to start this review off by saying this- some of the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced had taken place here at Tomorrow and Tomorrow. We were so excited to check this place out as we had heard many great things, and that was the first spot of the day kicking off our anniversary. The person at the counter taking orders was extremely rude and unprofessional when it was our turn. She was condescending on every question we asked since it was our first time in. We were curious what the signature latte was since it doesn't tell you on the menu "It's..rosemary?" and then rings up said latte and huffs and puffs like a child when we said we were gonna do two iced lattes "Ugh okay lemme take the signature latte off the order". We go to order breakfast sandwiches but there's a sign that says "No bagels" no big deal, we asked her what do they come on instead "Sourdough....." with the rudest tone and look on their face. My partner asked if she can get a side of tomato jam for her sandwich to a response of "Ya I don't know probably"..at this point I was ready to leave as I am in the industry myself and have been so for 20 years and I'm not gonna let anyone treat me like that. We stuck around though as it was our anniversary and this place was recommended by many others when we told them we were going to Taos for our celebration. Coffee took 20 minutes to make two iced lattes, food took another 30ish and they weren't that busy either. We waited so long that someone who worked there eventually came up and asked if we needed help with anything- we stated we were waiting on our order and they said it was gonna be another 10 minutes. All that waiting around for burnt sourdough, half melted cheese, and bland sausage. Kitchen seemed frazzled although it wasn't busy, felt like they threw our food together to start cleaning the kitchen to close, although we weren't there near closing time. The tab was also somehow $52 for two iced coffees and two mediocre breakfast sandwiches..talk about a ripoff. I haven't even had breakfast that expensive in Aspen or Jackson Hole. One star because the coffee was really good, and the bathroom was cool but that's about it. Everything else about the experience there was lackluster, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who visits Taos. This experience was so awful that I had to send in an email in hopes they respond/take my feedback and improve on things, but I will not go back next time I'm in town personally to see if these issues have changed. Mainly due to the woman at the counter but also the food was very underwhelming especially for the steep price.

I loved the breakfast we had here! The bagels was huge with lots of tasty veggies on top. I really liked the red tomato sauce that my boyfriend had on his toast as well. Coffee was good too. I would definitely come back and try some more things.

What a fun and unique breakfast spot! I was in Taos ski valley for the weekend and decided to stop by the city of Taos before heading out! A few friends from the group I was in suggested we go since they've heard such great things. It's a little cafe style spot. They have an open kitchen concept where the chefs are cooking food and bringing it out immediately to the display case. And that's the menu. They put out different dishes to choose from and you take it or leave it. All the bread is so fresh and delicious since it's made right in house. I got the open faced Lox Bagel which was massive and delicious. The best of both worlds. It was so tasty and fresh. I would've liked something with egg but the egg plates showed up right after we ordered. But all was well since what I got was so flavorful and satisfying. They also have coffee/tea. I got a matcha sweetened with honey (they had no syrups) and it was great! No complaints but maybe could've been a bit more matchaey. The girl at the front was so friendly and explained all my questions to me in positive way. There was also a lady in the kitchen area that was also so nice and let me try some fresh bread. This is a definitely a place I'll be stopping by when I'm in Taos!

We recently had breakfast here for the first time. You order at the barista counter and the chefs call out your order quickly. The fresh bread is huge and amazing. We each enjoyed an open face bagel--customized to our liking--one with lox, cream cheese, onion, capers and sprouts and one with lox and eggs. The bagels were a little too tough to cut with a butter knife but you just pick it up and bite into it. So good. Great place, fresh foo. Will be back.

Focaccia, all organic Italian with heirloom tomato

Delicious, Organic sourdough focaccia. Wheat based which is so unusual for focaccia...quite delightful! Nice crust, hearty and wholesome. Made in a beautiful, old stone oven by a sweet woman whom was passionately baking away at the back. I hear she started her culture in Paris many years ago. The place is cute, good vibes...feels a bit like you could be in Europe. The sandwich's certainly reflect that kind of quality. Stumbled upon it and so glad we did. Yummmmmy! Will be back.

I don't understand how this place is not all 5 stars! The bread is delicious and fresh. The coffee is excellent and the ambience is low key hip. The toasts are so so good, we had one with jam and ricotta and one that was like a caprese toast. Both so good. The bread was so good we even bought one to take home all the way to Colorado.

    Their website and hours

I walked in at 2:06 and they told me they were closed. I guess they don't want to make money and closed early. Unfortunately won't try to come back.

Service was solid (the lady upfront was welcoming with a nice smile) and that might be of the most attractive aspect of this shop than what they offer such as coffees and food stuff. I had a doppio over ice. It somehow lacked the "kick" I wanted to taste in it (any/all espresso shots should have; overall though it wasn't bad.) I noticed some savory pastries at the counter; I got enticed by it but I refrained from getting it as I was on my way to a chocolatier nearby. After walking away from it (a few hundred yards) I realized that I had left my sunglasses in the shop. I immediately went back to get them where the same lady knew why I was back there. She kindly placed them in a secure place for me in the meantime from she pulled them out of. Small and yet a little kind gesture I noticed about her and the shop which I wanted to make a note. So in short, my experience with this place was good.

Hidden Gem Alert | Taos, New Mexico…read more Some coffee shops announce themselves. Others let the coffee do the talking. Tucked away in Taos is one of the most unassuming coffee shops you'll ever find. From the outside, you might drive right past it. Step inside, though, and you'll immediately understand why there's always a line out the door. My daughter and I each ordered iced lattes. She went with vanilla and oat milk, while I stuck with my go-to combination of oat milk and honey. Both drinks were outstanding. Smooth, balanced, and packed with flavor without being overly sweet. I've had coffee all over the United States and in several countries around the world, and these lattes easily rank among my favorites. The coffee impressed us so much that we couldn't leave without grabbing a bag of their light roast to take home. What stood out just as much as the coffee was the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the service was excellent, and despite the constant flow of customers, everyone was smiling. Yes, you'll probably wait in line--but trust me, it's worth every minute. One funny moment from our visit: I had just found an open table when a gentleman told me, "I was saving that one." I laughed, told him to go right ahead...and then watched him walk over and sit at a completely different table. It gave my daughter and me a good laugh and made for one of those random travel memories you don't forget. Final Verdict: If you're visiting Taos and consider yourself a coffee lover, this place belongs at the very top of your list. Fantastic coffee. Friendly people. A welcoming atmosphere. And a line that tells you everything you need to know before you even take your first sip. Sometimes the best coffee shops aren't the flashy ones--they're the ones that quietly become unforgettable. Adorable (well, everything is adorable in Taos; it's the southwestern charm for sure!) but it's more than what its appearance says it all. You have to try their products and see for yourself. What I got me were a few bon bons and a chocolate torte (the whiskey kind). -Miso Caramel: is shaped like a mushroom. Even if you might not be a fan of miso based (everything), you should try these bon bons anyway as they don't taste like miso at all. I was quite shocked with this myself (well, I like miso soup; miso taste doesn't bother me at all. Even so, Miso chocolate candy was something I didn't know what to expect out of. That is why I am saying that I was surprised by it.) -New Mexico , Spicy: was also surprising. The kick in these tiny pieces was quite mighty and yet it was tolerable. -Whisky Torte: All sorts of organic ingredients are used to make these delightful tortes. Tortes tend to be a lot heavier than traditional cakes as their texture is that of fudge. And yet, that shouldn't be a reason for you to steer clear from it as this chocolatier perfected the torte in a way that it will not be too rich or heavy for your taste or stomach. At least that is what I thought when I tasted it. Another must-try item on their menu offerings. For its interior, it's mostly and simply grey on walls but this emits the "chicness" that doesn't overshadow the theme of its business. You should also pay attention to the ceilings and the floors. A careful attention to entertain the guests' eyes is seen throughout. Service was good. I first went here late in the afternoon (close to its closing time). I quickly glanced at each section of the store inside. The kind gentleman upfront wanted to assist me but after asking him if it was open tomorrow (it would be Sunday), he said yes to which I gave him my promise that I would be back tomorrow. The same man assisted me when I was back the very next day to make a purchase. Not sure if he remembered me or not. It's not chocolate bon bons or tortes you can enjoy at this store. The café offers tasting trios, mocha, chocolate mouse, ice cream, affogato, hot chocolate, and espresso and so on. This is a haven for chocolate fanatics.

If you have questions about the menu, ask for her recommendations--you won't be disappointed. My partner ordered Martin's Breakfast Burrito, and I had the huevos rancheros. Both were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Michael's Kitchen is only open Wednesday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., so plan accordingly. We arrived around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait. It was busy, but the wait was actually enjoyable because the restaurant has several little nooks filled with antiques and artwork by local artists. There was plenty to look at, and the time passed quickly. Taos has many wonderful mom and pop restaurants, but from what I learned during our visit, there are fewer locally owned restaurants serving traditional Spanish cuisine. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try all of them, but I'm very happy we chose Michael's Kitchen. Between the authentic food the welcoming atmosphere and Chaniece's outstanding service, it was one of the highlights of our visit to Taos.
