Skipped the long lines at Starbucks and decided to stop here, my girlfriend went with the their iced chai. I went with their iced mango tea. There was a brief line here and only one employee working so she'd take an order then move to make their drinks then come back. She made the drinks at a reasonable rate and kept it moving without much wait. Definitely could use a second person to speed it up a little bit. They do offer some pastry or small bite options also. Not the best iced chai or tea drink we have had but honestly for an airport location and shorter lines than Starbucks no big complaints. May not be everyone's cup of tea (pun intended) but worked for us for a drink before our flight. read more

Well got a blueberry scone and it was hard to eat. Not only was it expensive but it was super dry and tiny. I asked for an iced Dark Chocolate iced latte and it was so thick and syrupy. Sure, fine, no complaints. Came here to get a tea early in the morning. Employees were ok, not very friendly but I understand its really hard to smile so early in the morning. I came to get a tea and confused everyone when I ordered off of their tea menu and it wasn't a tea that they had. Then when I chose another option, it wasn't on their menu but was one that they had. Decent tea options, minus a little confusion and I was pretty happy. Did take them a little bit longer which is interesting for hot water but that's ok. My tea ended up getting the job done and I got to drink it my whole flight home. read more

Stopped here between flights for coffee. Coffee bean does not ever disappoint. The girl at the register was incredibly friendly and got my order going right away. The vanilla latte tasted perfect (I got it with half powder). Tasted really fresh and was served steamy hot, and made to order. I got an iced hazelnut latte in a regular size and it was almost $6. The cashier was impatient with me when I couldn't hear him and asked him to repeat his question. I thought the drink was over ice rather than ice blended because it wasn't in the ice blended section. Regardless it tastes pretty good. Blank stares when I took it back. 2nd person in line for the day and it too over 15 minutes to get the cold milk not hot latte. Unreal. 2 people left, after paying due to slow service. Knowing that the Starbucks in Concourse C will be packed I stroll the extra few hundred yards knowing Coffee Bean will likely be empty. It is but I don't think because their coffee is inferior but because most people are lazy and lemmings only to flock to where everyone else goes. Anyhow Coffee Bean is empty despite crowded at surrounding gates. I order my small iced Americano which is ready quickly. When I went to add cream to my coffee the decanter was empty so I asked for more cream. One of the gals at the counter pulls a new bottle of cream from the fridge but instead of peeling back the foil safety seal she breaks the seal with a bottle opener and then proceeds to stick her finger through the foil and into the bottle. Such a disappointment. I'd been craving an ice blended for the past 3 months but had to settle with Starbucks or Caribou. So when I found out the Denver airport had a Coffee Bean shop, I was so excited to get it on my way home. I planned to grab it right before boarding and went to the other side of the terminal, bought the drink no problem and then I headed to my gate. I finally took a sip on the way back and it tasted awful- I've had so many ice blendeds that I knew something was made wrong. I don't know if it was just this location or if the overall quality of Coffee Bean has gone down, but I'm extremely disappointed and can't see myself recommending it anymore. read more

Unique coffee, I like it better than the place that starts with a "S". I know this place is a chain, but they have some of the best iced coffee ever. I always get the iced black coffee (black), and add a small amount of cream to it. It tastes much smoother than the other places I got iced coffee from. There should be more of these locations. read more

The service was quick and efficient, but the vanilla latte was extremely sweet which is really the only reason for my rating. Unfortunately, I needed some form of coffee for the ridiculous morning I had at the airport so I was really looking forward to my first sip. I could only drink about half of the small size due to the sweetness, but my wife enjoyed her iced vanilla latte. Then again, she favors the sugar in her coffee....the more, the merrier. Being that this is a new establishment, it has its growing pains. I'm definitely excited that this place has the green tea matcha latte on the menu!! Although, I nearly exhibited a diabetic coma from the excess glucose overload, it was the excitement of the store that made me okay with it. I fly a lot on Southwest, which explains why I spend so much time in the C concourse. Early morning flights mean that I am usually grabbing something quick to eat and I find myself gravitating toward coffee cake or muffins. Unfortunately The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf don't seem to be able to fill their display case much before 7 AM, and I'm kind of at a loss to explain this. All of their baked goods come in cardboard boxes with cellophane wrap on top. That means all they have to do is open the box and put it on the tray in the display case. And if you ask for something that isn't in the case, they just tell you they're out (but 15 minutes later, there are magically 25 there!) I don't drink coffee, so I can't comment on the quality of their beverages. I gave them 3 stars only because the baked goods are tasty - when you can get them! read more

I walked up to the menu board and tried to decide what I wanted. The energetic and very polite guy, Bali, asked if he could help. I mentioned I wanted something blended and he made a recommendation. I don't remember what it's called, but it's a blended mocha with a cherry flavor and little grinded bits of coffee beans. It's phucking amazing! Nowadays, I like to buy a cup of coffee right before I get on an airplane. Some things about this are noteworthy... First, the right amount of caffeine tends to put you in a slightly better mood, which makes it easier to persevere through your otherwise horrible flight. Second, if you happen to have a carry-on bag, which I always do, having a hot cup of coffee in one hand makes it pretty challenging to board the airplane and stow your carry-on bag without accidentally scalding the people who were seated before you. In fact, the first time you try this, you will immediately realize that you need a bag with four roller wheels instead of two: the two extra wheels would enable you to roll your bag down the aisle instead of carrying it with one hand while holding your extremely hot coffee in the other. Third, it is almost impossible to find a palatable cup of coffee in the airport-- any airport-- and so I try to make this a kind of mindfulness exercise: "This cup of coffee, albeit bad, is going to make my flight less so", I say to myself. Here's the thing though: when I bought a cup of coffee from this place, I was all prepared to recite my mantra, but then I took my first sip, and I was like, "Holy $#*%! this coffee is good." read more

I was so happy to find a coffee bean at the Denver Intl airport so I stopped by for an iced vanilla latte and you all know how hectic it is at the airport so when I ordered my drink I forgot to mention that I wanted non-dairy milk, I took a sip or two and quickly realized so I got back in line and apologetically said, "I'm so sorry I forgot to mention I wanted non-dairy milk." So the girl at the register looked at me weird then went and whispered something to the barista, the barista then looked at me with attitude and said, "you never mentioned that!" Her tone was so rude and on top of it all she said that'll be 89 cents please when the girl at the register never mentioned an additional charge. I ordered a vanilla latte with coconut milk, as I'm a breastfeeding mother and my baby is very sensitive to dairy. At most coffee shops this is a safe bet. Apparently this coffee shop uses a vanilla powder that contains dairy, and my poor kid is now paying the price with an upset belly and a diaper rash from hell. If someone orders a non-dairy milk, you would think that the barista would be kind enough to advise if the drink will still contain dairy. read more
