Baristas were nice and friendly, but the food and drinks I ordered were just okay. I like that they have a large selection, but that also takes away from the quality of their products. If you don't like your drinks too sweet, definitely go really light on the powders and sweeteners. read more

I've always love their coffee, it doesn't taste burnt unlike one of the most popular place on earth. If you've never tried their plantation ice tea, then it's time you should. The staff here are friendly. Ample space to study, but I wish the chairs could be more comfortable. Would have given a 5 star, but can't sit too long on their chair. Having a herniated disc, chairs are so important especially if you want to enjoy your coffee sitting down while you read a book. read more

I think this is the best coffee place I have been to yet. I'm normally a Starbucks gal and with the closing of Starbucks in this shopping center I was completely over the huge line at the drive thru one in the Safeway shopping center as well as the line out the door. I haven't had a bad cup of coffee from here yet. I've been schooled on the differences of coffee and the particular drinks that I think are what they are at Starbucks are not really what the true drink is. The staff here is friendly and quick with your order, never been disappointed with this locations customer service. I did deduct one star because of the way they have been heating my food, outside warm...inside super cold :( This is not the employees fault in my opinion since they just throw it in the microwave-oven and press a button...but maybe it should be advised to heat it a bit longer? I deducted one more star because they recently started charging $.79 for extra ice in my Iced Americano. Not only this location, but at Kamakana Alii Mall as well. This is robbery considering I go 3-5 times a week. Thats almost an extra $5 a week, $20 a month on extra ice. GASP!!! Again, not the employees fault as they are charging accordingly because thats what corporate says to do. Time to change drinks, I should go to the hot beverage side or quit coffee. read more

Love coming here! The location is convenient, they have free wi-fi and the staff is great! Their stamp card program is awesome too! It's based on every dollar you spend, so I get a free large drink every 2-3 weeks depending on my prior visits. Awesome! I'm not a regular at coffee bean, but when I need a change of pace, I'll visit here since it's connected to one of the grocery stores that I frequent. I also don't really stray from my usual, so I ordered their iced vanilla latte. I like that it's a little coffee strong but not too overpowering where I can't taste the vanilla. I also like that they use soy milk. It's refreshing and I try a lot of iced vanilla lattes, and this one makes my top 5. They also have some great looking accessories from cups to coasters and I couldn't leave the store without buying a cute cork coaster! The atmosphere is very relaxing if you need to just take a break from anything really, you can actually people watch with the foot traffic fronting the store. It's great to see the Uncles and even Grandpas hanging outside talking story on the outside tables and chairs doing just that-people watching! Come here before work some mornings when I need a pick up. I honestly don't like blended drinks but this is the only place I'll come for a blended drink. I absolutely love their hazelnut ice blended, and their white chocolate ice blended, or if I don't really feel like getting a blended drink I usually get iced vanilla latte with half a scoop of vanilla. This specific location I have encountered such great service by this girl who works mornings. She always seem so happy and I remember she asked me if I wanted an extra shot, which I didn't get so I wondered if she had an extra shot but she said that's her normal self, so you go girl thanks for that natural pick me up. I really enjoy everything here from the service to the coffee, especially when it usually starts my day. read more

So this female staff(with the glasses) who was working this morning! I just had the best customer service experience in my entire life! So I didn't see my (female stuff) period coming, so I had to go through this panicking moment there. I tried to ask those female staffs whether if they have any female hygiene stuff, but there was a male staff so I couldn't say that out loud. And this girl with the glasses who was helping another customer at that time, didn't know why I was acting weird. So I was like holy sh*t, I should go to foodland. So I went to foodland looking for the feminine hygiene products. And this girl ran up to me and said she didn't know that it was female stuff. And she gave the tampon and panty liner that she had. I'm pretty sure that those kinda actions were not written on the staff manual, but that was gee.... so awesome and sweet!!!! Omg the only location that Creates New Flavors. I was Impressed with the creation of the Ice Blended Cotton Candy Drink. Blew my mind Lactose Free cause drink utilizes Almond Milk and has a Pink and Blue Hue when served. What took me to a New Level of Nirvana is the Tropical Blend Ice Blended drink. Mango Puree and for $0.99 add Li Hing Mui Powder. This drink takes you to Paradise and allows you to stop and Breathe that Hawaii Tradewind. Staff are Super Friendly and willing to give you that extra cup of Ice that is Simply Crushed ice that is so Hard to find on the Island. Coffee is really good. I got the vanilla bean cold brew latte and its amazing. The bagels are good but i wouldnt advise getting the breakfast sandwiches. Probably tastes good fresh but after its made, refrigerated and then shoved into a microwave its pretty gross. read more

I've been coming here for two years, and I can't believe I've never written a review before. I usually get the same thing: ice blended black forrest-no sugar added powder or ultimate mocha-no sugar added. I love that they give military discounts and Maikai card from Foodland next door, but to be honest, even if they didn't, I'd still come in. The staff is super friendly and patient. Even when it gets busy, they never loose their cool and their demeanor is still friendly. LOVE The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and actually prefer them over Starbucks. If you prefer to drink tea rather than coffee (like me) than this is the place to go. I usually get the double vanilla tea latte. I LOVE the flavor of this tea. During the holidays I ALWAYS get the Iced Blended Pumpkin latte. It is soooo good! I've never ONCE had bad customer service from this staff, and I've been going here often since this past August. They have a stamp card. One stamp for every dollar that you spend, and when the card is filled up, you get one drink of ANY size for FREE. They're constantly serving new flavors of drinks and I've never seen a time where they haven't first left it available as a sample. They sell select flavors of Bubbies Mochi Ice Cream, even the recent seasonal flavor (Pumpkin) which is AMAZING. FROM THE STAFF TO THE DRINKS ... totally worth our drive. I have been to the other locations and they have gotten it wrong more than once. This time I went into this Ewa Beach location to once again CORRECT my drink... It was an XL dark chocolate ice blended with an extra shot & whip cream. IT CAME OUT PERFECT! JEIZLYN, CHELSEA & JOSEPH were so accommodating & they actually care about you as a returning customer. I wanted to downsize my drink to compensate for the taste BUT Jsaid NO we will take care of it & make sure it taste perfect. I mean they followed through with everything they said they would do--- I WAS VERY DOUBTFUL, BUT THEY PROVED THIS LOCATION IS SO WORTH DRIVING OUT TO & THEY MADE SURE WE LEFT HAPPY AS EVER! give them a visit & you will not be disappointed. I prefer to coffee bean over Starbucks any day. The people at this location is always friendly and upbeat. They provide me with exceptional product knowledge of their menus and always know what to suggest for me. I also love their stamp cards because I fill them up fast and I love getting free drinks when I come here they is usually not a line so I get my drink about a minute or two after I pay. My favorite drinks here is the ultimate ice blended mocha or vanilla and the chai tea latte iced. Coffee bean is usually located in every Foodland so if your ever shopping for groceries I suggest you try it out! read more

I normally like the drinks from any Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, but the hot peppermint mocha I ordered hardly had any peppermint, was luke warm, & was only 3/4 filled.
