One of my least favorite coffee places I've ever been in Phoenix. The coffee doesn't taste good and the prices are insane. There is a whole $1 up charge for a splash of soy milk in a cold brew. We asked for cinnamon on our cortado, and they just dumped a huge spoonful. Seems like there is a lack of care because it's a busy spot, which is definitely disappointing. Don't be deceived by the long lines after church. There are plenty of other spots close by that are much better and way cheaper!

On a hot summer day, a frappe sounded amazing and the mocha mind freeze hit the spot. It is a large busy location but was comfortable and easy to hold a conversation. The only reason I don't give it the full 5 stars is the lack of options for the person I was with who is gluten free. She had an extremely limited menu and when she ordered her drink it was somewhat lacking in flavor. The monkey mocha mind freeze had zero banana taste at all.

A wonderful spot to meet up and enjoy food and drinks, featuring a hug outdoor patio and ample indoor space.

Delicious Coffee and Breakfast Spot located in Scottsdale. The service is great and the cashier/baristas are really good with recommending drinks. I got the Chocolate Pistachio Latte and deeply enjoyed it. The chocolate was rich and the pistachio flavor was subtle but complimentary. The Coffee Plantation has plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside, great place to work remote from, study, or bring a book to read. Definitely a fun spot to check out!

I've been to this Coffee Plantation location many times before, but this is the first time I swung by since the renovation, and everything looks great! The interior is more inviting, lighter and brighter, and comfortable. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the selection of decor, right down to the realistic artificial plants hanging from the ceiling to the lamps that match the surroundings so well. My wife and I sat in a cozy booth to grab an espresso pick-me-up after eating dinner nearby. She ordered a standard double espresso, and I ordered a cortado. Both were delicious. They have an accompaniment area where you can doctor up your own drink, though it would be nice if they had creamers of various sorts out. (Maybe they do in the mornings; I'm not sure.) I visited the restroom, and it was entirely remodeled as well and looks great. I can definitely see how this was needed in order to continue to compete, and I think this should do the trick. This place has always had something of a loyal following, and I think this will only enhance that. They didn't pull anything great away and only improved things, in my opinion. Looking forward to trying the food and their cold brew on another visit to see if they're still as good as they were prior to the remodel. They did have quite a few pastry and snack items for sale when I visited, though they were a bit overpriced. That said, they looked great, and I could see myself splurging on a date or something if I really wanted something. Here's wishing The Coffee Plantation the best of success going forward!

Stopped by for a quick coffee & the first one that captured my eye on the menu was the Honey Lavender Latte. My friend also ordered the same thing it was pretty good & we loved the interior It was quiet and super clean, staff was nice & They have a wide variety of food from crepes, Dubai chocolate and pastries! Can't wait to be back to Try their food items & matcha!

This coffee shop is gonna turn into my new favorite study spot. One of my classmates had a study group here and it was my first time hearing of this place although I am new to living in Scottsdale. I then came back here again myself to study and decided to try one of their Nutella crepes with banana slices and whipped creme. Omg it was so freaking delicious. It's also a huge crepe and the worker was so nice she had added strawberries to it as well. I'm actually craving it again that I might have to stop in here again soon just to have another crepe! There's lots of tables and outlets and a few booths. The music isn't too loud so it's perfect for studying.

Love the new look! This is a huge upgrade! Very classy, and love that they kept a couch for community sitting. I do miss the community table but it's nice to see so many more tables and the beautiful new menu. I ordered a nice try Americano and it was perfectly bitter, just like I like it :-)

Honestly the coffee was just okay. We also ordered pesto chicken panini and shashuka, I liked the pesto chicken panini, but the shashuka was not the type that I imagined. The tomato dices seemed to be bigger than other shashuka I've eaten before.

We stumbled upon this coffee shop after having to stop at a tesla supercharger. I'm soo glad this coffee shop was right there!! Im no coffee advocate, but the white chocolate pistachio was heavenly. Arguably one of the best drinks I've ever had!! We will definitely be back! From past reviews, it looks like this place underwent recent (much needed) renovations. I had to do a double take before finishing this review...just look at the difference in the pictures!!!

First visit at this place, but definitely not the last! There are a few breakfast and lunch options, such as sandwiches and crepes, but I only had a coffee to start with. Cortado, to be precise, which was one of the tastiests I have taken in the States so far. Balanced, smooth, flavorful. Friendly service, and spacious interior, make you feel comfortable and just enjoy life.

Cute casual but clean and bright atmosphere. Love the large patio. I got the honey matcha and it's clear they use real matcha and honey and it wasn't too sweet. I'll definitely return!

Cute coffee spot! It's been around forever but it's been remodeled and they did a great job. Lots of seating with plenty of space. Strawberry cheesecake matcha was tasty and the pistachio affogato was small but delicious

I ordered the salmon poke bowl with brown rice. What I received was the salmon poke bowl with quinoa. The iced tea was $5. A side of Brussels sprouts was $8 and very small. Our table had poured and downed almost all of the water in the carafe before I noticed a small black beetle submerged at the bottom of it. When I told the server, he replaced it, but didn't give everyone new glasses. Only me. My friend ordered a wrap and asked for it to be gluten free. The person who brought the food told her that it was gluten free. The server, who had taken the order, came back and told her it wasn't gluten free. He told her he'd replace it and take it off of her bill. It took her forever to get the new wrap. And when she got the bill, he hadn't removed it from her tab.

This review is for the totality of the experience…read more I made an advance reservation at Alma Scottsdale for a mid-sized group of 7 to celebrate a special occasion. Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

The six of us were seated across from the bar, and it was HOT . I started sweating and needed to use the menus as a fan and drink water to try and cool off. The restaurant had already been open for almost 2 hours, so I am not sure why it was so hot inside (others in our party were hot too, so I wasn't just me). Positives are the restaurant's beach decor and the hamburgers. Several people in our party ordered burgers, and they were cooked to perfection and the fries were really good! Negatives are very few seafood menu options and the fish tacos were terrible. They were drowning in a mayonnaise based slaw. The corn tortillas were really fresh and tasty, but when I bit into my taco I could mostly only taste mayonnaise and the pickled onions. Our friends even made an unsolicited comment that my tacos did not look good. Luckily, I selected fries as my side, because they were the best thing on my plate. With a name like Montauk, and the beach decor, I expected more fresh seafood options on the menu. More than half the menu was not seafood (Mediterranean platter, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, brussels sprouts, salads, etc.). Unfortunately, Montauk does not live up to the hype.
