Our order took slightly longer than some of the other coffee shops we visited, but there was only one barista, it was a weekend, and each drink was handcrafted. This is my favorite place to grab a coffee on my days off from work. I love coming in, book in hand, and enjoying the quiet ambience the shop has to offer. While all the baristas are incredibly fantastic, Callie in particular makes the best lattes. And the place is so clean too! I could go on and on about how spotless the tables are. Found this little coffee joint while slumming it up in Scottsdale today. I visited a bookshop and did a search on Yelp for nearby coffee shops that didn't begin with star and end in bucks. And voila - enter Street Brew. Greeted immediately when we walked in. Super clean. Super chill atmosphere. Super laid back environment. Plenty of seating to discuss your next big multi-trillion dollar deal. Now about this coffee... I went with the 24 oz. iced mocha. It was probably the smoothest iced mocha I've ever had. Incredibly smoooooth. Tasted like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee. Not necessarily a bad thing either. Was it the best local coffee spot in the Valley? ... I'll leave that up to you. Price was on par with just about any other local coffee joint. BUT it's not Starbucks and as long as it's local, I felt good about stopping here. Go check 'em out, peeps. read more

I was visiting in the neighborhood and the original place I wanted to go it was closed so I did a quick Google search and found this coffee place. There's plenty of parking out front on the street. Inside is an interesting but comfortable decor and environment. The menu seems pretty simple with a couple of seasonal beverages on a separate menu. I opted for the French toast latte iced. I thought it was just OK. I'm not sure what flavor profile was supposed to really stand out, but it just tasted like lukewarm espresso, and milk. I also ordered a croissant, not heated and it was probably the worst croissant I've ever tasted in my life. I would probably try this place again for other items. The service was friendly and helpful. They have a small retail section as well and plenty of tables for seating and working. read more

Let me start by saying the ambiance is very nice. The establishment has that typical neighborhood feel but tourists would like it as well. I only found out about this location because I was getting some work done at the brake master right down the street and I wanted something other than Starbucks. The customer service was great but as usual for most locations these days the prices were bit high if you get non-dairy milk. Now don't get me wrong the prices are not unreasonable but $1.10 extra for oat milk did surprise me. I had the mocha latte with oatmilk of course and it was very good. I stopped by here earlier today with my son for our morning coffee. We were staying nearby at the Great Wolf Lodge and when I fired up Yelp , Street Brew Coffee came up. It had solid reviews and I saw some pictures of a pastry area as well. This shop is located in a row of shops and there is street parking right outside. The inside is nicely done in blacks, greys and beiges. There is a giant mural on one of the walls, a pastry display area, an area to order and then plenty of seating. For my coffee on this morning I went with a hot latte and ordered my wife and mother in law iced mochas. Then I chose the jalepeno cheddar scone for myself, the strawberries and cream scone for my wife and my son chose a chocolate covered biscotti. The first item that I tried was my scone which I thought tasted great. It was toasted and so had a slightly crispy exterior and then a soft interior with a nice cheddar flavor. It wasn't super crumbly like I think of a traditional scone but that didn't bother me. What I didn't get from it was the flavor and spice from the jalepeno which would have been a nice addition. My wife and mother in law both enjoyed their mochas this morning and then the strawberry cream scone was crumbly, as expected, and had a nice flavor to it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed both my coffee and scones here and would be interested in trying some more. read more

First the overall - it's good. Ive been to a couple of Scottsdale spots and this one is the best of them at this point. Service is fine, the place is a nice place to sit with coffee while the wife yaps and the coffee is fine. The service - it's fine. I've been helped by a couple different people and I found out that some are better than others. One of the gals never told me where cream, sugar and other fixings were so I thought she was putting them in my coffee for me - apparently not? The other girl did the opposite. Otherwise, they're plenty friendly and fairly quick. Its just coffee. The ambiance - it's excellent. The place is cute and exactly what you'd want for a coffee shop to hang out in. My wife and I come in here on Sundays and hangout for a bit, it's nice. For whatever reason, most coffee shops can't figure this part of but Street Brew nails it. The coffee - it's fine. I'll admit I'm a bit of a snob, I have an espresso machine at home. Nobody makes coffee like I do (I can feel you rolling your eyes)... That being said, I keep coming back. The cold brew is good but not very coffee like, mostly watery and I don't like that. My wife gets a carmel macchiato and hers is pretty good but same deal, very watery. We don't wait for ice to melt either so not sure what the deal is. I do like it though, else I wouldn't come back. Overall, a good little spot. If the coffee improved, I'd be thrilled. The service is good enough, Im not expecting them to do a jig for me, they're always nice. Maybe some music would help a little too, it's pretty quiet in there sometimes. read more

My first day in Scottsdale, and I hit the jack pot by stopping at the Street Brew Coffee. Was really looking for highly rated coffee spot along the Scottsdale Road, but got that and a whole lot more. Located in the strip mall that looks to be 1980s design, Street Brew is small yet super clean coffee shop. Taunting their logo "Life Begins after Coffee", I think many coffee lovers like me would whole heartedly agree. Regular coffee was pretty good and so were the scones. Tala who is the owner was very helpful in giving us pointers about everything Scottsdale. As I just moved to Scottsdale this was enormously appreciated. Very nice place to come and chill get some work done , a little quite music wise which is nice , there are a couple couches , benches and tables inside and out of the coffee shop.
