The hours get shorter and shorter. The coffee gets dumped out earlier and earlier before closing time. The pastry case is great but it can be nearly empty with random mostly dry pasties on Sundays. They are not consistent with coffee choices. So if you are looking for the favorites no guarantees on any day. After 11 they go to one single style coffee. I used to go every day and sometimes twice. Now maybe once every few weeks because it sucks.

cute lil coffee shop in mt. lebanon area ! good place to study and do work as they have free wifi that works well, outlets, and a decent amount of tables to sit at. the baristas today had great music taste so i def enjoyed the background music as i studied :-) i ordered an iced lavender latte and they def made a great ratio between the flavor and the latte itself so i highly recommend their lattes with any flavor of your choice. they also had a great selection of pastries and snacks so you def couldn't order a drink without a snack on the side !

Updating as they have now added more lounge seating in the front! Looks like they are still renovating but a nice update

My thing this summer is going to coffee shops & reading. I'm glad I tried this place out because the coffee is absolutely amazing. Probably my favorite independent coffee shop coffee so far. I ordered an iced cafe caramel and it was so so good. I sat outside to read for a little but it was a Friday evening so the street was pretty crowded and it got kind of loud. I went back inside where it was nice and quiet with calm music playing. Very chill ambiance and vibes.

Stopped in last Friday while on the hunt for caffeinated goodness. Being new to the area it's been rough finding a coffee shop open past 6pm Mon-Fri. I stumbled across Coffee Tree Roasters. Located in an uptown strip of Mt Lebanon this place is a gem. Service was great and super friendly. I ordered a S'mores Mocha and my wife ordered a rooibos tea. We sat there and enjoyed it as the shop was quiet and cozy. Parking can be a pain, but it's worth it for a stop at this place.

As silly as it sounds, we moved to the neighborhood a year ago and my goal was to walk to the Beverly business district and back. Well, one pleasant day the whole family made the mile walk there (I know, not that far BUT THE HILLSSS!). They had a system down for COVID times and everyone properly socially distanced while in line or waiting for their coffee. It's fairly large inside so it's easy to do so. I've never actually been inside here. The baristas were nice and answered my many questions. I'm a total chai snob and hate a really syrupy sweet chai concentrate. They described it as earthy and spicy, which it was. It was a tad too sweet for me, but I added more milk when I got home. I'd just ask for light syrup next time. I will say, I have celiac disease and I think the drink bothered me. Sometimes chai mixes do that, it's no ones fault, just a weird downfall of the disease. Not the businesses fault. I love Italian sodas and was excited to get my son a peach one. He loved it. All baked goods were individually wrapped and ready to just be bought and enjoyed. Glad this spot is so close and I will conquer the hills!

The Coffee Tree Roasters is the local Pittsburgh coffee chain that spreads joy and caffeine around the Steel City. The shop is small and quaint and cozy. There's plenty of room to sit and relax. They have wonderful gender neutral, all inclusive bathrooms. There's plenty of merch to browse including bottles, mugs, treats, syrups, etc. They have a lot of pastries to choose from. Any type of bread, croissant, sweet, savory, anything. All look delicious. They have some great coffee and tea options. I went with the frozaccino. I've had the mocha and the caramel. Both of them are flawless. So delicious and so refreshing and creamy. I highly recommend. The staff is so kind and helpful. They made us feel welcomed and right at home!

Best coffee in town! I love love love coming to coffee tree and treating myself on the weekend to their coffee. It just hits different and tastes so good! Staff is always friendly and I also love that they have orams donuts sometimes too! I usually grab a yummy biscotti with my coffee as well. Cute little shop and I love grabbing a gift card for friends for special occasions-cant go wrong here.

The service was top notch here especially with my barista Natalie recommending me a delicious cookie and being so very kind. I got a brownie iced latte and it was as strong as the pyramids and as smooth as the Nile River, which is truly a compliment. The atmosphere was truly excellent too!

Located in a BEAUTIFUL area in Mt. Lebanon, The Coffee Tree Roasters is a must. Not only do they have great coffee, but they also have indoor tables available to relax or study. They are also one of the only coffee shops in Pittsburgh open until 8pm! The workers were so helpful customizing the perfect cup of coffee for my taste. I went in for a cup of coffee and ended up buying myself a ChemEx pour over instead. I will definitely be back!

On a Sunday morning in July, I made a visit to Fig Tree Coffee for a coffee drink. I found myself…read morein the Crafton area, and wanted to visit a local shop. Fig Tree Coffee is a newer coffee shop located in Crafton, right by the elementary school. They serve hot coffee, iced coffee, espresso drinks, tea, chai, and more. In addition to drinks, there are some food options available, along with gift-type items. Directly in front of the building, there is street parking available. There is also a private lot located to the left of the entrance for the entire building. The signage in the windows identifying the business makes it easy to locate. Fig Tree is truly a community coffee shop. It has plenty of seating, and proudly displays pieces of the community it serves. They have a bulletin board with local businesses, community events, and other information. Patrons seem to get their items and utilize the space to hang out and socialize. It is nice to see a place like this being utilized as intended! I stopped here around 8:45 AM, and it was not too crowded. There were a few other patrons in the building and in line ahead of me, but I only had to wait a few minutes to order my drink. It can be sort of overwhelming to try and order here, since the menu is so bare and there are not a ton of "special" drinks advertised. However, the baristas and staff will make anything you really are wanting, so I would not worry about this! They have different flavorings and combinations, you just need to ask or make a combination that you want to try when ordering. The barista that helped me on this visit was lovely. I was not exactly sure what I wanted, so I asked what she typically would order or make for herself. She ended up making me that exact drink in a 16 OZ Iced Drink. I enjoyed getting to try something different that I would not have picked for myself! Service was quick. I was in and out with my coffee in about 7 minutes, and that included waiting in line and taking a minute to order. The prices here are reasonable, and in line with what other local coffee shops are charging for similar products. They do accept both cash and card here, just FYI. I did not purchase any food or pastries, but the coffee prices were right in line with expectations. The vibe of this place is very cool, with a true community cafe feel. I love that they highlight their community. Not only with the people and events, but they even with a wall of Polaroids of the dogs that visit the shop! I even had a dog in line in front of me, so they are dog-friendly here. I give Fig Tree Coffee a positive review, and do recommend giving the shop a try if you find yourself in Crafton or the West End. It is a newer shop, but already has great ambiance and community presence. The staff are friendly, drinks are tasty, it is dog-friendly, and it is a great space to hang out or get some work done. I look forward to future visits to Fig Tree when I find myself in the area.

They source their baked goods from BB & Burr, and wow, they never disappoint! The chocolate chip scone was perfectly flavored and crumbly, can never go wrong with them. Overall, it's a great local spot that's part of the community and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Orbis is well known for its dirty chai, so we grabbed an iced dirty chai latte and a vanilla oatmilk latte (our constant to rank the passport cafes). We couldn't resist the display of pastries, so we also grabbed the quiche of the day (chicken & mushroom quiche), an apricot white chocolate oatmeal cookie, and their also well known.. chocolate cinnamon bread pudding. The coffee was solid. I love that they offer to serve it in real glasses and mugs... there is something so relaxing about not drinking out of paper and plastic. The food will make us come back. The quiche had such a flaky crust and they heat it up just right. The cookie had chunks of dried apricot with white chocolate chips and the rolled it in sugar for the extra crunch. The flavor combinations were original and that BREAAD PUDDDINGG. Unless you are allergic to flavor and fun.. you should do whatever you can to go get this! They have two unisex bathrooms down the back hallway. Trust me.. choose left lol. If you're not starting with a quality product you're not going to get a quality end product. If I'm treating myself, I really like when the drinks are special and thoughtful, and they are always thinking through the menu with a rotating selection of interesting, often themed drinks that offer something for every taste. I love how they partner with other local businesses including 19 Coffee Company, Pastries A La Carte, and Becca Bakes. In addition to these pastries there are some light bites such as sandwiches available. They have space to feature some local makers of things like jewelry and once I even bought a little painting created by a dog here to support the dog's medical treatment. That's the kind of local establishment you're dealing with and it's why I love them. All of this and I haven't even gotten to how cozy this place is. Could be the espresso machine itself or how they grind/brew here. Personal preference I guess. I got an iced latte, with caramel and oat milk.
