    Black coffee

My coffee shop orders are always just drip black, so can only speak to that- but it was very delicious. Plus a very comfortable atmosphere to get work done with a very friendly barista. What more can you ask for? Nice local coffee shop.

We stopped in for a quick bite and a drink in-between errands (around 4PM), and overall we liked 61B. Our barista was friendly, and our order came out relatively quickly considering we both ordered blended beverages. They were out of a few fruit options for smoothies by that point in the day, but we were still semi-pleased with the alternatives. The star of the show was the chocolate chunk cookie. It was fresh, soft, and all-around delicious. The smoothie was well-blended and not too sweet, and the blended iced latte was very refreshing. 61B is a cute spot, and we'll be back!

One of my favourite cafes around Pittsburgh! I have found this place to be the only place in Pittsburgh that has the best blueberry lattes! You have an option from ordering at the outside window or inside where it's nice and cool during the summer and they have a bunch of seating areas! Such a cozy spot! The staff is super sweet and welcoming!

The staff was friendly, the wait time was reasonable, the drink was decent. I would come back to try something else for sure!

I got a super tasty iced mocha with oat milk. The barista was really nice. You can order inside or at the window outside the cafe which is convenient. There is a lot of seating to choose from inside, I like the spot by the window the best!

Super friendly barista greeted me when I walked in and helped me choose my order. Really cute space with plenty of tables. I love that there is an option for the outdoor pick up/order window. The front counter was also stocked with homemade goodies like biscotti, cookies, and granola.

This is a nice little coffee shop in Regent Square to stop into. The coffee is and their cookies are really good. Everything in freshly baked. There isn't much seating inside and there isn't any outdoor seating. Most of the people that come here use the outside window to order coffee since it's quicker. They are no longer cash only and will take cards now. That's a big change since they've been cash only for years.

This shop is part of a larger chain but currently appears to be the only location in the Pittsburgh area. It's located in East Liberty and is really more of a bakery than a coffee shop. The inside is split about 50/50, with half dedicated to seating and the other half serving as a self-serve bakery. You grab a tray and tongs before walking around selecting whichever baked goods catch your eye. They also have display cases filled with cakes and other pastries that need to be kept refrigerated. For my coffee on this morning I went with a 16 oz hot honey lavender macchiato while my wife chose a 16 oz iced tiramisu latte. I have to admit that the name of my drink confused me a bit at first, but it ended up being a latte macchiato as expected. With that being said, I thought it was quite good. The lavender was light enough to be noticeable without overpowering the drink, while the honey added just the right amount of sweetness. The espresso was also present, especially on the finish, where it added both flavor and body. My wife also enjoyed her latte and appreciated the tiramisu flavors throughout. Outside of the coffee, we ordered a number of pastries. My wife chose the Crookie, which is a cookie baked on top of a croissant. My son picked out a chocolate-covered Belgian waffle, while my daughter chose the strawberry soft bread. All of them enjoyed what they ordered, and I think my wife especially loved the Crookie. As for me, I went a little overboard and chose a garlic and cheese croissant, a curry croquette, pork-dusted bread, and a sweet taro cream bread. All of them were delicious in their own way. The garlic and cheese croissant was a nice savory option, with plenty of garlic flavor and a crispy cheese crust. The curry croquette had wonderful warming spices that made it especially flavorful. The pork-dusted bread was definitely the most unusual item. The pork topping reminded me of Wild Bill's Beef Jerky, and somehow those savory flavors worked really well on top of the crunchy laminated bread. Last but certainly not least was the taro cream bread. I was impressed by how light it felt despite being packed with an impressive amount of cream filling. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a sucker for bakeries like this and clearly ordered far more than my waistline needed, but everything I tried was enjoyable. While the coffee was good, the pastries are the real reason to visit, with the coffee serving as an excellent complement.

Few tables line the walls, but if you're lucky enough, you can claim one right before the lunch rush, when PNC employees raid the place and the soup sells out. Forget the decadent desserts, hot coffee, or savory sandwiches; I keep coming back because I feel respected here. LaGourmandine is tasty, no question. But at this location? It's particularly loving and feels like home. There is free Wi-Fi, and no better place to get work done while enjoying lunch Downtown. My only complaint: be sure to say whether it's for here or to go when checking out. According to an employee, a small paper cup holds more coffee than a small ceramic cup. But coffee tastes much better in ceramic; I hate when it's mistakenly poured into paper.
