I love this place! The main reason why I love it is their coffee is excellent. I don't like Starbucks, it's always burnt tasting and the place is noisy and employees are not very nice. It's completely the opposite at the village coffee. Everybody is really nice. It's a respectful environment and I can sit and visit with a friend, its quiet , and I can get a great cup of coffee. read more

I stopped by here with my wife and twins on a Sunday morning earlier this year. Every Sunday we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this morning we went to Coffee Village. I waited in the car with them while my wife ran inside and so I can't tell you much about it. All that I do know is that Coffee Village is located in what used to be the crazy Mocha in Sewickley. For my coffee on this morning my wife got me a large latte that had an amaretto flavoring while she got herself a mocha. In addition to that she also purchased some type of bar with berries in it which the kids loved and quickly demolished. As for my coffee here, it was solid and I got enough of the coffee with the amaretto flavor in each of my sips. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. My kids really loved the bar and my coffee was solid, so why not? read more

A super cute coffee shop, located in Sewickley.  Coffee Village is a local chain of neighborhood coffeehouses, but each has a unique setting and vibe.  They sell coffees, teas, juice, smoothies, sandwiches & pastries.  They pride themselves in being a gathering space where you can seek some quiet, lively chats with coffee enthusiasts or simply a haven to escape the rush of daily life!  Large, open space inside- tons of seating both indoors and outdoors.  Great space to study, get some work done or meet some people.  Parking is available on the street and small lots nearby.  Tried one of their specialty lattes and it was delicious- perfect amount of sweet!!! read more

The area was cute, the coffee was good, and the service was great! They also had a nice selection of bakery items that looked really good!

I'm assuming the food was frozen. We both ordered a sandwich and it did the job of filling my hunger but wasn't anything to write home about. My matcha latte was quite grainy which wasn't pleasing. However this is one of the only coffee shops we have been able to find open for dine in during covid so it was nice to be able to get out of the house to do work. A change of scenery to up our production. My partner ordered a fruit smoothie which was good but again, I'm not convinced it was fresh fruits. read more

Crazy Mocha was crazy good. Nice shop in Sewickley with easy access. Staff was polite and helpful. Actually went twice while in town. Had a special coffee of the day, which was fine (not that complicated to serve coffee) but also had the Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte and it hit the mark! Great flavors, a really guilty pleasure. They carry Oram's Donuts, which I did not have but that is a plus as far as I am concerned. Also carried a good variety of biscotti and other snack items. Great, relaxing location- there is both an adequate amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I went on a Thursday around 11 am and it was very busy, but I was still able to find seating with ease! The girls that work here were so friendly and accommodating- a pleasure to be around! I would definitely recommend the Lemon Raspberry Biscotti, it is delicious! read more

I love this particular Crazy Mocha. The location is perfect, and I love stopping by for coffee while wandering around the shops in Sewickley. The town itself is so adorable, and it's really relaxing to wander around aimlessly sipping coffee. There is plenty of seating in this location, and there is an upper level as well to add some extra room. I always see people reading or studying here, and it's usually pretty peaceful and quiet. The baristas at this location are always friendly as well, and I never have to wait more than a few minutes for my latte. I always order a nonfat vanilla latte with just a couple pumps of vanilla, and they always get it right. Never too sweet. read more

Hands-down the best coffee, baristas and atmosphere in Sewickley and surrounding areas. I go here once or twice a week to get some work done. While it's busy and there's a constant hustle bustle, it's quiet enough to meet a client/friend or get some paperwork done. Emma (early morning barista) knew my drink - skim chai latte in a mug - after just a few times of ordering. She's super friendly and quick, and keeps the place clean between customers. Pros: Friendly staff, very knowledgeable group, quick service and good coffee. I especially like their espresso. Cons: I feel like I'm sitting inside a volcano. The AC has been broke for what seems to be an eternity. The doors are propped open to get some air, but seriously, I never stay for a refill because it's unbearably hot inside this store. No internet connection. The staff is always apologetic about the Internet, but I don't know what's so difficult about getting the Internet fixed. It's a coffee shop. The extra star was for the staff and how well they do. But as far as basic utilities not functioning? Come on. read more

Nestled in the back of one of the few shopping plazas in the heart of town, this Sewickley coffee shop is special for these reasons: 1. The coffee is delish and cheaper than other shops. And you don't need to know another language to order. Don't get me wrong ... I enjoy Starbucks from time to time but a SMALL black coffee here is $1.50. And I'm not against chains. There are nine Crazy Mochas in Pittsburgh. 2. Location, location, location. Parking is FREE. In a town where meters are everywhere and eager meter maids lurk with ticket books in hand, this is a nice bonus. The plaza is also home to Quizno's, the Sewickley Herald, a toy shop and a Rita's that is for sale, so you'll be competing for 8-10 spots with those folks. Why blow a few quarters on parking or 2-3 bucks on a ticket when you can buy more java and snacks? (There is a Starbucks a block away but just on-street metered parking.) 3. Atmosphere is fun and relaxing. After you get your order from the prompt and friendly barista, you can chill at one of the two free-use iMacs, get comfy in the nearby leather chairs or lay out your entire comic book collection atop the round tables. One caveat ... there are some loud customers who use the place as their "home office." You may find their conference calls distracting while you're trying to read a good book like A.J. Jacobs' The Know-It-All. Sometimes, though, eavesdropping is more fun than reading. read more

2nd bad experience here. I'm not one to complain, I actually love to give compliments. I left starbucks after trying this place and really enjoyed it MORE. Now I know not every barista will make the best drink every time and that's understandable. But I didn't expect to have coffee so watered down and not right that it becomes hard to drink. I realized this twice now with the same barista. It's not consistent in quality. I shouldn't have had to stop at Starbucks on my way home just to have a decent cup of coffee. I paid for all those to be wasted plus Starbucks to replace the watered down ones I was served. I don't think I will be back after this experience or I will give it another try at a different time of day. I will just have to invest in my own espresso machine. I did appreciate a few of your baristas who made some excellent quality coffees with foam when they were working. read more

Nice and cozy atmosphere. When the school kids come in, though, it can get very noisy. Also, when people bring their small, noisy children in, your reading can get disrupted. Try the Monkey Mocha. It's my favourite at this location. There's even a nice patio they open up in nice weather. Free internet access as well. read more

This is probably one of the best places in Sewickley. It has a calming muted atmosphere and all of the baristas are extremely nice and sincere. Even the high schoolers who work there are kind. I would seriously recommend going there, it's generally inexpensive and has lots of options from coffee to brownies and yogurt and even bagels. read more
