After dropping off my truck from hitting a deer they had all repairs complete in three business days. I work in body repair and painting myself. I can never find a flaw in their work. They go above and beyond what you would expect doing additional things such as a car wash and cleaning floor mats, just to name a couple of things. I also had an LED Ram emblem on the broken grill. I asked them to put the grill in the back so I can put in on my new grill. They installed it on the new grill for me. I highly recommend using B&K. You won't be disappointed.

I went to Acme for the first time April 1 and Curt (the owner) was the absolute nicest guy -- felt…read morelike I knew him forever, and right when I first started talking to him I could sense the sincerity and integrity of this guy and the place -- one of the cleanest auto and body shop repair places that I have ever been to. To make a long story short, Tires Plus, on 132nd and Maple told me this Ford Escape of my daughter's which I had just spent a bunch of $$ at Tires Plus to put a new AC compressor in and recharge a few weeks ago now needed more work. But, when we tried the AC on warm days and even the day after leaving the place the first time after the repair it was not throwing any cold or even cool air out. When I took it back in, assuming it was under warranty from 3 weeks before, they said it now needed a new evaporator coil. The cost? $1600. I took the car back and took it to Kurt at Acme. He and his mechanics checked out the whole AC system to find out it was only a fuse and now the AC is working great and Acme did that at minimal cost. I will keep bringing my cars to Acme. This more a…read moretestament about simple integrity and straightforwardness in business, which is becoming rarer and rarer as our civilization tumbles downhill. I'm from out of town, visiting my folks here. I took my 2015 Mustang to Speidell because I had a bunch of little scratches all over the car and I wanted a paint estimate. They told me straight away that the cost of painting it would be a lot, and, given the car's age and mileage, they asked if I'd be interested in other options, which I was. Then they recommended I take the car to Ming's and see what they could do about buffing some of the scratches out and then, if that didn't do the trick, considering some paint options. I did this and Ming's did a great job. But I just can't thank Speidell enough for pointing me their way and quickly grasping the situation and helping an out-of-towner. They could easily have tried to sell me thousands of bucks of paint work from them, but they gave me an honest appraisal of the work and the cost, and I just really appreciated how I was treated.

(I thought it odd that a repair/replacement of a liner surrounding a tire didn't require the removal of the wheel, but it apparently doesn't.) I was a customer of Dave's and was disappointed to see that they had been taken over by B Street. However, I found the new shop to be very clean, attractive, modern (but with cool old automotive signs) and spacious, and the people are just as friendly and professional. The work got done as fast as possible and they took care of dealing with my insurance company when my insurance company was dropping the ball. I HOPE I never have to come back, since that means something bad has happened to my car but I would not hesitate to return to B Street - Irvington if that was the case. RECOMMENDED!
