Maybe they were having an off night, or maybe I was expecting more based on other reviews here, but they didn't knock my socks off, nor did they really rock the other three people I was with. Tickets were $17.50 each. I'd be interested in seeing them again maybe in an online video to see if they have a better laugh factor than I caught during my live visit. They perform at multiple venues at multiple times so it is not difficult to find a show time that fits into a busy schedule. Believe me, it is worth fitting a show in. The tickets are affordable and easily accessible through their website. Once you go, you will want to go over and over just to see what they can come up with. Because the content is based completely on audience suggestions (and sometimes the audience members even go up on stage and become part of the action!) no show is the same as the last. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I need more stars.

I just can't get over how massive this place is with activities for adults and kids alike. There are multiple stages, and the jousting show is truly impressive. My kids enjoy the juggling, all the puzzles, and of course, dressing up as princesses and princes. There is a lot of food on site. Overall, it's okay. I wouldn't say its the best food, but a good variety. There is also alcohol for purchase including wines, beer and of course, ancient mead. Some of the standouts on our latest visit was the free pony rides, and the rock wall. My son also liked playing the many games throughout the festival. One important tip: make sure you bring cash. Many of the vendors accept Apple Pay, or as they call it, sorcery. But you'll still find many vendors such as the soda/water vendors only taking cash.

Not bad for $15 per person They don't offer any discounts not even military.. You walk up the paved walkway purchase your ticket ($15pp), I think under 6 is free but don't quote me on that. And you wait in line. We waited about 45mins before our group of roughly 20 went into the Haunted Barn walked down a lil hill to the mini maze, and we all loaded up in the trailer for the hayride. Please dress for the occasion, it was 43 degrees out and they don't have space heaters outdoors or fire pits etc to keep you toasty wok you wait. Although a fire pit and selling s'mores kit would've been another selling point. They did have apple cider, canned sodas chips candy and popcorn for sale. I'd suggest pack your own snacks and drinks. Oh and they had glow sticks for the kids. Organization could've been a bit better, lighting to the restroom would've been nice and more scary props. And that god awful smoky smell from the fog machine or whatever was horrendous like old fireworks just bad.

Look no further than Venus Theatre - located in Laurel MD off of Main Street. At Venus, Deb Randall, the artistic director, produces quality cutting-edge shows with professional actors and actresses. Deb is crazy creative and intelligent; you might like the "out of the box" way that she directs the plays. I saw Homokay's Medea here and she had the maid and the gardener from the show giving cookies and punch to the audience; it was a fun show. The seats up front and on the sides are more comfy than the taller seats in the middle, but it is a small theatre, so first come first served. Be sure to get there early! There is a nice concessions table with snacks and drinks just in case you didn't get a chance to eat before the show. I should mention that the restrooms are backstage, so they can't be accessed during the show depending on the stage set-up, so be prepared! Oh, did I mention that the tickets are $20? You can't get into see live theatre, barely a couple of movie tickets for that price around here. Check the website for pay-what-you-can preview days to get a first look at the play in progress. However, the line to get in was wayyy too long and moved wayyy too slow. All that police presence and metal detectors did not yield enough speed nor efficiency. Too many misguided youth repeatedly tried to punk us with the line hopping butttt, they met the right Auntie today. One "bruh" had the audacity to TRY to scream on us, "What are you mad for, we're all gonna get in." I said, "Yeah, but we've been waiting for over an hour and how dare you think you're gonna get in BEFORE us. You better go to the back of the line and wait, like we did." VERY LITTLE to brag about once we finally got in. Inflation has taken the fun outta everything. $5-$7 entrance fee, $10 for 3 darts, $10 per ride ... utterly ridiculous. The Sankofa Mobile Museum was amazing ... guaranteed not enough people experienced it. The live band was AMAZING (the singing not so much) but most def two thumbs up for the band. I only saw 2-3 vendors that were NOT peddling home repairs, gutters, windows, roofs. *Sigh* The wine and beer bar was a welcome addition (although the $9 kiddie cup of Sauvignon Blanc I had was disgusting.) The petting zoo was a joke. Besides the 2 ginormous rabbits and the adorable baby goats, there was only one baby camel, one baby kangaroo, and one pig. Besides the prices, I have no other complaints about the food. It was typical carnival food and we appreciated that. Not sure why they would have food trucks there ... funnel cakes, corn dogs, turkey legs, hot dogs, cotton candy, ice cream, fries, fries and more fries and HUGE lemonades are the BEST! Woke up to a flood of posts and reels about the chaos that ensued after we left. Not surprised. I knew we left at the right time. We came, we saw, we conquered and we declare, PGC Fair ain't gotta worry about us ever again.
