I first took my desktop to Tom a year or so ago for a corrupted hard drive after Best Buy told me that a simple wipe would fix the problem. Spoilers: they were wrong. Since then, Tom has upgraded my GPU, my power supply, my RAM, replaced a broken hinge in my wife's laptop, and will soon be upgrading my CPU as well. I cannot speak highly enough of Tom's professionalism, constant updates, and his availability. When my GPU was having issues, he came to my house to see it in action to get a better idea as to what was the limiting factor. He is extremely knowledgeable and very upfront about what his prices, timing, and recommendations for what you need and what he would do. Overall, Tom has done an amazing job with all my technological issues and while I hope I don't need him in the near future, I do look forward to working with someone as honest and professional as him. read more

After having a horrible experience at a previous computer repair shop, I was nervous about taking my computer to get fixed. I looked up reviews on Yelp for Computer Key Master and decided to take the chance, and it was a great decision! Tom operates his business out of his home but he is extremely professional in all of his interactions. He checked in with me periodically when he was repairing my computer, and he was very responsive to any questions I had. His technical expertise seems superb and he was able to fix my computer with all of its weird issues. He also is honest and reasonable in pricing. My computer took longer to fix because of the parts that had to be ordered, so he reduced the price he had originally charged to make up for the extra time. Does what he says and more...Tom trouble-shot our home network with multiple wifi's and numerous end-devices. After many years of different contractors adding and modifying the system it was a mess and not operating correctly. Tom trouble-shot the system, suggested an upgrade, and gave a quote to come back and install. Though the upgrade and install took quite a bit longer than he anticipated, thanks to my teenagers having made modification too over the years, Tom plowed through to the end, corrected all the additional problems, and still only charged what he had quoted. Tom the "Computer Keymaster" is polite, professional, and built an AMAZING custom computer for me. I now have the processing power and storage to do any video editing project! He only needed 2 days for the custom build (I realize such quick turnaround may not always be the case) and then provided virtual support to resolve a partition issue. Wow - Tom is excellent!! We did not know who to call - We had an out of date home wireless system, data issues and messed up AT&T U-Verse - Nothing was working with anything else. Tom fixed it. He replaced all of the old equipment and updated everything!! - Everyone gets wireless, TV's now work, internet and all computers work.now. He took maybe 2 hours at most to fix an issue i was having with my custom built pc which was surprising since i gave him the pc with wires all over the place. Very professional and polite. Tom came to my house to install a new cooling fan in my laptop by appointment. He pre-ordered the part, so he was prepared for the appointment. Tom helped to recover data from an external drive that my computer could no longer read. He recovered most of the data except a small number of files where the drive was too messed up.
