tldr; the dude is smart as f*** and knows his stuff, his prices are similar if not beating other repair shops. good read if you have time. i called this guy at exactly 9:31pm on a friday no less. wayyyy after his working hours. that alone sold me on this dude's solidness. he actually answered the phone. couldn't believe it. i was stunned. i didn't say anything at first just because of how much i was in disbelief. finally i introduced myself and the problem. Mr King leveled with me, didn't beat around the bush, was straight to the point. he gave me solid advice after i told him i couldn't pay and just needed some guidance on how to troubleshoot some stuff on my asus laptop. my computer is acting a fool right now and honestly, when i went on maps on my iphone, typed computer repair, he came up and was the closest to me (i live in downtown phoenix) so i guess it was luck or circumstance, whatever. i made the unfortunate mistake of buying a laptop before the M1 chips became standard LOL long shot, but hopefully now that the TSMC (Taiwan chip company) factory in phoenix is about to come online in the next couple years, we will see prices come down...but probably not haha anyways, this dude is solid. he knows his stuff. his customer service is next level. the dude could probably work on quantum computers, not even kidding. he's semi-central in the phoenix metropolitan so he's equally distanced from everyone. he only has one shop in the city (as far as i know) his prices are pretty competitive and in line with other repair shops if not better. it's honestly a shame he doesn't have more reviews. i will only go to Mr. King from here on out for repairs SOLELY because he answered my call and gave me solid advice. 10/10, would recommend tldr; the dude is smart and knows his stuff, his prices are similar if not beating other repair shops. read more

The owner is not the friendliest. I took my computer to him to get it fixed as it was constantly;y shutting down. We paid upfront and he gave us a discount for that. Well two days later he calls us up and the computer is ready so we go pick it up. He said all was good with it. Well I get home and played music on it for about 3-4 hours just making sure its not gonna overheat and had no problems, but when I went to get onto the internet and download the updates for WoW it started to download and within minutes my computer shut down and restarted. I figured that was a fluke and tried again. again it happened. So my husband called the repair king and was told he had changed the OS and all it would take was a few clicks and it would be good. Well I ended up having to take it back to him, when I got there he looked at it real quick, and basically told me, "well it was working when it left here" insinuating that I had "broke" it. He then proceeded to tell me that yeah he could repair it, but it would cost probably 3/4 the cost of a new computer. I will not go to him again and would not recommend him to anyone.
