Definitely a jungle when you go inside. Lots of big leafy plants with several small plants on shelves. They have a nice menu of coffee drinks and specialty seasonal drinks. I opted for a small iced latte with whole milk and it tasted really strong. I tasted the strong aroma of roasted coffee beans. This latte is really strong in my opinion compared to other places. I love the environment and the swinging chairs. They looked so cute and very retro. Also this place got free honey condiment and simple syrups you can add to your drinks besides your basic sugar condiments. I love this place with my whole heart! I've been coming here religiously for the good vibes, great coffee, and the incredibly friendly community. There's always a dog to pet, a new plant to inspect, or another drink to try. The chai pumpkin cookie is also amazing! The avocado bagel is a MUST! I love a good iced Matcha latte and have not had one in a while. A friend and I met up for our respective caffeinated beverages of choice here mid afternoon. The space inside is so cool! It's a plant-filled spot with seating on high tops near the area where you order, and more cozy seating beyond, with plants for sale lining the wall and potting soils in the back. I was torn between ordering an iced chai and Matcha latte but opted for the Matcha because I needed the caffeine! The barista was kind enough to recommend marshmallow syrup to pair with the almond milk and Matcha flavors and it was delicious. The photos I included of my drink were after I took several large gulps. I really appreciated how many unique flavors were available as syrups, and how large the sizes went up to for the price. The 20oz was worth what I paid and more. The pastries all looked delicious as well and I hope to return and try them and the other drinks out. read more

I usually enjoy Concrete Jungle Cafe and visit often. However, there's one barista--a white male with curly hair and glasses--whose attitude has been consistently unpleasant toward me and my partner. Each time he's been working, we've experienced dismissive behavior and visible frustration when making simple requests. What's especially concerning is the contrast in how he warmly greets white patrons while treating us with clear irritation. I want to share this so that other people are aware of the experience they might encounter when he's on shift, his very visible, very obvious discontent for certain patrons that enter this establishment. When Lluvia (a café florist) shut down on Bushwick Ave, we were reduced to (what we thought was) one option, Drip, which does not sell plants and doesn't have much seating inside (but is still pretty solid). My boyfriend and I were so thrilled to discover Concrete Jungle, which not only has great coffee and more seating (including swings!) but also sells many varieties of plants. They truly make it easy for customers to discern which plants are for them with helpful signs and color-coded stickers designating low-light, bright-light, and pet-friendly options. There's even a clean stainless steel water bowl for thirsty dogs inside, which our dog happily partakes of every time we visit. Shoutout to Lucky, Juliette, and all the staff for always being so friendly and giving our dog treats whenever they see her! read more

I'm so excited I decided to check this place out while looking for a spot to grab coffee with a friend! It's so cute and the staff is super friendly. I've been back a few times now and their lavender matcha is delicious - the perfect amount of sweet and floral. Plus the shop itself is filled with so many plants and fun pots and other plant accessories and features swing seats - what more could you want! Also, we stopped in on Earth Day and they were giving away cuttings of some of their plants to everyone that came in as a way to celebrate. How fun! read more

Located steps away from the Myrtle St station is a new cafe unlike any in the area. Stepping inside you are transported to an oasis of plants lined along the walls. You can take a seat in one of the swinging chairs or take a seat at the beautiful wooden table and get some work done. You can browse the big selection of plants, pots, or other merchandise. Really really cool spot that just opened around the corner from us. We were so happy that we wet our plants (sorry, I had to! Lol) The owner and his staff are awesome, there are SWINGS hanging from the wall that you can sit on while sipping their delicious coffee (lavender ice latte to be exact) delicious pastries and a wide array of plants to chose from.
