My friend ordered a chocolate chip banana bread loaf and I just grabbed a water. While we waited, we roamed around and noticed the cafe has live music and hosts events. The decor is quaint- renewed Church pews with cushions are the seats of choice. They also feature local musical guests, several times a month, which makes me want to return. The store was pretty emptied at the time, and clerk informed about pricing per hour for game play (board and card games). I decided to skip the games, since all I wanted was some food to-go. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate so I was grateful that this hot coco was more cinnamon cream than coco. Outside of that, I want to give a shoutout to the older woman who was a dishwasher. She was lovely my whole time there and we talked for a bit about the cafe. It sucks that I forgot her name but I could tell she is the best part of service there.
