This store is really big and has a lot of interesting and useful items including some items you didnʻt know you needed. I love things that help be get organized and there are many things to choose from. They also will customize closets which is a nice option. They have sections like "kitchen", "office" etc in case you are looking for a specific area. The containers are all sizes and some come in colors. I particularly liked the "drawers" that came with a clear top. You could stack them but you could see what is inside by looking at the top. If you are looking to add storage, they have rolling carts or just various sized containers with lids. My home is my office so I was especially interested in the office section. I also found organizers for drawers were useful. The store is quite large and you could spend a lot of time there to see everything. Prices are not cheap but what you can find might be the exact unique solution for what you need. read more

Staff does not need to tell me where to enter your store. I had a young lady tell me to use the mall entrance for employees. I am not an employee for the mall. I left work early to bring medication for my father who was near the container store entrance. Chill out lady. Get used to people walking through your store that may not buy anything or perhaps be in a hurry due to an emergency. I came in here looking for some storage shelves for my newly refurbished closet. Let me tell you, this place doesn't mess around. You need some storage space or containers for your stuff, this place is chock full of them. There are containers everywhere. Towards the east. Towards the west. Containers for your toys. However, the best thing about this place is that you'll often find products that you never thought you would ever need before, but they are there for you in case you need it. Case in point, I bought a portable cart that will help me easily store and move around my photography equipment. It will save me a lot of time and energy when I move them around my studio. I was at the Container Store today with my husband. We got a few plastic containers and we were looking for something to hang a bike on. Not one person greeted us or asked if we needed help even though 2 people walked by us at different times. However, a group of employees were able to talk and laugh with each other. I have gone to this place twice now with storage problems and both times I left happy and content. This time I had ants getting into the house and eating the dogs food. All I had to do was mention dog food and they took me directly to an aisle with several options. Air tight and weather proof containers big enough to hold up to 50 lbs of dog food. I was pretty impressed by the selection of items they had at the store. I was picturing it to be mostly bins and huge storage buckets. My wife and I weren't looking for anything in particular. Then we came across some amazing sealable jars for flour and sugar. We haven't had them for long but they seem like they are great quality. They are plastic and have clamps on the top so the lid doesn't come off. They were reasonably priced ($10 each), however I did see a lot of other items that I thought were very over priced. Worst costumer service I've ever received. Don't know about the quality of the products. They may have a lot of stuff, but it's only applicable with their shelves etc. Not really a store to go grab what you need. I'll never spend a cent in your store after the treatment I received, while trying to solve a storage issue. When someone comes in, it's never good to assume things about that individual based on appearance... right? Well that's what I got and to let you know I would have spent thousands to get things done on the spot. Now, I'll make sure my friends and family never shop here... unless they want treatment based off personal assumptions, overpriced nonsense and rude customer service. I love this store and frankly, it's one of the reasons we moved to Oro Valley. Perhaps odd to some, but I am a compulsive sicko when it comes to organization. The CS has thought of most everything and even though the products are a bit "dear" as my grandmother used to say, they are worth every penny as they WORK, they are well made (USA!) and the CS stands behind all their products. I am disappointed with TCS custom closet service. I scheduled an in-store appointment and arrived on-time. The design representative was late so I approached a salesperson. The salesperson asked for my basic requirements, budget, and dimensions. I was not shown any features, options, or prototype designs. After some time with no sign of the whereabouts or ETA for the design rep, the sales rep did not offer to reschedule so I decided to leave. I'm giving a 2 star review because I like TCS products but recommend spending your time and money on a custom closet at Closet Trends or California Closets. read more

After driving across town, I was so disappointed to encounter a person at the cash register who seemed to take an instant dislike to my husband and me. She was really nice to the young people in front of us but didn't bother to even say hello or smile when it was our turn. I had a lot of stuff, small boxes, etc. and she asked me if I needed a bag, when I said yes, she seemed exceedingly put out and proceeded to jam everything in as if this was just too much. Our purchases at the Container Store have made a huge difference. Even though the prices are not cheap, we saved in the long run by being able to use existing cabinets and drawers. I have been to this store twice in the last 3 months. We are big fans of Elfa shelving and this store (especially Edward) has provided us with everything we need to get organized. They will create the design, walk you through installation or do the install for you. The customer service has been top notch. I just wish it was a less expensive product. However, the Elfa shelving seems to be nearly indestructible so in the log run it does what it is designed to do. And we think it adds value to our home and garage. read more

You can access this store from the mall near Macy's or go in from the outside of the store. It's a potpourri for everything conceivable for practically every room in your house including your garage. For me personally with the 20% off at Bed n Bath I could do better. But they do have a larger selection in the gadget area. This store has EVERYTHING you could think of to organize all areas of your life!!! I think though my favorite section was the travel section... Anyone who travels frequently will find that there are so many gadgets and tools to help make packing more condensed and simpler!!! And then for other areas in your life such as bathroom and kitchen organization you will be able to pick items that work with your house... The store has just about every item you may need to organize. However, the one drawback I have is every time I went to this store in Tucson Mall the aisles were crammed with products that the staff was placing on the selves. I still have not been down every aisle because it was impossible with all of the boxes with stock strewn all over. The customer should not have to climb over items while they are trying to shop. We spent close to $600 to organize one room, but our experience was bad. We asked the staff to assemble the carts but this wasn't done. Staff failed to give us all the parts we needed, so we had to go back to store. Then when we assembled the carts, we discovered the baskets were the wrong width, so we had to return to the store for our third visit to get the correct size. Would not shop here again! read more

Great selection though a bit pricey, especially the closet organizers but if you want it, you buy it. As for the folks, they seem very nice. Our checkout guy caused a bit of consternation. We were waiting for a loooong time on line before a second checker was called. We were next so new guy took us. Then he said we would have to wait for him to get our pre-ordered item until he was done checking others. Really? So, we stood there while a woman took an impossibly long time to find her wallet and sign, etc. A tortoise. Oy Vey! Finally it was our turn. There were folks helping others with loading their purchases but he just handed us ours and told us if we wanted to check for damage to go ahead. We did (two large stainless steel kitchen trash cans) and all was fine so we just lugged them out ourselves with two of their carts and loaded the car. Brought the carts back in. He needs a bit of customer service help. Wish I knew his name. I would go back. Nice store. And all's well that ends well! read more
