Small bakeshop right next to a large church and a Freemason accessory store. The name comes from the Scottish nickname for their iconic hairy brown cows and it took us a long time in our trip to realize what a "coo" was.
They have a surprisingly large interior with lots of seating and have baked goods and pasties and to-go sandwiches on the other which are prewrapped and ready to grab and go. We stopped by for coffee and a light breakfast before heading to a farmers market. They had a fake plant wall in the back with their logo in neon for selfies and photograph.
Espresso: Perfect in a tiny to go cup with a lid, gave me the kick I needed to get going in the morning.
Scotish Pie: made with minced lambs in a perfect to go size . We split this with a family of 4 and could have easily did half each to feel more full but we just needed enough to not feel hungry for the farmers market. Nice tender meat and well seasoned. read more
