Food was amazing, service tremendous. Just couldn't say enough about this place. Best biscuit I've ever eaten. The price was just the icing on the cake! Which speaking of cake. We took home a piece of the carrot cake. The frosting was more than plenty and mouthwatering! Don't know when we'll be back , but made some tasty memories

What didn't Ho well is more like it. Pot Roast!! With sweet potato casserole and real corn fritters. Phil had flounder and okra and a sweet potato. Neither of us could finish out food so boxes to go. The pot roast was perfect, they allowed the meat, carrots and potato's blend without overwhelming spices, the sweet potato casserole had pecans and real butter and brown sugar topping. Phil said the flounder was exceptional as was the okra. Seasons mildly to low natural flairs to shine. Pricing was reasonable.

The Copper Pot provided our first southern meal on a recent trip and it was delicious and a great value. I ordered grilled catfish with sides of collard greens, sweet potato casserole, and a corn muffin. The greens were flavorful and had a perfect texture. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender, but a bit undercooked in the center so the server quickly brought me a replacement. The corn muffin was a little dry and small, but tasted great with some butter. Everything was served piping hot. My partner had ham steaks and we also had a slice of carrot cake which did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the leather booths are very comfortable. Definitely recommend for a casual, inexpensive dinner out.

    Incredible pancakes with extra sausage.

Absolutely loved this place! Great food, friendly staff, and the atmosphere felt like home. My son ordered the pancake breakfast and asked us to bring him here for his birthday even though it's two hours away from us! So happy we found this spot on our travels. Highly recommend.

Like a Southern non-Sweet version of a Zeppoli - which was pretty freaking killer!

Traveling up to New Jersey from Georgia from my regular drive I found this place - a few blocks off of interstate 77. Sad there was no chicken and dumplings - which is what caught my eye... but they had green peas and dumplings, which was sublime! Fried Okra, macaroni and cheese and this on freaking believable fried bread, which I thought was just regular rolls - was a sick surprise!

Passing through and waiting for our car to charge. Good food, served fast, and relatively cheap. Would visit again.

Not good food. Very basic and disappointing. Service was good, but would not recommend this place as a hood Southern kitchen.

Sure, there are tables and booths scattered about, but otherwise the dining area feels hollow, without comfort or warmth. Credit to the hostess though for quickly getting a spot for me to sit during my visit, and to the waiter that promptly delivered menus. This is largely a selection of breakfast and brunch items with Mexican influences, and I decided to pick the eggs Benedict with smashed avocado. The wait didn't seem to be all that long, though I did empty a glass of refreshment during that time, and the wait staff were not all that prompt to see it refilled. Additional drinks did eventually arrive though, and the food came not long after. Even with the accompanying side of baked apples, the plate seemed scant in its content. And the flavors were pretty bland too, leading me to wish I'd picked something with more to offer, in addition to a dish with more substance. [That said, the omelets I saw on the plates of a neighboring table didn't seem all that large or visually impressive either.] The food didn't taste bad, mind you. I just didn't get enough in amount, in value or in quality to leave me genuinely impressed. Like the decor, the meal felt like it was a half-empty shell, with plenty of room for more. So maybe I'll go back another time and see if some other selection from the menu has more to offer. Otherwise, Eggies feels outclassed by most any other breakfast-focused dining option in the area. If I want simplicity on a plate, I can find it at a wealth of other restaurants with morning hours, and I can probably get more for my money there. And until I find something genuinely special about what's coming from the kitchen here, I don't see my attention or interest being captured by the relatively pedestrian experience I've had here so far.
