Stayed here for the weekend and had a nice dinner at the Copper Room. The entertainment from The Jones Boys is as good as ever! I wish they didn't change their dress code and kept it as a formal dining restaurant as I find dressing up to be part of the experience of the evening. My husband and I started off with the beef carpaccio appetizer which was excellent. We then had filet mignon which was average although the sides were very good. Creme brûlée for dessert which was a nice way to end the meal. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful and gave us quality service.

The food is alright, but great value. Steak, soup, dessert for $44 per person. Why I am giving them 4 stars is because of the amazing service and brilliant atmosphere. Located in the resort, the restaurant has been around for a while so it has a very retro feel to it. Couples come here and families come here maybe as a tradition to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. It was my parents 30th anniversary, and so we celebrated by getting dressing up and getting dinner here. My sister raves about it's live music and dance floor. They play musical classics while you can go up and dance. They also announce any special occasions and the server will come up to you with a dessert and a sparkler to make your day unique! While there the server also offered to take lots of photos for us and got us anything we needed. Very memorable evening as it's the first time I've seen my parents dance in a while. Also the first time, since being kids, we danced as a family together. Thank you, Copper Room!

We did a 3-night stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort recently, and had booked our room via their 'Senior's Getaway Package' - which included room, buffet breakfast each morning, and one dinner at the Copper Room. This was our first dining at the Copper Room in quite some time - we (same threesome as before) reserved for 5:30 pm, the second (middle) day of our stay. The walk to the restaurant was colourful and festive, with several pretty, seasonal/holiday decorations along the way, and at the entrance. Sorry, did not have a camera when inside (other photos were taken before and after), to show how lovely it was decorated, but it was, and provided such a warm and festive ambiance for our dinner!! Service was friendly, very cordial, and attentive throughout our stay. What we ordered: Mom ordered an entree - prime rib - from the regular 'A-La-Carte Menu' -- daughter and I ordered from the 'Chef's Special Menu' - beef tenderloin entree for she, pork tenderloin entree for me - with a little sharing of the other courses (soup & salad, sorbet, and dessert) amongst the three of us!! :-) Presentations were colourful, and sure perked appetites when each was placed on our table. Preparations turned out to be totally on-the-mark -- soup - warm and flavourful -- salad - fresh, cool, and crispy -- sorbet - cool, and tangy -- entrees (and their sides) tender, juicy, and flavourful -- dessert - sweet delight. We savoured, and so enjoyed each. For us, everything 'clicked' for this dining experience, and we were so glad to have included dinner at the Copper Room in our stay.

Classy restaurant with live music. We came on Thursday night. The restaurant was half full only. Live band started at 7pm. My husband and I are late 30s. We found the song selection "meh". People celebrating wedding anniversary and birthday were acknowledged by the band Food was good. Presentation and taste great. Plate came out warm. Our server didn't really pay attention to us. Maybe coz we have a young kid. At the end it was a enjoyable experience. I would recommend making reservation if going for special occasion and on weekend. And there is a dress code (smart causal )

Total Disaster! We booked a window table for my birthday treat. Table was far from center of room, which we liked, but the waiter (who boasted 17 years experience at this job) didn't come by very often. Our evening started off badly as the waiter screwed up the first drink order (lemon drop served with no lemon?) Then he screwed up the second course of the chef package four course dinner. Sorbet was the second course? I've enjoyed it as a palate cleanser, not a course by itself... So why did we get the main dishes and no sorbet? The waiter then fumbled a weak apology and served food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least 45 minutes. Dried up chicken, dried up sauce, stringy overcooked vegetables. The other meal had melted cheese soaked into and binding up the dried spaghetti. We had sat down at 20:30 and left to speak to the Manager (Travis) a little after 22:00. We were not looking for refund but it was too late to reset or dinner and get fresh food. The manger said he wouldn't comp my meal as "we have very little profit". This is not our problem. Disappointed dinner guest should have been his top concern. We did see a Copper Room discount on our folio at hotel checkout, but by then the damage was done! The room itself is a little dated but well appointed, well maintained and clean. The live band played many cover songs well, which we enjoyed. Even gave me a shout-out for my birthday! This has the potential to be the go-to place; but first the staff need some training, then the menu needs a make-over. Diners deserve better value for the prices charged. Do yourself a favor and skip this one! At every other interaction with the Harrison Hot Springs staff we were delighted. Sad that this one was so bad.

First time in this restaurant and because we had our company's Executive retreat. A great place to unwind with friends and if you enjoy dancing and listening to a live band. I had their Shrimp Risotto which was great and had a Lemon Drop Martini. The place was huge, food was awesome and the servers were all friendly.

The wife and I came here for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday, and there were plenty seats. It is still suggested to make a reservation like we did, weekends can be tricky, I hear. The food was pricy but great. We met/know people who have been going here for decades. There is a mandatory dress code, anything but shorts, tshirts, and sandals/sneakers. We both ordered the chef's special 4 course meal, $44 each. I really like the first course's mushroom salad (I'm a mushroom guy). I tried my wife's beef tenderloin with potatoes, which was perfectly soft and tender, and my steelhead salmon was great with the creamy sauce! The raspberry sorbet was creamy and soft, another of our favorite. Our waitstaff worked with our desire to replace a dessert on the menu with ease. Our drinks were never below halfway empty, even after the place filled with dinner-goers in our 3 hour stay. The live music was great as well. We got the courage to dance a few times after seeing so many do the same. We enjoyed watching some of the professionals dance ( there was a great elderly couple there with their family who were tops). All in all, this is a great adventure to experience with your loved-one. We will return in the future.

What a fantastic and perfect evening at the Copper Room! We came here as part of the Romance Package with the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. We're both in our 30's and the other patrons were definitely a bit older but we didn't mind at all! It was actually quite enduring and sweet to watch all the older couples as they impressively showed off their dance moves on the dancefloor and put us to shame. The live band (The Jones Boys) were spectacular! They played a lot of great covers of hits and were taking requests all night. Our package included a 3-course meal from the Chef's menu, everything was absolutely divine. Hot Rolls and Butter Fresh, hot baked bread (choice of white or whole wheat) with soft churned butter to tie our stomachs before our meal. Butternut Squash Soup It came out piping hot, wonderfully flavoured and the perfect portion. Sorbet Raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palate before our entrees. The portion was generous enough that I opted to not finish and save room for the main event. Black Tiger Prawns A nice play on the shrimp cocktail, these prawns are poached, served with cold sides of edamame beans, enoki mushrooms and a tomato on top of a Japanese sesame dressing. Beef Tenderloin It was cooked perfectly and the quality of meat was incredibly tender. Great flavour! Trout Generous portion of trout! The trout itself was melt in your mouth buttery with the help of the brown butter and capers sauce. There was also something about those roasted potatoes that still has me dreaming about them! Pumpkin Cheesecake What a great, seasonal idea. It was a perfect cap to the night. Service was fantastic and professional. We were well taken care of throughout the night! We will definitely come back! Especially after eye-ing the next table's beef, lobster tail and prawns Chef's platter!

The evening began with the reservation. I called twice to confirm. On the first call, a young man took the booking, confirmed the patio request, and then asked for my credit card over the phone for the 30 dollar no show fee. I declined and asked that he email me so I could provide it securely. No email arrived. I called again and spoke with a woman who assured me everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was told a patio reservation was impossible because they "do not do that." Fair enough, except the patio had an open table for eight. When I asked if we could take it, I was told it was reserved for a walk in. In the three hours we were there, that table remained untouched. Either the walk in was exceptionally punctual in not arriving, or the explanation was simply convenient. Now to the food, which unfortunately did not redeem the plot. Every steak ordered at our table was overcooked, and service pacing was inconsistent. Dishes arrived in scattered intervals, with one meal landing after the rest of the table had already finished. Even on a busy night, timing is part of hospitality, not an optional add on. I can forgive a kitchen having an off moment. What was harder to overlook was the lack of professionalism on the floor. A server's skirt repeatedly rode up to the point that her buttocks were visibly exposed while bending and leaning, including directly outside the glass beside our table. My niece, seated by the window, turned toward a noise and was met with an image no family dining experience should include. My sister discreetly and politely notified our waitress, as one would hope someone would do for them. The issue continued multiple times afterward. There was no manager on duty. We were given the owner's number, and I left a voicemail. If I receive a response, I will gladly update this review. As it stands, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Between the reservation contradictions, overcooked steaks, erratic pacing, and a front of house standard that fell well below basic expectations, the experience missed the mark in ways that were both avoidable and unnecessary.

The other restaurants couldn't even offer GF, so we skipped them, but we wandered here for a drink. It is a traditional hotel seating area. It's loud, it's fairly unorganized, and it's busy so you wait a while. The chairs aren't all that comfy. But the drinks make up for it and like I said, gluten free options were key for me. The food is traditional pub fare mostly, with a few full size options. They are fairly greasy and cooked at the restaurant next door, so the poor waitress has to go pick them up and carry them over in big covered platters. My aunt and mom both got steaks and I just got garlic butter prawns because I knew I was going to end up on food clean-up duty. The garlic butter prawns with ciabatta garlic bread was absolutely delectable!! I honestly wasn't expecting such good food in a hotel restaurant. They were slathered in butter (lol), and it was seasoned perfectly. I wish there was more bread to go with it though. The steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare for my soft mouth and were covered in a pool of a delicious sauce reduction. The bed of mashed potatoes were perfectly smooth and went well with the steak. The vegetables were well-cooked, but pretty plain (the norm for western restaurants). There was a good variety of vegetables though, which I enjoyed a lot! Unfortunately, I don't see the steak on their most recent online menu anymore. It definitely needs to be brought back! Service was impeccable, we were well taken care of by our server. Ambience is typical hotel restaurant vibes--casual-fancy.

I will agree and disagree with some of these reviews from a perspective of a tourist but also someone who eats out a lot. The good: food was good, staff was friendly, ambience was enjoyable sitting outside near the lake in the shade. Family enjoyed the food, especially the fish although our pieces were crumbling and falling apart just touching them to move to other plates. Fries were good, tenders were good. Tartar sauce had a slight honey mustard taste which was a nice change. The bad: prices have gone up since last persons post 9 months ago. Items have increased $2-$3 dollars since then. Someone claiming the burgers were huge and could barely finish half of one, also confirmed by staff they were huge, was not so the case. It was a standard size burger I would compare to slightly shorter than a Big Mac at McDonald's. Other critique was the gravy on the poutine was slightly on the salty side as well. Dining bonus they give you 10% of at picnics ice cream and dessert place that is located next door. Overall it was a nice lunch but will cost you a considerate amount being in a tourist area. While in Hope, we had decided that we were going to try this restaurant during our Harrison stay. Daughter and I found the restaurant had moved to a new location since our last trip, and into a building that we were familiar with, and much larger than the former one they occupied previously. With the signage and all, it looked good to us. We called one afternoon to ensure they would be open at the time we wished to dine, and in a couple of hours were there and settled in for what we hoped would be an exciting new dining experience. We were not disappointed. Our host/server was very friendly, cordial, and sure helpful. We went in knowing quite little about Indian food, but had studied their menu beforehand back at the hotel, and took it with us to the restaurant. We showed her the dishes we had checked off as 'possibles' and sought her suggestions. This worked out perfectly -- we discussed all dishes, narrowed them down to a nice variety, and ordered. For a first time experience, I believe we did very well. We ended up with a rather nice selection of dishes - from appetizers to main dishes - a good variety of introductory tastes, and wonderful flavours. We had ordered 'mild' - the foods were definitely spicy, but about perfect for the three of us. We hope to have the opportunity to dine there again, and now have a good idea on how and what to order, and are looking forward to it. I know one thing for sure, we will each have a samosa - the samosa we shared this time was so good!! Thanks to our host, her good service, and the exciting food we tried, we much-enjoyed our dining experience at the Royal King Indian Restaurant.

The 'Bar' provided an easy to get to destination for us, as it's located where we were staying (= Harrison Hot Springs Resort), and just an elevator ride down from our room to the main floor, and short walk away. We dropped down about 6 pm, chose to sit at an inside table (they do have an outside patio), and after some somewhat 'confused' (= who does what?) table service, order the following: Note- food and drink as described in the menu provided. -- two Old Yale Lakeside Lager drafts, and the following food -- calamari (w/pickled Jalapeño, red onion, saffron aioli) -- dry ribs (Asian spiced) -- chicken wings (ordered teriyaki). Food and drink presentations were fine. Food preparations were 'terrible' (the only really fitting word I can think of) - weird and quite unbelievable flavours and tastes. We ate what we could, and when asked by the server if we wanted the rest 'to go', said 'no', and described why. 'Islands Bar' was a total disappointment to plans for a last evening in Harrison treat.

After spending approx 100$ per order, and ordering 192 times since moving here in 2018, that equals…read morealmost 20 - TWENTY - THOUSAND dollars. In Sushi. I'm a good customer. I tip even when I pick up. Tonight, I'm putting in my order online, which I have done for years and years, at precisely 8:20 pm, and as usual I pick up about 8:45, as has been my mode for years. But tonight - my order is canceled at 8:23 pm as I get a notification "Restaurant is closed". It's Thursday, Jan 8th. Online says they are open until 9pm. I call to make sure it's not a weird holiday, and they answer. Yes - they are open until 9. But they stop taking orders at 8:30. I explain to them that's it is not even 8:30 Now , as we are speaking - and my online order was canceled. The young person on the phone says, 'that's just how it is. But give me your order now over the phone'. Am I wrong to be frustrated that I had already spent 10 mins online choosing from the menu and inputting my choices into the checkout.. another $100 dollar order, to be told to repeat this process while they are 1) still open during the window of receiving orders (before 8:30, tho this news to me), and 2) no apologies, just a reprimand on a policy that hasn't even taken effect at 8:20pm. Not an outrageous order, not a lot - just spendy things. I've always gotten my order in 20 mins, so they would still be open. Anyway - i told her - no - I won't be placing an order over the phone I already spent 10 mins making online and am in checkout. I'm sure this kid doesn't have the ability to fathom someone spending 20k at a restaurant, but I'm sure the managers/owners do. Simple math. Get your policies straight. Fix your online system. Do these things quickly. Your competitor with the same hours are more than happy to take orders at 8:20. Cheam Sushi has had some 'fishy' sushi etc once or twice, but 99.9% of the time they are out of this world, hence my loyalty and hard earned $$$. I would like an explanation why the online system is bouncing back orders at 8:20. I'm frustrated because I was truly looking forward to them tonight, my 1st order of 2026. Not a good start.
