My experience with them was a nightmare! I say my experience with them, but it's more like their experience with me, since they basically forced themselves into my life and apartment. Like vultures, Corcoran swept down and attached themselves to my landlord to represent my old apartment. I cannot believe the way they treat people. When the Corcoran broker, Eric Iannuzzi, led potential tenants through our apartment, everything he told people was complete lies. The poor people who must've moved in after we left have no idea what they're getting themselves into. The photos online of our falling-apart brownstone looked totally fake on Corcoran's website - all jazzed up and total fantasy. My roommate and I watched Eric Iannuzzi lead prospective tenants through the building telling them not one true thing about the place. Then, to make matters worse, my landlord gave Eric Iannuzzi and other Corcoran brokers the keys to our apartment so they could come in whenever! One time, we came home to find our beds had been gone through - like, the sheets were all demolished and pillows were all over the room. I don't even want to know what they were doing! We changed the sheets immediately, obviously. Another time, I was in the shower. When I got out, I found Eric Iannuzzi and some other strange men just standing in my apartment. I had to cling onto my towel uncomfortably and I nearly had a heart attack. Then, another time when we weren't home and Eric Iannuzzi told me they had gone in one afternoon, I came home and found that things had been stolen from us! We were in the process of packing and moving, so our things were understandably out. But with Corcoran, it's total privacy invasion. Eric Iannuzzi or the people he brought into our apartment stole my grandmother's wedding ring, and some cash that was in my roommate's desk!!! The worst part is that I can't even press charges against this jerk or his company because he's such a liar and claims no responsibility for anything. They're awful! It is so horrible that Corcoran treats people like this, as though they are temporarily in charge of people's lives. I wonder if the whole company is as vicious as the Park Slope branch. I will never forgive this company for what their broker and clients did; I felt threatened and unsafe every time I entered my building the last few times I was home. It is such a shame that people believe Corcoran while Corcoran is really just trying to rip them off. read more

I cannot say enough good words about my experience with Corcoran in Williamsburg BK. My team, Jonathan Tager and Lauren Bella, seriously saved me time, money, energy, anger, and rescued me from a horrible situation. They were able to remedy the problem, quickly, efficiently, and with care and compassion. When it boils down to it, it's about time and money. They saved me both. They were tremendously professional, fast, personable, and best of all... VERY GOOD AT THEIR JOBS. I was working with another Realtor at EXR, and they put me through a miserable situation. My apartment that I was trying to rent sat vacant for three months. Their ineptitude was staggering. I was constantly told, "it is not our fault, no one wants to rent the apartment." Within one week of getting the listing, my dream team at Corcoran, re-listed my apartment, took good photos, had showings and got me a signed lease within one week. They have a great overall reach, a stellar reputation, great clients, and the ability to market apartments so that you get the best price as well as something that reflects market value. My new leasee has great credit, was throughly vetted in application process, and also interviewed by the showing agent to make sure that we are compatable. I have no doubt that this is going to be a great fit. This took a huge amount of pressure off of me. My only regret is that I did not find myself with Corcoran three months earlier. Arogant, not entirely too knowledgeable... our last in the series of Corcoran agents (already forgot her name!?!) acted as if she were the primadona and my wife and i were but minions she had to contend with during her daily pursuit of commission checks. What an unpleasant experience! This youngster made us feel like we were there for her personal (dis)pleasure, and even went as far to claim that 15th St was Park Slope NORTH and that we should really appreciate a truly non-impressive $2600 2BR near 3rd Ave. She went out of her way to make it more than obvious that she knew everything (nothing) best. Yuck. We are left wondering if it was a simple case of delusion of grandeur... or some other deep-seated insecurity that drove the arrogance. Or maybe it's a requisite for a Corcoran agent? Quite possible. Either way, we're starting to think that arrogance comes natural to Corcoran's salesforce... having worked with three of them in the past six weeks. I couldn't recommend Gabi Svec more highly. Not having gone through the process of finding an apartment in New York before, I wasn't sure what to expect. But from the moment I met Gabi I knew I was in good hands. She was prompt, professional and considerate of the type of apartment for which I was looking. Once Gabi showed me the perfect place, she became my biggest advocate. She helped me to complete the application process that day and checked in with me repeatedly over the next week to keep me informed. And after I signed the lease, Gabi followed up with the landlord to make sure that they made all of the minor repairs that they had promised to make. I don't agree with all these reviews above. My experience with Corcoran park slope office is great! The best broker ever wassim Fakhereddine is the best!!!! This man is the real deal, he will make any deal happen, he negotiated an apartment that i wanted so bad, even though it was not that of an easy task, but let me tell you something this agent is the best negotiator, he was very friendly and helped us find the best place, i always wanted, followed up with us like crazy! He doesn't waist your time, he has this crazy instinct of knowing how to match people with places! I will definitely be back, and work with him in particular. wish all the brokers were like him!!! After years of renting and making my landlord a rich man, I decided to take advantage of this beat economy and the Obama $8000 free money grab for cash. So I called around to the agency's in Williamsburg. After a full week of calling three agents called me back. Of the three one was David Nilsen of Corcoran. He asked me about what I wanted and what I expected and then showed me what I could realistically expect. After the months of open house hunting and viewings after work and weekends...we are in contract at a great price and David has been great. Franco Rinaldi is an excellent agent. We listed our Brooklyn condo with him to rent our 2 years running. Not only did he meet our ideal asking rent, but he didn't it in such a respectful and efficient manner. I hired the Corcoran group to help me find a home in Brooklyn. They found me a comfortable 2BD/2BA off of Kent Ave. Brooke Safford must have shown me at least 7 different homes and made sure I found something I liked. She was very professional and engaged in a little humor which I absolutely loved. I felt she was completed devoted to my cause which is difficult to find in a real estate agent.
