The settings within it are so varied and fun to hang out in and explore, and many of our guests came to tell us how gorgeous it was. Moving on from looks, Boojum Tree also has fantastic package deals, which made planning for the wedding so much less stressful from out of state. To have a set of great vendors already included (bar, catering, DJ, and day-of-coordinator), as well as decorations, silverware, linens, chairs, ceremony equipment, etc etc was the best thing and really helped us be present and enjoy our wedding. Our day-of-coordinator, Jennifer, was also incredible! She took great care of us, staying organized, moving around flowers and decorations, ensuring our wedding favors were at each table, coordinating with our other vendors, helping with an emergency dress bustling, keeping us on time, and hundreds of other things that we did not see behind the scenes. She clearly works hard and is amazing at what she does. This was the perfect venue for the best day of our lives and booking with Boojum was the single best decision we made. We cannot sing their praises enough and could not have had the wedding we did without them. We are so thankful to the team that made it happen!

We opted for the all in package where Boojum coordinated with their preferred venders to handle about 90% of the arrangements and for a VERY reasonable price. Everyone brought their A game!! Food was delicious, music was fantastic (even with a last minute DJ swap due to an emergency), and the grounds were stunning! They did everything right. Multiple beautiful backdrops available for the big day. We chose the grand fountain but soooo many other great options. Even the little things. Everyone warned us how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but as soon as we left the ceremony area to the backstage, there was a waiter for my wife and I along with the bridal party with appetizers and drink orders. Jennifer the day of works as your wedding coordinator and she does a fantastic job! Everything was so well run and on time as well. Everyone told me this was the best venue and the best experience they ever had at a wedding and I know it wasn't just them being nice! If you're the type of person who wants to be able to say you got married at Wrigley, fine. But if your focus is the best possible experience for your guests and yourselves, Boojum is by far the way to go!! These guys throw an EPIC wedding and party!!!

We were right up at the stage and during the opening act and main they actually had a beverage/bar cart come through at the security fence which I thought was pretty smart. The number of people packed into the space seemed excessive, and I genuinely question whether it exceeded fire code limits. People were standing all the way back into the bar area. Navigating through the crowd was difficult, and there didn't appear to be enough room for people to exit easily if needed. I've been to this venue since its 2017 opening and had much better experiences, but this event felt poorly managed. I hope they take crowd capacity and guest safety more seriously in the future.

We used the valet parking as the signage was a bit unclear, so it seemed the easier solution than going up and down stairs to find Geordie's. The entrance had the open feeling of a grand house, with the wrought iron staircase and the beautiful ceiling, terracotta tiles and wood furnishings. There was a wedding party in the large restaurant area that we passed on the way to our table in a separate area. The table was set with care and the rose petals were such a thoughtful touch! As a European I was pleasantly surprised by a small velvet covered stool, placed by my side, for my purse: these touches made the evening even more memorable. No rushing to seat more people or a check arriving while still deciding if something else was going to be ordered. I do enjoy a real meal in a real restaurant, with table linens, linen napkins, the proper glasses, the good silverware. Nick was taking care of our table and was very attentive to anything we may have needed. The cocktails we had were the " Ready, Fire, Aim" with rye whiskey, Drambuie, St Remy and bitters, and the "Dr Vincent's Penicillin" with scotch, lemon, honey, ginger and Laphroaig spritz: both were delicious. For the meal I had the Risotto made with Carnaroli rice, oyster mushrooms, truffle and asparagus; for me the risotto was just a bit over but it was creamy and all of it eaten! The Scallop Ceviche was fabulous, thinly sliced served with auicos, sliced jalapeño, leche de tigre : my chile allergy wouldn't let me taste this dish, but my partner ate it all so definitely good :) The main course consisted of the prime Filet for me, cooked perfectly!! to my medium-rare with emphasis on rare, served on pommes purée and enjoyed to the last bite; the other order was for the dry smoked Branzino (sea bass) with olive tapenade, artichoke and tomato: the fish was so moist and tasty, the skin crispy, and was presented beautifully. For dessert we shared the "Milk and Honey" which is a twist on panna cotta with brown buttercream and honeycomb. With dessert I had my usual after dinner espresso with a shot Sambuca to go with it. Throughout that time, communication was outstanding with every e-mail and question promptly addressed. The Grove staff walked us through every step, met every request and every spoken and unspoken need. (For example, light refreshments were provided for the wedding party prior to the ceremony. When they noticed that the guys retrieved the girls' leftovers, they prepared and sent over a huge platter of homemade chicken fingers and fries. This went above and beyond any expectations, but they didn't want the guys hungry.) Guests marveled over the beauty of the entire venue, especially with the glorious sunset and twinkling lights in the trees. The food was absolutely delicious, not your standard event food, and I heard several people remark they had never had a wedding meal this good. Our photographer told us that every meal there was excellent, but our guests especially raved over the almond-crusted chicken tenders, an add-on dish, and the horseradish mashed potatoes. The flow of events from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to cake to dancing to send off was flawless; our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The yard games were thoroughly enjoyed; no one was ever 'bored' waiting for the next event. The decorations and display tables exceeded the bride's vision and everything was carefully packed away at the end of the night for us; Venue at the Grove is truly a full-service wedding facility. They connected us with the best photographer (Tony George), bakery (Sugarlips...people who don't like cake loved it), DJ, bartenders, and Photo Booth people. I could rave endlessly about how pleased we were with everything. However, the biggest difference with this venue is that everyone who worked there truly conveyed that they CARED about ensuring the day was magical for the couple and their guests. Beyond this though, the team behind Mini Social is what stands out at the top of my list - they are truly so unmatched. You won't meet people more committed to making your event magical. I felt so supported by the team and got so much help from them in customizing the setup for my needs, plenty of time for setup and cleanup, and epic communication. They are absolute pros! This is a large venue, perfect for weddings gatherings, and large events. Will come back here again and again just now that it is outside so I can't get a little bit warm in those spring and summer months. Parking downtown is always a little bit difficult, but there were several public parking places you could pay to park at close by.
