    Darts Area

I was there for a small party on the second floor. This space excels in ambiance and overall the second floor makes for a nice event area. We didn't do the ax throwing or darts but I added photos to show what that looks like. Our bartender was friendly and the serving of food didn't take too long. I'd probably give more of a 4.5 rating if i could but im just docking a star because some of the food wasn't that great. The fries and pretzal were delicious but my tomato soup with grilled cheese was underwhelming the soup was more like marinara. The Detroit style pizza was tiny for the cost.

Great spot for a date night and great energy. Axe throwing, plenty of different games and great bar food. Drinks are good as well! I stick with the Spicy Fries and Uno when I go lol.

We stopped by The Corner and had a great time! We had reservations, but it actually wasn't very busy when we arrived. The highlight for us was definitely bingo! It was a blast and added such a fun vibe to the morning, especially for my kids. My daughter absolutely loved the Dutch baby; light, fluffy, and delicious. I tried the avocado toast, which was interesting because it had honey mixed in it; it was a little sweeter than I expected, but still tasty in its own way. Overall, it was a fun, laid-back spot for brunch, and we'd come back, especially for bingo!

This relatively newer addition to Ferndale is an incredible gathering place for the start, end, or entirety of a fun night out! The ambiance throughout The Corner is so fun! Giant Monopoly pieces hang suspended above everyone, which is so incredibly unique! The Corner also boasts super unique types of pizza (pickle pizza, anyone?!) and other delicious items on their menu! Their spicy fries, which we ordered for the table, come with hot funyan dust on them!! Everything we ate here was delicious. The perfect slices of Detroit-style pizza and hilarious and tasty appetizers to boot! But the biggest attraction, to me and I'm sure many others, is the floor to ceiling entire wall at the back of the restaurant that is just chock filled with board games, card games, and just generally games of all sorts! Waiting for your food is officially a thing of the past! You have unending amounts of entertainment in playing any and all games you find interesting from the Wall! Of! Games! Highly recommend you make a reservation for your table, big or small! It'll cost a bit of money to reserve a table, but that way you are guaranteed for 2 hours to be able to sit at the table and both eat and play games! I believe the money goes into footing your bill as well, so no money lost here! Did I also mention that the Corner Bar also has a whole axe throwing area of the restaurant as well???? We didn't take advantage of that this time around, but I came with a big group of 8+ people and we played Hues and Cues before, during, and after our food came, and it was so fun! They also have all the most nostalgic types of dessert as well. My friend was able to order literally a bowl of cereal for dessert from what felt like an unending list of childhood cereals as well. (He went with Cap'n Crunch and whole milk, because there were also literally all the milk and milk alternative options for you too!) THE CORNER BAR IS SO FUN!

The corner takes games to a whole new level. They have axe throwing, board games, trivia, and even Thursday karaoke. There is every board game known to demand and even the opportunity to purchase the ones that you fall in love with. The food is just pretty much new American and I have to say my favorite thing is just their fries. Everything else just is up to par, but nothing extraordinary. The staff at the corner are super friendly and make the ambience just a little bit better every time I come in. If you're looking for an activity and maybe some quick drinks or a bite to eat, I would super recommend the corner.

Come for the darts (or the axe throwing) and stay for the food! I've been here twice in the past couple of weeks; once with co-workers and once with my family. Both times, we have reserved the dart board. With my co-workers, we reserved both "lanes" and with my family, just one. One works well for up to six players, and both works for up to 12. If you have both lanes, you can play two games at once. With my co-workers, we started out playing a game called conqueror, but switched to X01 after the first game, because it's easier. The dart board is computerized, so it keeps score, and provides commentary with memes and funny comments. The food and the drinks are amazingly good! Between both times, people in my party had pizza (the stinger), chicken sandwich, burger, pretzel, cabbage salad, sliders, and spicy French fries. Every single person commented on how good their food was. I mean top notch! And the drinks are well made -- concoctions you wouldn't sneeze at if you were at a craft cocktail bar. We didn't partake, but we noticed that downstairs in the restaurant area, there were dozens (maybe 100s) of board games one could play while eating. So. Much. Fun. I will be back here again for sure! Top notch food, top notch experience.

This place is a good time to hang out with friends. The food is good and you can select games to play at your table. We went on a pretty crowded day, but the service was still great. We got to enjoy each other's company and play games that we didn't have any experience with. Take a chance and try a game you haven't heard of to socialize. It was a great time and I'd do it again.

We visited The Corner for a Friday night out with our toddler, and it was such a great experience! Our server Bisha (spelling may vary) was fantastic -- friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We arrived a little before 5 p.m. to beat the crowd, but by the time we left, the place was buzzing with energy. Special shoutout to Chris, the Game Sommelier, who helped us pick a fun, classic game -- Trouble -- to enjoy with our daughter. They have an amazing selection of games for all ages and group sizes. Total nostalgia trip! Food highlights: Spicy Fries Vegetarian Mushroom Burger The Corner's Chicken Sandwich Mac & Cheese for Noa Everything was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the cider and IPA beers. Upstairs, they offer darts and axe throwing for an additional charge -- perfect for date nights or larger groups looking for a bit of competition. What we loved: Large selection of games Spacious layout Great food and drinks Outdoor seating Stroller-friendly space Friendly staff who were accommodating with kids Noa's rating: 4/5 She loved the games and her mac & cheese -- though she thinks it could've used a little more seasoning! Things to note: No dedicated kids' menu, but they were flexible and made half portions for us No changing table in the men's restroom (there is one in the women's) Overall, The Corner is a perfect mix of family fun and grown-up enjoyment. We'll definitely be back!

Went for Sunday Bingo and brunch. Bingo was free to play and so much fun and some good prizes! Laid back games with TVs that show the game designs to win. Everything on the brunch menu looked good but we tried the breakfast pizza and the Corner breakfast. Both were pretty big portions and tasty! They also had a giant wall with any game you'd like to play and someone available to help you with what or how to play. Will be bringing back people again.

Vegan chili, Asian salad (half?! It's huge!), and bag of fries
    Tess S.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and was promptly seated at a booth in the bar. The vibe is really cool, a wall of board games to choose from free of charge to play during your visit. We ordered the brisket sliders, a bag of fries, a half Asian salad, and a vegan sweet potato chili. EVERYTHING except the chili was amazing. And the server comped the chili when she noticed we only had a couple bites and didn't want to take it home. My husband wants to come back to try the Mac and cheese.

Awesome bar with games! Great food too! Place has the ability to be outside or inside. We had a reservation and fun fact you don't get your $8 back or put towards your meal to reserve recommend shooting your luck and trying to get a table. Place was busy but not too crazy for a Saturday night. I got the Mac n cheese brisket absolutely delicious!! They have a wall of board games to choose from while you eat. Great place.

I love this place! Great place to gather. The most enormous amount of games I've ever seen. Plus, the Axe throwing is on point. So easy to do, not easy to get a bullseye, ha! And an extensive alcohol selection, highly recommended!!

I can't rave about this restaurant enough. This was our first time coming back since COVID and somehow this place got even better??? Our food was incredible. They had creative spins on regular food, such as funyun dust sprinkled over spicy fries and a grilled cauliflower steak wrapped in a pita pocket. The drinks were strong and delicious as always. There were SO many things I need to try next on the menu, like the pickle + alfredo pizza. We went on a Friday night a couple weeks ago and the service was excellent. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to get us an excellent seat in the outside area. I feel horrible I can't remember her name, but to the manager--the woman with the thread hair braids is one of your best! We finished off with a brownie and ice cream dessert that was too massive to finish for two. We were in too much of a food coma to get around to playing a board game, but we'll be back for sure. An absolute gem of Ferndale, get down here ASAP!

Absolute smallest $12 pizza imaginable. The pie was basic and nothing special. Left feeling very ripped off. Wouldn't return or recommend.

Walking in, the black and gold nuances strike you immediately and sitting at the bar, watching each drink being made is really quite fun. Their cocktail menu is absolutely spectacular. What a wide range of choices with all the major types of liquor available in one form or another. My bartender developed the program and she was super knowledgeable about it. I didn't try any of the food, so I can't comment on that, but for a pre or post dinner cocktail, I can definitely say this was an awesome spot to come out to.

As we followed our greeter to our table I kept screaming in my mind "no no no no no not that table no!" and she sat us at a table in full blasting sun. Nevermind the fact that there was a whole shaded section in the back part of the patio area. The rest of my group said it was fine and a beam of sun slowly bore a hole through my chest. Drink orders were up. I ordered a fabulous cross between a Moscow Mule and a Mojito. A+++ for the drinks. Mine was loaded with fresh mint from their garden. Same grade for our waitress who explained the drinks in detail and ended with "ugh- are you sure you want to sit at this table straight in the sun?" The other two said it was fine. I was ready to move, but was out voted. She continued to check in regularly and brought extra water. Most items on the menu were hot. I considered the fish, but we all landed on appetizers and we would just bounce from place to place for bites and drinks. We ordered the charcuterie board and the lavender lemon whip with bread and cucumbers for the 3 of us. The charcuterie board was the large version and had minimal offerings. It wasn't full and pretty. It was little piles of each thing on a board. This one definitely wasn't making it into Better Homes and Gardens magazine. There was a little pile of mixed nuts, a little pile of lose green grapes, a little pile of lose red grapes - not all grapes pristine or large and none were on the vine. There were 3 little piles of cubed cheese and 2 types of sliced sausage and sliced pepperoni. There were 8 crackers that were wheat thin size. This matters because we had some onion jam on the board and a nice serving of mustard. There really wasn't anything to put them on except for the 8 little crackers. That part was weird. These weren't elevated offerings. I could have picked up any of these at Walmart. They were not elevated quality either. We also got a lavender lemon infused whip which was their answer to tzatziki sauce. It was excellent but again, we were given so much of the sauce without a bunch to put it on. The cucumbers were sliced lengthways and there was a lovely bread that tasted like sourdough. There was 6 pieces of bread, and these were not particularly large pieces. A lot more would have been needed to use all of the sauce they gave. The proportions were off. All together the bill was over $100 for the 3 drinks and appetizers. If I ever did go back I won't order food based on what I experienced. There are too many other great options within walking distance.
