We've been coming here every few weeks since they opened and over the last 6-12 months it's been a steady decline in cleanliness and food (not everyone will see my gripes as a negative). Let's start with the cleanliness. Bathrooms have been consistently 4 starts - they are individual rooms for either sex, but that creates its own challenges. No soap tonight. The floors. Oh my. Disgusting. I was thinking it was just our table, but it's tracked all over the restaurant. It is seriously bad. Sticky. Dirty. The chairs are already heavy but with the sticky...hard to move. Update: I stood up to write this and when I moved my shoe almost stayed on the floor. lol. The food. Since the opening the portions have decreased 40% and prices are 200%. I get it - things cost different but it's outweighing the worth. They have also changed up a number of foods or discontinued them all together - I respect some may not see it as a negative. We still come here but it's just far less often...and based on wait times (rarely have any now) it's fairly clear many people feel the same way. read more

Gluten free menu with many options (yay!!!) I had the fajita chicken sandwich and upgraded sweet potato fries. Both were good but the sw potato fries are really good. My dining companion's pizza looked stellar with tons of cheese. If you like terrible service and very mediocre food this place is for you! From walking in at 3:00 with 6 of 30 tables sat we had to wait for the "hostess" to find us a table. The smell of sewer in the air. 10 min later we joined the other 6 tables and ordered drinks and an app. She came back for order and I order the SPECIAL kabobs that the menu says " fri/sat only" she then informs me " we never have kabobs on Saturday, you must come Friday" an intelligent manager would allocate them for both days or change the menu. 35 min later we get main course and ask about app. She says " oh you wanted that?" 5 min later app shows up ( carneasada fries) terrible! We were next to front door and witnessed several aggravated people that came in both to sit and for pick ups. Wrong orders, long waits with empty tables all over. While eating the check comes. Mind you we had to flag people down for refills but the check was delivered. I advise her we wanted desert. She takes check back and runs off. Desert comes and The funnel fries with powdered sugar were dry. We had to ask for the sugar to put on them. After completing the desert it was the only thing truly good. Food was mediocre at best. I would love to tell you how good or bad the food was, but I never got close to tasting it. Last Friday we decided to go to Pasta House in O'Fallon, but found it is no longer in business. Went by the Corner Pub quite a few times and always look for something different. It was about 5:30, it was crowded, but tables were open and the young lady at the desk seated us immediately. We were given menus, and a bearded young man took our drink order. Drinks came out within minutes, and we were ready to order. He proceeded to go to the table next to us and give them their bill. We sat there for over 20 minutes while he chatted with them about his life, and they were telling him about themselves. We made several attempts to get his attention, but whatever the conversation was, it was much more important to them than if we were there to eat. Thankfully we ordered water to drink, so we left. On the way out we told the women at the desk that about the service, they looked to see who our server was, and they giggled. read more

I originally tried this place when it first opened and wasn't a fan (can't remember what I got) so I finally gave it another chance today and it was pretty good!! I got the Ariba burger which was pretty delicious - it's very good if you like spicy food, like me! The fries were also good and seasoned well. I got a side of queso for them and it was a good decision. The brioche bun was tasty but HUGE. The burger was also huge, so I only ate about half before I was too full. It is a bit pricey but the portions are massive (in my opinion) so I think it's fair! When we got there, the hostess sat us at a table but I asked if we could have a booth instead. She said it was no problem but the booths were dirty so she immediately cleaned one off for us and was very nice about it. Our waitress was also kind and checked on us often. She was very attentive to our drinks and made sure to get us refills without us even needing to ask - a major plus in my book! The way it's set up inside is modern and very clean. So excited to have found this place! I've found it difficult to enjoy dining out since having to cut out gluten. The founder of this restaurant has a daughter diagnosed with Celiac disease, so not only is there an extensive separate menu for GF items, there's GF beer, AND all GF items come marked with a special toothpick. I nearly cried when I read the menu. Wait, I can have a burger? Chicken strips or fried wings? A pizza that doesn't suck?! These are actual decent meals, not a sad imitation from a freezer box?? I wish I could express my excitement properly but I won't be able to. Just know that if you're looking for awesome gluten free food, come here. I had the steak fajita bowl with brown rice and it was excellent, featuring tender steak, grilled bell peppers, creamy guacamole. It was a little salty, but I love sodium, so honestly didn't mind. The seasoning overall was delicious. I got a Redbridge lager (1/10, not great) and a Glutenberg Blonde (10/10, very great) to accompany. Service was very nice. Our server was patient and kind, and all staff we interacted with were attentive. Menu prices are what you would expect at a place like this - a bit of a hip pub with a special diet menu. I am quite happy to spend $25/person on a delicious meal, in a cool restaurant, with excellent servers and tons of choices to pick from. This place is really disappointing. I've been there twice in the last month. The first time, we sat on the patio, which is gorgeous and substantial in size. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. While we were there, a friend started a group text with several of our friends to arrange dinner together the following week. We wanted a place with a nice patio to take advantage of the mild weather we'd been having. Our organizer mentioned Corner Pub and Grill, and I said, "Believe it or not, I'm sitting on their patio right now and it's gorgeous." We decided right then that we would have our get-together on the patio at Corner Pub, so a week later I found myself there again. It was a beautiful evening, and our primary reason for coming was the patio. When we arrived, we were told that the patio was closed because of "the heat." It was just over 85 degrees out! What do they do in July and August?!?! Why even have a patio? This was such a disappointment. I actually suggested to my friends that we try another restaurant with a patio that was actually open in the summer, but ultimately we decided since we were already there, we might as well stay. The service was fine but, once again, the food was underwhelming. When it comes to enjoying a nice evening on a beautiful patio, I will sometimes tolerate mediocre food, but I see no reason to go to a place that advertises a patio it doesn't actually use if the temperature is warm, and then can't even serve edible food on top of everything else. I suggest going elsewhere. There are lots of lovely restaurants in O'Fallon, and many of of them have lovely patios that they actually use. This just isn't one of them. read more

Cauliflower rice, loaded with perfectly cooked veggies, grilled salmon and this heaven in a bowl sauce. They say it's healthy and who am I to argue. It's absolutely delicious. First, for a whole wheat bun to be soft on the outside and toasted to buttery perfection on the inside takes some effort somewhere. Our niece and her husband was excited to take us to one of their favorite pubs, The Corner Pub in O'Fallon, MO. This is a locally owned family restaurant with 3 locations in the St. Louis area. We took advantage of the Yelp waitlist knowing how busy it would be on a Friday evening. My niece was correct and people were standing outside everywhere waiting to hear their names called. We checked in immediately with the hostess but we still were looking at least another 1/2 hour wait. All the staff wore masks and guests were required to wear masks while moving through the restaurant. The hostess was cleaning each page of the menus as they were returned to her and hand sanitizer was provided. The atmosphere is fun and lively, all different age groups appeared to be represented with many families. Bar seating consists of an indoor bar area (21+) with table seating plus a large outdoor bar on the covered patio. The large patio is attractive with low lighting and hanging Edison lighting with sailcloth shades on one end of the patio. I didn't have an opportunity to see much of the indoor seating since we waited outdoors and just walked through on our way to the patio. The wood and brick interior was warm and comfortable with a mixture of seating from low-high-top tables, booths and bar seating. The menu is well known for their gluten free options. The owners' daughter, Hanna, was diagnosed at the age of 7 with Celiacs in 2005. As a restaurant owner his goal was to create delicious gluten free options and to educate the staff in what gluten free is. I would say that goal was met with the creation of several gluten free options from appetizers, sandwiches, wings, wraps and pizza. The menu offers several appetizers from pork nachos, guacamole bites, stuffed shrooms to 4 types of wings. If you want something light 8 different salads and 3 types of soups are options. Sandwiches, wraps, burgers and hand-tossed brickoven pizzas are also on the menu. The pizza looked amazing and I wish I had gotten a pizza to-go so we could have sampled later that night. Our group of five ordered the Fish n' Chips, Bowl of Chili with fries, Baja Fish Wrap and Turkey Club served with your choice of crinkled cut fries, waffle fries, tarter tots, pub chips, vegetable medley or coleslaw. Other sides can be substituted for a small upcharge. Everyone enjoyed their selections and we liked sampling from each others plates. While your waiting for a table or after eating try your hand at Baldango which is located on the patio. My husband and niece played for awhile and it looked fun. The evening was fun, the service was excellent, the beers were cold, the weather was beautiful and it was wonderful catching up with family. read more
