[[Sat.5.Aug.2023 @ 12:30pm]] After my wife and i was finished shopping at Sandy's Bargain Barn @ Waterford Ohio it was time for Lunch, a Work Colleague of my wife recommend going to the Cornerstone Inn Restaurant Beverley Ohio, which we are absolutely glad she did. It was our first time at this Restaurant, once at location, it was a Large standing Brick and Mortar structure that was more in likely built mid to late 1800's, it had Murals of Business name painted nicely on each side and with a regular business sign bolted to front of structure, but a well solid structure. We entered the front of business and was greeted very nicely by female staff and was able to set where we liked, all the Tables, Chairs and Decor was very nice, with a Great Atmosphere, some sort of Irish or etc music was playing lowly, place was very clean. Waitress came to our table to take our orders which only took them about at most 15minutes to bring our food to our table, both waitresses was so very kind, it was a very comfortable restaurant. Our food tasted so Delicious, it was cooked and prepared with perfection, the pricing there was spot on not to less and not to much $$. Downstairs they have a Meditation/Prayer room, where if you have any Family/Friends or Yourself that may need a Prayer, you have the Opportunity to write it down on slip of paper and put it down thru the slit on Prayer Box and later on a Pastor will stop by a Pray over the PrayerBox with all the Prayers in it. I have to say "If in the Beverley Ohio area, do not pass up this Restaurant". Note: they make a Delicious Vanilla Ice Coffee! read more

Husband ordered fish and fries. Fries were cold and greasy. The fish was not crispy. I ordered the chef salad it had turkey and way too many chunks of ham. The prices are ridiculous 15 or so a plate for barely edible food. Not good. I will not be back or waste my money. read more

Their goal is for you to be at home eating mom's cooking. Well, they cook a lot better than my mom!! Will definitely be back. Even though it's a 3 hour drive. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. 99 out of 100. We need to try dinner or breakfast next. read more

I was in this small town to visit a jobsite. I needed somewhere for lunch and to type up some work reports. This little restaurant had an amazing ambiance. The staff was friendly and inviting. I had the fish and chips, and the fish melted in my mouth. The carrot cake was wonderful, with a thick rich frosting. Every small town should be so lucky as to have restaurant like this! read more

One of our area's best kept secrets. Although I don't think it is a secret anymore. They have built up quite a reputation. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. Everyone that works there is friendly. The decor is beautiful, clear down to the piano in the corner. My favorites? Chicken salad croissant! I could eat this daily! My husband and I agree it is the best clam chowder we have ever had. This is a great family restaurant that I will continue to support in the small community. read more

Tried this place out the other night on the advice of a friend. It might be one of the best kept secrets in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Definitely gets props for the tastiest and tallest open-face roast beef sandwich! Worth the 40+minute drive from PKB. This plate was $10 and there is no tipping here. Any gratuity is donated to a charity. They've done a fantastic job renovating this place, nice woodwork and old original brickwork. read more

We were driving through this area around dinner time after spending the afternoon and beginning of the evening on the back roads of Southeast Ohio. We wanted a place where we could have a relaxing dinner and decided to give The Cornerstone Inn a try. I'm so glad that we did! The food was excellent (I enjoyed Mother's Grilled Turkey Sandwich -- I'm probably getting the name a bit wrong but it had cranberry-sage mayo and was wonderful) and the prices were very reasonable for what we had. The fresh-cut french fries were great and the desserts -- particularly the homemade ice cream sandwich -- were also very nice. We all also enjoyed the aesthetic of the place. It was very attractive and comfortable and, well, homey. There was pleasant quiet music playing and my son enjoyed having the opportunity to help bring the food out to the table. (There was a paper noting that children are encouraged to help with the serving while dining here!) At the end of the meal, we all helped bus the table. A fantastic and memorable experience. Very recommended for anyone passing through this area looking for a good meal in a slightly atypical restaurant setting. read more

Fantastic restaurant! Our family went here for a late lunch today when we were in town for a family event. Great home cooked food that was made very well. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Great atmosphere in a charming dining room. The owner made several visits to our table to ensure everything was just right. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the desserts, but they looked fantastic. Best restaurant in Beverly. This is a restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere, friendly waitresses, and most of all: excellent food. I have ate there several times: sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch, and sometimes dinner. I have never had a meal yet that wasn't exceptional. Excellent omelette, great sandwiches, and great salads. They do not allow tipping at this restaurant. All money left at table is donated to charity. read more

This is a beautiful historic building with very friendly helpful staff. I missed breakfast (served until 11), so had lunch. No vegetarian options on the menu except salad. Ordered a Reuben without meat. Sandwich was ok- fries were good. read more
