When we arrived, we were told the studio was over an hour behind schedule because one employee arrived late and another did not show up. Due to the delay, we were forced to cancel the appointment, as my daughter would not have been able to complete the shoot before leaving for the airport. All we received was an apology. There was no accommodation, rescheduling priority, or compensation, despite the inconvenience and financial loss. The cost of the makeup alone exceeded the price of the photo shoot, making this experience especially frustrating. Scheduling and staffing issues happen, but when clients invest time, money, and careful coordination for a meaningful moment, better accountability and customer care are expected.

I did find 2 pairs of pants that were on such a hefty sale that I only spent $20 for both, but I really don't think it was worth the terrible experience.

The employees all over the store were so friendly and kept asking if we needed help with anything. My girls enjoyed the Easter activities and the prizes they won. We also purchased a few items and were shocked by all the sales they had going. The clearance section didn't disappoint either. The store was also very well organized. One notable difference is that there's Kohl's cash to help ease the pain. JC doesn't even give up a Penney. And when you find a live human that could help, they avoid eye contact. If you do manage to make contact, they give nonsensical answers to straightforward questions, like "What sizes do you stock in men's suits?" and "Why do certain sizes show online as being in store?" I'm done. I love some of their products but shopping in store is not worth it.

The girls tried everything from constant asking to sneaking a box in the her purchase pile. The purchase price probably may have too high but funny to see the girls try their best. Ultimately I decided on the Camille Rose bantana oil. Upon checking out, LaDawn , Ken and I had a wonderful conversation. They let me know that they had only been at the location for about nine months. They let me know that they also provide booths for braiders and locticians which are AMAZING in itself. The selection is very much the same, although there is no produce or food aisle. You'll also not find a refrigerated or freezer section for food, but you will find sugary snacks. After looking around, you can see evidence of the Asian influence in many of the kitchen wares, decor, and miscellaneous items throughout the store. One odd thing about this place is that nothing is priced, but there are price guides on every aisle to let you know what you're going to be paying. Basically this is just another Dollar General (and there's one of those located just a few hundred feet away in the same shopping strip) with an Asian twist where the prices just aren't worth the cheaply made merchandise. A special thank you to Juliana for the beautiful job she did on my lashes. She is incredibly talented, pays attention to every little detail, and somehow knew exactly how to make my lashes look natural while still giving them that extra "wow." I left feeling so confident! This time I decided to try the Purple Light Experience, and I'm so glad I did. I actually fell asleep! And I experienced zero irritation! Also, I don't have to wait 24 hours to get them wet! If I want to go for a swim, I don't have to wait! One of the biggest benefits for me is that this method should make my lashes last much longer. Instead of feeling like I need a refill every two weeks, I can now go three to four weeks between appointments. As someone with a busy schedule, that extra time is such a blessing. Her aura is amazing, her work is incredible, and she's the reason I decided to stick with it. I am a new mom so this was the first time I've done something for myself in a long time and she made the experience phenomenal.
