This is the first beauty supply store I've been into where the staff doesn't profile you and follow you around the store. Small store, but packed with all kinds of black hair products. I specifically was coming into this supply establishment to get a wide tooth comb since I lost my other one. Luckily, they had a wide selection of combs and brushes for various hair textures. They have the standard wigs and weaves, including a chick who will direct you to where things are so you aren't looking like a lost puppy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There's a minimum $5 charge on a credit card if you choose to use that. I used cash for pay for a $3 comb. I had a pleasant experience. read more

I don't like this place. When I first moved here I would go to this store all the time because I didn't know of anywhere else. They Try to "help you" so much that it almost seems like they are rushing you to pick something & get out to prevent stealing. I'm the type of girl that likes to buy /try new things. If I want to spend 45min in the store looking I should be able too without being rushed. Even at the new location they have a huge sign on the door saying "no huge purses" . I'm a girl that LOVES big purses . The new location is convenient for me because it's right across from my job. BUT I don't like them. I came in for just wig shampoo, came out with more. This is my first experience with this store and I have to say, thank you Lisa for your help! I have a usual place to get my wigs but they are closed for now. This place also has a nice selection of wigs, different extensions, DIY sets for wigs, etc. and also has lashes, accessories, makeup. Needless to say yes I am one lost customer, it may not shut down your business however arrogance eventually will. I called the I 35 location to see if they had the brand hair I was looking and shared my experience about the other location from yesterday (very respectfully) the store clerk had the nerve to call me back a hour later and say the owner said don't come back. Instead of apologizing about the poor customer service, she retaliated that I shared my bad experience. Very poor business ethic. Our people must do better. One monkey has never stopped a show. Usually I have great experience but I brought a product and literally went to my car when I realize I brought wrong product; the store refuse to take item back. I would have settle for an exchange or store credit since I shop their frequently. Most beauty supply stores will work with but now I drive into Austin or Pflugerville for my beauty supply needs. Used to get my crochet hair from an Asian beauty supply store close to my house but decided to start supporting Black owned businesses. I have been to this store twice to purchase some crochet for my daughter and the staff was very helpful and polite . Decided to go today to get a similar ombré color hair for my daughter again . The owner this time was there and said she's never had that color. I showed her a picture of my daughter with the hair on her head and I suggested maybe she's run out , she adamantly denied ever having the hair and that I purchased it somewhere else. Guess I am the liar who spends her money and lies about it . All she had to say was " I don't have that color, you mind choosing a different color ".
