There were two employees behind the counter. Both of them walked past me at least half a dozen times seemingly avoiding eye contact while they went about their tasks. The younger one, a girl who couldn't have been older than 20, was facing me, slicing sandwiches inside the case. The older lady put some deli meat away and then she was walking back and forth over and over looking like she was looking for something to do, anything but actually help the customer standing there trying to get some assistance. I waited patiently for several minutes, and in that time neither deli employee so much as acknowledged me. Not one word. And there is no way they didn't see me. I'm 6 feet tall and I have never felt so invisible. My daughter didn't get her seafood salad and left the store in tears. Abominable customer service.

Worst experience of my life. I usually buy from this brand…read moreonline, so when I saw the store in the mall, I decided to go in and check it out. Big mistake. You can barely see anything in the store. Imagine walking into a clothing store where you can't clearly see the items or even their colors. The lighting is unbelievably bad. The staff member was friendly and opened a fitting room for me, but the situation got even worse there. The fitting room was completely dark. I literally couldn't see the clothes I was trying on--or even the clothes I was wearing. It took me about 10 minutes just to put my own clothes back on. Is this brand trying to save money on electricity? What is going on? This is unacceptable for a clothing store. I left the clothes there and will never buy from this brand again--not in-store and not online.

My friend is an Ann Taylor fan, and I went there, but found much more at the LOFT. The clothes here fit me wonderfully and are totally my style. The sales clerks are helpful and I didn't have a "hounded" experience like others have claimed (granted, I have only been here three times). I like the dressing rooms and the people working them are so friendly and never get annoyed when I "pass" on a item. I love the layout of the store and the clearance rack is mighty with a great selection and excellent value.

My big issue is that they only had a handful of items that were actually down, most things were 100% polyester fill but priced like they were down. They did have a lot of sizes even in the clearance section.
