Cid and Francesca started Cape Art Tiles in 2009 in their basement, as suppliers of printed tiles to local artists. Over the last decade the company has grown to include both a retail shop and a production studio in Provincetown, MA. Their product selection has grown to include various sizes/finishes of tile, trivets, key and coat hangers, glass cutting boards, clocks and more. Additionally they offer customer custom products, using their image/logo. Both the shop and production are open seasonally from April to January.

Within a few weeks I had a problem with the necklace and being many hours away from P Town I contacted Rene the owner by phone. He handled the issue, text book perfect! He was absolutely fantastic. I ended up sending him the necklace back and he had a whole new necklace made special, just to make things right! In a world where so many people and business never take any personal responsibility... a world where so many businesses say they will do this and do that. When you walk through the door, it's clear this is so much more than a gift shop. Every corner is filled with wit, warmth, creativity, and a deep love for Provincetown and the queer community. Adam's artwork makes me laugh, makes me think, and reminds me of why this place has a special place in my heart. I had the privilege of asking Adam during my last visit to sign a linen bag. He graciously did, and it made an already memorable visit even more meaningful. I may have left fanboying a little. As a gay man, I have enormous respect for those who came before my generation--those who lived through Stonewall's legacy, the AIDS crisis, and continued creating spaces filled with hope, resistance, resilience, joy, and authenticity. Adam's work reflects that spirit. His messages celebrate queerness, courage, kindness, and the importance of being unapologetically yourself. If you're visiting Provincetown, don't just stop in to shop. Take your time. Look around. Read the messages. Support artists who have helped shape the soul of this remarkable town that rekindles hope, reignites the embers of resistance, inspires courage, celebrates queerness, and gives us the will to keep going. The merchandise was great..lots of fun LGBTQ+ items...from postcards to buttons to t-shirts to sweatshirts...and much more....their online store is open all year round and there you can access any of the merchandise available at the store. AVOID THIS STORE!! If I could rate this store a negative 5, I would! This is the absolute worst…read morestore I have ever been in and the owner is the most despicable example of a human being I have ever seen. My daughter and 2 adult granddaughters along with my 11 year old grandson were shopping in the store. My daughter was in the process of selecting hoodies for my grandson which he just loves. My grandson was with one of his sisters and they came across some small bells which my grandson proceeded to ring just a couple times. Prior to my grandson ringing the bell, a couple other customers had rung the bells. The owner promptly YELLED ACROSS THE STORE TO STOP RINGING THE BELLS! Stated he was the owner and ringing the bell once was okay, but more than that you could leave the store. The worst part of this is that my grandson has Down Syndrome and was very aware that he was being yelled at and was quite upset. When my granddaughter told the owner that he has Down Syndrome, the owner stated "sorry" with no sincerity what so ever. Setting aside the fact that he has Down Syndrome, is that how customers should be treated? My daughter dropped everything that she was going to purchase and we left the store. There were also four other parties of customers in the store at the same time and when they heard the owner yelling, they immediately left the store as well. It was great to see support like that! My sweet grandson kept telling his Mom that he was sorry and we reassured him that he didn't do anything wrong. We tried to not let that ruin our day, but it weighed heavily on our minds to think that such a rude and ignorant ass could be a shop owner and be so disrespectful to customers. My last word is "KARMA" and it can't come soon enough for that poor example of a human being. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE!

The selection of tees, shirts, sweatshirts, souvenir items, mugs, keychains, etc is probably one of the largest in Provincetown. We were looking for a sweatshirt and when we asked one of the guys, he took us to the section and showed us what they had available. Great customer service...good prices and sale items often.

Western inspired clothing and gifts made this the perfect stop for carnival week, which happened to have the theme of "Wild, Wild West." This place has everything from western clothing, belt buckles, hats (one of which was graciously purchased for me by my fellow yelper Dawn-- loves her!), and they even had a very anatomically incorrect pre-Columbian fertility statue. The staff and owner made this one of my favorite stops during my entire trip. We laughed and laughed for a good amount of time with the staff, a welcome respite from the stuffy, holier-than-thou shopkeepers and retail staff found in a few of the other Provincetown establishments. I feel this is a must stop while in P-town and it is also lesser known since it has only been open for five weeks. Do yourself a favor and mosey on down the walkway next to Patio and venture into the little shop. Say hello to the owner and smile, they will do the rest and make sure you have a pleasurable shopping experience.
