Not my first visit here but my first review. Holy cow - this place is fantastic! We've purchased a LOT of items over the years - ornaments, lighted houses, vases, etc. The staff are wonderful- especially Nathan this trip who went above and beyond to search for the lighted street scene (photo attached). In addition to all major holiday items, they have a Christmas Village based on a New England town. It's old but that's part of the charm (pics of previous visits attached). They have tons of christmas decor, which includes traditional and whimsical selections. It was nice to stroll through and window shop. Some of the items seemed overpriced for the quality. I was not greeted or spoken to by any staff members, nor did they seem to be cheerful either. Seems like such a "Christmasy" place should be staffed by those who are happy and friendly to all people entering and shopping...you know--keep you in or put you in the mood to shop. read more

Holy cow - this is NOT your typical Christmas store. We went in July and totally put us in the Christmas spirit. They have everything Christmas (and Hanukah) related. Staff are super nice. Prices are good, too. Highly recommend. read more

Wow, this might be the largest Christmas Store I ever visited. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of decorations available to purchase from lights, ornaments, figurines, Byers Choice Carolers, Nutcrackers, games, books, etc. I have not checked it out, but they have a website where you can purchase items from their store directly. They even have a walking Christmas Village in the middle of the store. I would visit every time I am in the area. Such a great store! read more

I did not visit the store, but placed an order online. The electric window candles I bought were the very best price anywhere, and shipped quickly. There happened to be a candle missing in one of the boxes, and immediately the Loft sent me a replacement. I will definitely shop from them again, and highly recommend. read more

BEWARE when purchasing any item from this shop that is listed as LAST ONE AVAILABLE!! I ordered. Ditz Hen House collector's Santa Clause from them which was LAST AVAILABLE!! Santa arrived with missing tree red birds along with the damage to the lantern he was holding and a remote that was loose in the box that doesn't work!! I contacted the owner, Steve who informed me that this Santa was on display in the shop and more than likely lit up for display! Paying over $1200 for Santa and not being told that it had been displayed is ridiculous! He is basically selling USED products as NEW from the maker! The only thing he could offer me was a CHEAP 10% discount or return back to the shop!! I opted to keep the Santa being they are hard to find being they are collectors items! I contacted the maker and they totally agreed that he was in the wrong by not telling me HE had reboxed the Santa being HE had used it in his shop as display! Spend your money elsewhere!! read more

You will not find a better Christmas shop in New England, and probably mush of the US. This place is very unique. It is 100% Christmas themed from the time you walk in the door. They have the standard made in China stuff but they also have a good supply of made in the US as well as other places around the world. That is to say that it is not by a long stretch a place that only sells cheap products. This stuff it fantastic and fun. read more

We happened to come across this place just by driving down the road. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised at how big it was. The center of the store had a Christmas village complete with trees and "storefronts" along with Christmas Trees. The rest of the place was divided into rooms that seemed to have themes. For example one room had nutcrackers and another room licensed ornaments. This as a great place to visit. I purchased an ornament and thought the prices were fair. Being from Michigan (home to Bronners-the largest Christmas store in the world) I have seen a Christmas store or two. This wasn't Bronners but still got the job done. The Christmas loft was awesome!! Great for adults and kids of all ages! This past thanks giving weekend was my first time ever going to he loft! I live in VT. Damn I sure did miss out when I was a teenager! I could have gone a few times but never made time for it. Until now! When ya first walk in you will see these HUGE doors! They are easy to open but I just wanted to point them out! For some reason I like them! They add a nice touch on the building. I will have to upload some photos of it on my next visit! As you enter the building you will come into an area thats filled with fake houses, animated families and what not celebrating Christmas! The mini town even comes alive with Christmas lights and animated people moving! This is GREAT to see! The kids will love it! Same goes for us adults! After this you can then start entering other small rooms with a TON of Christmas ornaments! Many of them are hand made and looks great! Each room also all most holds a little theme. Such as baby, religious, and classic ornaments! My favorite room of them all is the one with all of the small buildings that light up and look like a huge town! They got everything from flying planes to the ice skaters! The city comes to life in front of your eyes! This is a MUST SEE for the kids if you bring any! The room is a good size! Its very cool to watch! Reminds me of the window you see in "The Christmas Story" in the beginning with tinker toys! Its a must see! They also offer services such as personalizing your ornaments for a small fee! Its a great way to turn Christmas into a holiday to remember with one ornament! So over all the Christmas loft is AWESOME! Even to just look around! The mini town and small cites comes to life right before your very eyes! There is a ton to look at! SO take your time and enjoy looking around! Its a store you could spend a good hour in easy! If you live in VT and have not gone yet GO! Its alot of fun! Such a cute little place to explore! I wish they had more baby or customizable ornaments, but it's also nearly summer! Would love to come back in the winter to see it again. They have a huge selection of ALL types of ornaments, Christmas displays and other figurines. Prices were high, but it was to be expected. Where else can you find a Mexican Fiesta restaurant for your Christmas Village? I had to take a few photos in the village they had set up in the middle... Really cute. read more

Terrible "customer service". Store is under new ownership and clearly that's a downward spiral. I purchased an expensive tree stand from here last year and loved it. We went to use it again this year and the whole base snapped off completely! You would think for a stand costing $70...it would have more than 1 year in it. Tried to get the store to help resolve the iss. I was first hung-up on. Then when I finally spoke to Assistant Manager all I got was "We are sold out. Try and find out who made it and call them". Really? There's no brand name on the stand. How am I supposed to go on a wild goose chase when the store, who bought it from SOMEWHERE, can't tell me where it was from? Don't bother. A store like this should pride itself on customer service when there's the entire internet with better prices & selection. read more
