I stumbled across the courtside lounge while walking around Santa Monica. This place is walking distance from 3rd street promenade and Santa Monica pier. I'm so glad I decided to stop by and dine in. Party of 2, open seating at the bar. We arrived at a good time, no crowd no wait. The westside drink (vodka base) was really good and I highly recommend the truffle pizza. The truffle pizza was the best truffle pizza I've ever had..... made fresh to order and absolutely delicious! Huge shoutout to the general manager, Saad (I hope I spelled his name correctly). He was very friendly and attentive and made our dining experience wonderful. The bartender was also great and made really good drinks! The are plenty of TV's in case you want to catch a game and the sports decor around the restaurant added the perfect touch. Plenty of parking structures near by. I will definitely dine here again. The Courtside Lounge is located in Santa Monica - two streets away from the Promenade and one block from the Santa Monica Pier. It recently opened in Feb of 2026. We decided to stop by for our second dinner and watch the FIFA World Cup soccer game. The inside had multiple screens. For food we ordered the following: 15 Mango habanero chicken wings = 4.5/5 (Pretty good!) Truffle Parmesan French fries = 5/5. (Yummy!) Creme Burlee = 2.5/5. (Very basic) There is outside seating as well with heaters and another TV. There was only one bartender, one hostess and one server. They were under-staffed, still service was good and we didn't mind waiting since the game was on. A fun place to eat and drink while watching sports. If you're walking down to the Santa Monica Pier, this is a great place to stop. We happened to walk in right before 5 PM and were able to catch their happy hour deals. A quick heads-up on the drinks: if you order the Tequila Smash, it's SPICY SPICY! They use four jalapeños, and it definitely shows. Too much for me to finish, though my partner was willing to drink it (he agreed it was def spicy though). If you want something safer, their Gin & Tonic & a lime was solid and refreshing!! First things first, this place is amazing. The location walking distance from the beach. The ambiance detailing the great sports lore of Los Angeles. You can tell that there was care and intentionality in how this place was curated. Though not exactly spacious in nature to host events for live games, the patio also is a nice touch. - The service was impeccable. I was greeted early and tended to often. The menu is that of a sports bar in that there isn't a lot of creativity there, but they do offer some great deals and the food/drinks are delicious. - The main quip is that a restaurant/bar called COURTSIDE didn't have BASKETBALL!! Stopped by this lounge with our pups on Valentine's Day for a little night cap. They had a soft opening and we were impressed with the service. We have returned multiple times since. Service was great, GM was friendly and welcoming, bartenders checked on us multiple times. We've had their burgers and wings each time and it has always been delicious! The place is spacious, clean and chill. Whether you want to grab some drinks with friends or have a nice meal with a nice cold beer after some shopping. Apparently Stacey and Nate only leave 1 star reviews on this app and that's disappointing. With so many businesses closing down in Santa Monica, we should be supporting places to stay open. read more

I love a good sports bar and this one is close to me so had high hopes. PROS: employees are friendly. They have happy hour 12-5pm every day where draft beers are $5-$6. When I was there they were playing the sound of the game. CONS: The TV setup is very poor. The only TVs are above the bar and if you sit at the bar, the TVs are too close and too high and you strain your neck having to watch. They have two big walls on the east and west side but they have no TVs. The most important thing for me at a sports bar is a good viewing experience and for that reason I would not return. read more

My friends and I hit up Courtside for some March Madness and the food and drinks were bomb! We ordered 4 shots 2 drinks a beer, Korean tacos and their special fries and it was only $105. Coolest part was the wheel they have. For every $35 you spend you get to spin this wheel and you can win merchandise, free drinks, and/or food. "We can only stream local games" is an actual sentence that was spoken to me tonight when I went to The Courtside Lounge. The game I asked for was being nationally broadcast, and yet they couldn't manage to find and show it. The GM was very apologetic, but the excuse was that they've "only been open 17 days" and are trying to get things set up. Maybe don't open before you're ready? There are a dozen other bars within a 2 block radius that CAN and DO play non-local games, and this business won't last 3 months in this space if they don't keep up. Additionally, the food and drinks are overpriced. I can't speak to the food, because I left before I ordered any since I had to stream the game I wanted to watch on my phone. I wasted $20 on a cocktail that truthfully should have been comped as an apology for not having it together (oh, and it was missing an ingredient because they didn't have prosecco, a very commonly ordered product, in stock). [Editing to respond to owner's comment: I did not go in your first week open, the manager literally said it was day 17. The cocktail cost me $18 with tax and I tipped $2. I'm sorry simple math fails you. Do not try to discredit my experience by claiming I was making up what I paid for my drink and lying about when I went in.
