Best breakfast/brunch with fresh baked good ever! The orange rolls are the best ensure you make it there early to try some!

My husband and I had breakfast at the Courtyard Cafe. It took just under an hour to get our food. His meal was cold to the touch. My meal was eggs with a cream sauce. The sauce was separated and so spicy I could eat because it burned so badly. We complained to the waitress and her response was sorry. No attempt was made to make the food right. We had to ask for our check and waited over 15 minutes to get our credit card back. We had to go to the cashier to get it back. We will not be back. read more

This place was awesome. Food was delicious and customer service was great. It's a small restaurant with a little outside seating, so there was a small wait and few large tables for big groups. Great for brunch and not open all day. Definitely will revisit. read more

I don't know why the line isn't out the door here. I stopped there looking for a late breakfast, but was disappointed to find that I had missed the cutoff time by 5 minutes. Turns out, no problem. I had the Spicy Beef sandwich, with pasta salad for my side and still-warm-from-the-oven Pecan Pie for dessert. I couldn't be happier with every bite. My wife had the Tomato Quiche with garden salad , which came with Pumpkin bread (all of which I tasted, of course). I don't think I've ever had better quiche, and I've had a lot. 5 Stars, would give more if I could. We have now officially found our place to eat when in Fallon. Update 12/17/15. I just have to add one thing here. I was there for breakfast this morning, and all the raves by myself and other posters still apply. But I have to rave on the breakfast pastry they call their orange roll. Think Cinnabon, just slightly smaller, with the raisins replaced by cranberries and the cinnamon replaced by orange. I was in Fallon for work and this place was recommended by a coworker. It will not disappoint you, I had the steak sandwich and what I got was a plate worthy steak on a bun. Great flavor and too large to finish in 1 sitting. Since the sandwich was so good I thought about trying dessert. I tried the bread pudding and ended up with a large soup bowl that was delicious. The only thing that would have made it better is a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The service was outstanding and the value was great given most of the food is shareable. read more

During quarantine you have to try the dinner! For 40 or 50 bucks we got a huge lasagna. It came in a 13x9 roasting pan, the salad was equally as big and about a dozen rolls. The food was amazing, I'm talking homemade from scratch people. This wasn't the freezer lasagna you get from the store. A week later we tried the penne pasta dinner and it was just as good! The portions are enough to feed 5 or 6 well rounded eaters too! We had left overs for days and ever day it was just as amazing. Do, call them up and order a dinner meal to go! Food is above sub par for the area however the service and snootiness from the staff is what will keep us from coming back. (Been 1x before today and the food was amazing but service was mediocre). Today we went in at about 11am for a late breakfast. The 2 waitresses ignored us for a good 5 mins then one finally acknowledge us and took nearly another 10 mins to seat us (we were the only ones waiting for most of that time). Once seated, she quickly got our drinks. Another 5+ minutes before she came back to get our order. As we waited for our order, I finished my drink. Completely ignored for 15+ minutes with an empty drink that did not get refreshed till after we got our food. Food was quickly thrown together and the house potatoes just did not sit well this time around with myself or my husband. They lacked any flavor either. Waitress less than enthusiastic when she handed me the check. Went up to pay as the place was packed with people waiting (hey guys maybe invest in smaller tables for more seats?).. Waitress hovered over me while I was signing my receipt and that was the last straw. Do not hover trying to look at your tip, it's rude. I can easily sign and push the receipt back to the register. This is a super place for breakfast or lunch - if you can't bake, you can pick up one of their 8 million calorie pies and lie about ("Of course I made it!!") The selection of scones is to die for and the breakfast rolls are the size of a small roast! Their cream cheese eggs are my weakness - quiches, homemade breads of all sorts - I could go on and on. I didn't expect getting the unique food from a place that looked like any other mom 'n pops diner. Nothing extravagant about the decor, but the place puts a unique twist to the food it serves. Ordered a Bacon Mushroom Omelet, it didn't have a single mushroom on it. Half the bacon was burnt to charcoal and other half was almost raw. Not sure if there is a new cook or not, normally the omelets are great. Customer service was great. read more

Subpar at best. Went here for the first time and was disappointed. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed put out to serve us. I ordered the fried egg sandwich and the bread was completely burnt - making the entire sandwich taste bitter. Also, the egg was hard cooked and without any seasoning at all. We got a slice of pumpkin bread to take home - hoping a delicious baked good would make up for a poor breakfast. Unfortunately, the bread was also lacking in flavor and severely under baked. This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or even brunch. I'd say it's best for breakfast just because of it's decor and great selection of delicious looking pastries and pies. The inside is very spacious and clean, even though the place doesn't look like much from the outside. The staff are very friendly and give off that small town charm and warmth. The food is great... I had the traditional french toast for breakfast the other morning and the portions were more then enough (I couldn't finish it with the sausage). Very friendly, thoughtful waitress. My mother has a chronic cough and the waitress immediately fixed her some hot water with honey and lemon to calm the cough. The sandwich and salad were delicious. The one negative.... we got two cinnamon rolls to go (for breakfast the next morning) and, in my opinion, they had too much cinnamon. Sadly, I probably won't ever go to this place again, but only because I've moved out of state :( The food is amazing, I recommend the breakfast sliders. I've only been for breakfast, but the breakfast is amazing. The bread is homemade, the jam is homemade, and the waitresses are very nice. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, but only because they get quite busy. Cute cafe with good food. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with any of the meals. For lunch, I'd definitely give their salads a try, especially the Cobb with house dressing. My only concern is with the pastries. There are a lot of flies around the pastries, and it grosses me out knowing what the flies do when they land on the pastries. read more

Good food but the hours are limiting. This place does not serve breakfast after 11am on weekends which is frustrating and it doesn't serve lunch until 11am on weekdays either. The inflexibility of the menus and schedule is the main reason why I'm not giving 5 stars. Also their sweet tea is just flavored syrup with tea. I've been here for lunch and breakfast and the portions are huge and the flavor is fantastic! Everything is made from scratch and you can definitely tell there's effort put forth. I had the biscuits and gravy which were among the best I've ever had. My wife had the breakfast sliders and I wanted to steal her food and finally my friend had the french toast that was amazing.
