The first time I tried pho, I was not impressed. I was put off from it that I never bothered to try it again. Fast forward over a decade later and my coworkers wouldn't stop raving about this place. Hard pass. Then my friends and I wanted a girls night and they wouldn't stop talking about this place either. Friend was going to pay. They have other options besides pho. What could I lose? Yall. I have seen the light. I have seen the error of my ways. My go to order is the shrimp pho with extra shrimp. The crab ragoons are the prefect pairing. I haven't tried anything here that didn't delight and fill me in the most innocent way possible. Service is good. Exiting the car I could smell the food and typical spices and it was inviting. Walked in and was greeted quickly and promptly seated. The place was busy for a Thursday in a small town! The atmosphere was nice, clean, well decorated, and organized. I forgot the name of our waitress, but in the middle of me asking a question she walked off said I'll be right back. She was the youngest waitress there. She did come back and apologize, no issue was made, I accepted apology said it's alright and proceeded to order. Our order was Pho #9 with meatballs to go and one for the table, honey garlic chicken served with fried rice. While waiting for our order we were served water and our drinks. Along with the water a pitcher was placed in the table to refill the water cups, which was greatly appreciated. Son enjoyed a bottled Sapporo and added on some potstickers. The fried rice served with the meal was washed, but was on the mushier end, and any additions to the rice were missing. It was basically white rice, and soy sauce with a couple of pea sized speckles of egg, and I mean a couple, as you can see in the video. The pho was decent at best, the large portion was the small portion in other pho restaurants. Son loves it and enjoyed his meal greatly. The honey garlic chicken was fried to a crisp, and then sauced. The fry held up to the heavy thick sauce. The potstickers were good. They seemed almost deep fried or air fried as opposed to a traditional pan fry where one side is toasted and the rest it soft textured. However it was still pleasantly tasty and was served with a decent sauce! Would I return? Probably not, I have no doubt that it's good for this small town!!! read more

I've been here before and it was great. This last time the service was... not the best. I was thinking it was because they were busy? But it was mainly our younger waitress, it just seemed like they were distracted by the kitchen, but not waiting for meals to come out. But other than that, the food was great! I will always be back for the pho. The actual store is small and if it's windy, you will definitely feel the wind blow in through the front door, but that doesn't really bother me. The restaurant was clean and had steady customers coming into eat or to pick up call ins. I didn't want to go too crazy until I verified that I indeed would like it. I got the combination chow fun. So the people were very nice to be honest if I was reading it for customer service I would give it a 10 out of 10 but if we're going to talk about actual pho I would give it about a 3 out of 10. Maybe even a two out of 10 the pho wasn't very much flavor at all and we tried the beef and the chicken type neither one of them were very good and the egg rolls weren't very good either but the people that were waiting on us were really friendly so if you want good customer service but not very good I would say this is the place for you read more

This place smells like incense as soon as I got in. Reminds me of Asian ancestral worship or a temple of good fortune in Taiwan. But the broth is good and tho they don't have fresh noodles, yet it still tastes like California Pho. There was no 333 so I did a cross culture Asahi. Having enjoyed Phở in Huế, Da Nang and Saigon, I have yet to find a decent replica of those soup dishes. Vn Pho misses the target because of thin, almost tasteless broth. They should take the time to add more bone and cook it a lot longer. Otherwise, the best rating I can give their P5 a Naw Phở. It may be that this restaurant is not catering to the customers who want good Phở. Perhaps with the extensive Chinese/Vietnamese dishes on the menu, the customer is better off ordering other items. The staff was good, the place appeared clean and the tables are disinfected after each diner leaves. Good thing there is a Pizza Factory around the corner from this establishment, so next time I am in town, I will have something much better to eat. read more

Vietnamese and Chinese Food. Only pho restaurant in Fallon. We were craving pho which was decent and something we'd order again if stuck in the area. Stir fried calamari was amazing! Tofu was decent too. Love that potato starch used on those dishes. AC works great. 2 restrooms. Friendly staff. Doesn't have your typical Vietnamese food and drinks but they do have some Chinese food. Orange chicken with fried rice was not for us. Rating is for what's around in Fallon. It's not comparable to pho in Asian neighborhoods. Other than that, Mexican restaurant near the comfort inn was worth dining at too. read more

I went to Vn Pho for the second time because their food is so delicious and this time was no exception. But this review is mostly for their customer service. This night in particular was very busy and apparently our food ticket got skipped in the kitchen so we didn't get our food to MUCH later. The server and owner came to our table and were very apologetic. Honestly, we told them it didn't bother us cause we understand it's busy and things happen right? No biggie. But the owner insisted to pay for our entire meal and on top of that give us a free additional appetizer. Wasn't necessary but I greatly appreciated the extent of exceptional customer service. Graciously tipped our server anyways because he served us well and it wasn't his fault regardless. I'll continue to patronize Vn Pho for their tasteful food and great service. read more

They moved! Back in town and drove to the old location - it is dark :-( Almost gave up, but then followed GPS to the new location. I had the house pho which is still wonderful. I think they are putting more beef slices in it, so I was really full when I finished it. My wife had the pork and egg roll Bun, and loved it! The chicken fried rice I was warned was enough for 2 people... well, I do not share and specially when it is this good !! I clean that plate !! While visiting Fallon, I wanted to treat myself to Father's Day since I was away from my family. After looking and looking, I finally decided to grab some phō! It had been a very long time since I had eaten some. Being the foodie I am, I decided to try this place. Let me start from the beginning!
