Shrimp were delicious. Corn was also really good. I was able to eat the potatoes but they were pretty spicy. ;) The coleslaw was good-- not swimming like a lot of places make theirs. :) The catfish I got my husband was spicy but he was able to eat it. Just didn't anticipate the heat for everything on the menu. Got some potato salad because it looked AMAZING. I tasted a small amount and could barely swallow it. It was BEYOND spicy-- like painful. I gave it to my co-worker who loves spicy stuff and this was her exact response: "DAYUMMMM! Even too hot for me. Oh my." Did someone sneeze while making the potato salad and accidentally pour half a container of cayenne in the potato salad?? Legit question: How can *anyone* eat that? Amazing crawfish. The gator bites were tender and outstanding flavor. I have the shrimp and catfish. The service was outstanding. Food came out hot and with a taste of the corn to begin. My daughter went to Crabby Crawfish and ordered take out for herself, her mom and me. I had the Crawfish Etoufee. My food arrived very warm even though it was take out not dine in. The roux was just right brown and flavorful. The Crawfish and rice were cooked to perfection. The Cajun seasonings were just right not too much pepper. This place is a jewel; we had the Catfish fillet dinner that came with perfectly cooked fries and 2 sides; coleslaw wasn't too rich and the red beans and rice were outstanding; the Catfish was one of the biggest pieces I have ever had and prepared superbly; a lot of fish and very little batter; the shrimp salad had a lot of shrimp and was excellent; the service was very friendly and nice; [[HIGHLIGHT]]very casual place;[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] terrific prices and value for the meal; we are returning after our first visit. read more

Family really like the crawfish. They said it wasn't too hot, had a good flavor and paired with the garlic butter it was a hit. I don't eat the bugs but I did like the catfish meal. Everything is great. The fried catfish, the fried shrimp, and the shrimp & grits. The fried shrimp is the star of the show. It's seasoned to perfection and the batter is quite good. Great service with friendly staff. Ordered special of the day on Wednesday, shrimp platter with Cajun fries. They also served a spicy corn appetizer. Three of us shared two platters, which was plenty. Everything fresh and tasty. You need to be looking hard for the store front, which does not face Youree Dr, but shares the building with a computer store. read more
