I almost can't find the words to describe my experience at this place because it was so unbelievable. My kid and I walked in about 12pm and there may have been 8 tables full but I counted 8 more vacant. There was one couple waiting to be seated. The guy at the counter told me it would be a 20 min wait for an open table. So we sat and waited. It was about a 20 min wait. We were taken to a table that had not been cleaned. The guy asked us for our drink order and we got them in a very short time. But then we sat and sat as a guy attendant to every other table but us. For 20 mins we waited to give our order. Then finally he comes to us and say " sorry our kitchen is closed it may be up to 30 mins before you can order" I had never heard of such a thing in my life! Who closes their kitchen with customers waiting to order? Who keeps the doors open but the kitchen closes? I was so shocked I just got up and walked out without even questioning why. I hope this place goes out of business. They do not deserve to make another dime! read more

The good: the hostess/bartender def were really nice!!! Sadly that was about the only good thing. There was a heavy odor upon entering, I know... it's fish place, but it just wasn't an appetizing aroma to first experience. My mom really wanted a crab boil, and this was kinda the only place in town that had what she was looking for. Sadly, for what we paid, it was barely worth eating. Maybe during the peak season this place would be better, just sorry to report it wasn't worth the price ($100 for one snow crab bucket, an order of fish and chips, and one Pepsi). Casual fish, fish and chips, fish sandwiches and burgers. Seated promptly and server took our drink orders as soon as we sat down. I had the 3 piece halibut fish and chips. Got 4 pieces with fries and coleslaw. Had just come out of fryer, had to wait till it cooled down. Halibut was moist with a light beer batter coating. My wife had cod fish tacos, there was so much fish and coleslaw in the tortilla shells she had to eat them with a fork and knife as they were too full to actually pick up. She ate it all and said it was excellent. Server kept our sodas full and had a great personality. Wood tables with wood chairs, had good alcohol and beer selection. Will have to come back for happy hour in addition to lunch or dinner. Prices were very reasonable for quality food. Recommended. read more

Excellent food and service! I had the steamed clams at lunch and it was not too much but rather just the right amount of food. It came with delicious sourdough bread that was perfect for soaking up all the delicious butter/wine sauce that the clams were steamed in. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great tasting seafood! read more

amazing no. but had a great experience. In Seaside with my 3 year old and took her out for dinner. The staff from greeter and sever were friendly with my daughter. As for food the oyster poboy could have had toastier bread but the oysters were pleasant and pro-tip upgrade $2 to beer batter onion rings. Kids fish and chips $10 was two pieces of fish of good size. The best part was the clam chowder. Have I had better yes. But was flavorful and the way I like creamy but not that overly flowered thickened type. I could taste the onion and celery mild hints. First, the positive. Super cute little restaurant, trendy, good service, friendly. Excellent tartar sauce. But. The $26 three piece fried halibut meal came with s a third "piece" that was a third the size of the other two. Neither the fries nor the fish had been salted, and were extremely greasy. The chowder was bland. I could find clams and potatoes in it, but they left out the flavor. Salt, pepper, and oyster crackers were no help. If anything, it had a weird acrid taste, and we left a lot of it in the bowl. I've had plain cream that had more flavor. Returned to our lodgings a bit queasy, took Pepto Bismol, and vowed to never return. read more

We were greeted and seated right away. The interior is simple with windows all around. Music is playing and it's not too loud. I ordered the oyster Po Boy with clam chowder on the side. It's delicious. My friend ordered fish and substituted a salad for fries. The oyster Po Boy is delicious. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. I will definitely return. My son saw this in the Seaside magazine as soon as we got to our hotel. It was super close, less than 5 minutes. We got fried oysters, clam chowder, fettuccine Alfredo, and the kitchen sink boil. The clam chowder was good with a good amount of meat. My son got the fettuccine; it was so creamy. Last my husband and I shared the kitchen sink. Walked past this establishment a handful of times while we were staying at Seaside on vacation. It always caught our eye, but we always had other cravings when it was time for dinner. We finally got ourselves to eat there on one of our last nights. My wife and I both got the bread bowls and clam chowder! Yum yum yum! Highly recommend it. Filled us both up. The bread was awesome. My family and I went here and thought this place was mostly just, okay. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing. I was super excited to try the Halibut and Fish but I'll be honest, I feel like they either gave me the wrong fish and gave me cod or this was some of the worst Halibut that I've ever had. It didn't have the same texture that Halibut typically has and therefore was not great. I am a solid true and true, only eat Halibut and Fish and this just didn't do it for me. Everyone agreed that their food was just mediocre, nothing to write home about. I will say though, the best part of our experience was our waiter. I wish that I remembered his name. We actually preferred it the 2nd day when we got it without the cheese. Also the clam chowder flavor is delicious but the consistency is not consistent. The 1st night it was thick and soooo good. The 2nd day it was really runny and not the best, but the flavor was still okay. The water however is not drinkable, it's gross. I'm sorry to say that, but there's not any other way to describe it. We stopped for lunch just before we had to leave town. I had deep fried oysters (12) and my partner the fried salmon. I must say, the oysters were out of this world. Crispy exterior with a melt in your mouth oyster that was so good, I talked about it for the better part of the drive back to Portland. The 3 PC salmon was good, fries with the salmon cooked to perfection. Both plates came with a mild coleslaw that was a perfectl fit with the protein. Not bad if you want a simple crab boil. We ordered the seaside delight, and we were pleased! We actually ended up with a whole crab, and a half. Not what we were expecting as our server said it would just be one, but we didn't complain with the extra half!! Only thing is that your boil will get cold fast, and it wasn't really too warm when we got it, so we ended up with cold potatoes and crab legs the last bit of our meal.
