I would like to say this WAS my favorite restaurant to come to when I visited seaside till today. The service was horrible our server was very dismissive and only came to our table a couple times. It was wasn't busy either. Our water had stuff in it. And when my food came out the potato was extremely undercooked I was shocked and my sever Ariah was no where to be found I actually had to get up and ask for a new potato because she never came back after dropping off our food. And when she brought my new potato she said "it's not my fault I don't make the food" like obviously you don't make the food but it is your responsibility as a sever to make sure the food is up to standard. When I asked for a manager there was apparently none on shift. We expressed our frustration with her and she was extremely defensive and didn't let us speak. Didn't take any accountability for the way she treated us. I'm sad to say I'll never be back because of Ariah. I'll also never recommend this restaurant to anyone again. read more

We ordered the seafood boil. We had to continue adding and adjusting for seasoning. First- They only give you a half a piece of sausage for two people. Our potatoes were so hard. It came with delicious sourdough bread that was perfect for soaking up all the delicious butter/wine sauce that the clams were steamed in. amazing no. but had a great experience. In Seaside with my 3 year old and took her out for dinner. The staff from greeter and sever were friendly with my daughter. As for food the oyster poboy could have had toastier bread but the oysters were pleasant and pro-tip upgrade $2 to beer batter onion rings. I almost can't find the words to describe my experience at this place because it was so unbelievable. My kid and I walked in about 12pm and there may have been 8 tables full but I counted 8 more vacant. There was one couple waiting to be seated. The guy at the counter told me it would be a 20 min wait for an open table. So we sat and waited. It was about a 20 min wait. We were taken to a table that had not been cleaned. The guy asked us for our drink order and we got them in a very short time. But then we sat and sat as a guy attendant to every other table but us. For 20 mins we waited to give our order. Then finally he comes to us and say " sorry our kitchen is closed it may be up to 30 mins before you can order" I had never heard of such a thing in my life! Who closes their kitchen with customers waiting to order? Who keeps the doors open but the kitchen closes? I was so shocked I just got up and walked out without even questioning why. The $26 three piece fried halibut meal came with s a third "piece" that was a third the size of the other two. Neither the fries nor the fish had been salted, and were extremely greasy. The chowder was bland. I could find clams and potatoes in it, but they left out the flavor. Salt, pepper, and oyster crackers were no help. If anything, it had a weird acrid taste, and we left a lot of it in the bowl. I've had plain cream that had more flavor. My son saw this in the Seaside magazine as soon as we got to our hotel. It was super close, less than 5 minutes. We got fried oysters, clam chowder, fettuccine Alfredo, and the kitchen sink boil. My family and I went here and thought this place was mostly just, okay. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing. I was super excited to try the Halibut and Fish but I'll be honest, I feel like they either gave me the wrong fish and gave me cod or this was some of the worst Halibut that I've ever had. It didn't have the same texture that Halibut typically has and therefore was not great. I am a solid true and true, only eat Halibut and Fish and this just didn't do it for me.
