Great local restaurant only 4 miles from Avon. Cute patio for outside dining, 3:30-5:30 happy hour in the bar. We ate in the bar but mostly ordered off the regular menu. Our waiters were great, checking in with us frequently and giving us suggestions. When one person asked for romaine lettuce instead of greens in his Thai salad he was given a " no problem"! We found the food at the main street grill to be excellent. The selection is standard bar fare but done pretty well. The burger was definitely a highlight as were the sweet potato fries. Service was attentive, but nothing crazy. We were left alone for the most part unless we needed something. Ambience is pretty typical of a sports bar with TVs and a little bit of vague jazziness to the art and decor. The outdoor seating area is also nice. read more

Easily the most average to below average food that I've had in a couple of years. Met my daughter and her husband there today for lunch,them from Grand Junction and us from Denver. The 1/2 # burger was 1/4# at best and not great. The hot chicken sandwich wasn't hot,either spice or temp.,The Gyro was marginal,small amount of lamb,crispy instead of soft pita bread and Im pretty sure the Taziki was like it came out of a jar or a can. The Philly cheese steak wasn't close. Cut up pieces of beef,cheddar cheese of some sort and had to search for the peppers and onions. The cole slaw was tolerable. The PBR was good though. read more

Love this place for a delicious bite before a movie at the theater right across the street. The service is always great and there's always a decent amount of people eating there. The ambiance is great. I got the nightly special- mussels with fettuccine and it was absolutely to die for! It tasted like it was from a very upscale restaurant. Mediocre place to eat in Edwards. The food was nothing special. The server couldn't have cared less. As well, the guests were snobby. Accidentally left a credit card there, and were treated rudely when trying to retrieve it. We are at the grill for the first time tonight, and are pleasantly surprised! Friendly staff, fast service and delicious meals! We had two littles with us and each got a high chair right away. Our two year old ordered her food when the adults ordered our drinks, which worked out perfectly! She had tenders and applesauce and look of the empty plates, they were yummy. I had the Caprarese salad with grilled chicken. Beautifully served and equally delicious. There were six of us at the table and we all raved about our meals. We'll be back soon! read more

We stayed in Edwards for a tournament in Vail, and loved the Jambalaya at Main street Grill as well as the fish tacos. We happened to be driving back from Glenwood the next week and made a point to go a second time in two weeks because we loved it and we loved it again! Quinn waited on us both times and did an excellent job, there was great taste and variety in music, and the food was outstanding! I could NOT stop eating them and thankfully my husband told me I could finish them because he ordered... - The Burger - to which he said "better than any burger I've eaten thus far in our new town here in CO"... And my husband is the biggest food snob (burger and fries specifically) you'll ever meet! He loved his truffle fry situation too! Our party of three enjoyed ribs, fish tacos and fish & chips. The food and drinks were very good. The fish was crispy and string fries nicely cooked. The ribs were a nice full rack with tasty BBQ sauce. We arrived for an early dinner and were shortly seated after a party paid their check. Our server didn't arrive for a while, we quickly ordered and salads arrived moment's before entrees. Our server was helpful, polite and pleasant. I think for whatever reason, the servers seem to have too much to handle. Good food with mediocre service. Try the bar area for happy hour pricing and maybe faster service. We had an AWESOME time at Main Street Grill. Our girls' weekend trip had just started and we decided to have dinner here because a band was coming that night. Between the four of us we had the flat iron steak, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and chicken nachos. The food was ok. My steak was seasoned well, but over cooked. I didn't complain cause I don't mind it well done instead of medium. The fries were really good though. The chicken nachos were tasty. My friend really enjoyed those. The red beans were ok. Hubby and I make some mean red beans, so I'm kind of a snob about them. The jambalaya tasted tomatoe-y. Not sure that is a word, lol, but wasn't too bad. The corn bread though...seriously...super tasty! Especially when it's sitting in a bath of honey butter. The bartender/staff were great. They were so fun and attentive. And the band was great. I was uncertain about MSG the first couple times I tried it. The food was pretty solid, but they were struggling (like most restaurants) with service during much of the Pandemic and more recent months with the labor shortage. While restaurants in Vail Valley continue to struggle to find staffing, a few are making a nice come back--or perhaps I just had an unusually great experience this week at MSG for dinner last week with two other couples at 6:30 p.m. Our server wasn't perfect, but got most everything (for a pretty demanding group) right and timely, but the kitchen stumbled on a special order. Everything else was flawless. Somehow it had escaped me during my past visits that MSG has roots in Cajun country and has a special Cajun section on the menu. With low expectations, I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta and hoped for the best. While I'm not sure there is such a thing as Jambalaya served over Penne pasta in Louisiana, I was blown away by the preparation and outcome. Filled with generous portions of chicken, Andouille sausage, and shrimp in a tomato based Cajun-style broth, thickened slightly perhaps with a roux, the dish was absolutely wonderful. Maybe the pasta is the chef's twist on the more traditional rice you'd likely find in more traditional Cajun restaurants, but it was absolutely satisfying and delicious. We didn't stay for dessert, but there were some tempting options for those who order starters and entrees less aggressively than our group. read more

Came here on a busy Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised to find only a 15 to 20 minute wait for our group of six. First time I've seen pitchers of beer in a restaurant in a long time, but that was perfect for the short wait in the bar. The restaurant has TVs throughout both the bar and dining area, and the staff was very agreeable about putting on an NBA game in both areas at our request. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly and the service was amazingly fast. The grilled pesto salmon did not disappoint, although the size of the fillet was surprisingly small compared to other restaurants where I've been served a similar dish. (Truth be told, however, the portion size is probably much more in line with what you should be eating anyway.) It featured a sun-dried tomato relish and was served over a polenta cake with crisp snap peas on the side. The meatloaf was a hit, as was the jambalaya pasta and the pork chop. Two of the guys ordered their special cornbread with honey butter, which was huge and looked amazing. The rest of us were very content with the soft rolls, which also came warm with a dollop of honey butter. Maybe it was the fact that this was our last night on this ski trip, or the fact that we had very low expectations for this restaurant, but every guy in the group commented on what a great dinner this had been. read more

My friend, and I were excited to try the mussels and martinis Monday special. We arrived and stood to wait to be seated for a long-ish amount of time, not really seeing any staff around, even at the adjacent bar. We got a perfect little table in the back, away from the multitude of annoying sports tvs. The patio looked great, but, with the sun setting, it was cooling off rapidly. The mussels came very quickly and tasted amazing! The little rolls and sweet cream butter were a nice touch, too. My friend ordered an Appletini and said it was just awful. Our fabulous, attentive server, April promptly exchanged it for a cosmopolitan. I tasted it and even with the extra cranberry juice, it was just off. We left it there, still full. We also had the soup du jour which was the crab bisque. I liked it a lot. The crab was plentiful. And I also really liked the crab cake. The texture and meatiness of the crab, along with the presentation were commendable. However, the sauce was extremely salty. My friend agreed. But the $14.00 price was pretty hefty. I guess the cornbread was good, because it completely disappeared! All in all, I've had better mussels at Bone Fish (They are actually my all time favorite and I highly recommend them there) and now I don't need to return here. read more

Standard American food with some Cajun specialties tucked away in a strip mall in Edwards. It's under 10 minutes from Avon/Beaver Creek, so we drove over for dinner after a day of skiing. It was pretty busy when we arrived on a Thursday night but we quickly got seated (party of 4). Service was very friendly and helpful - I asked our server if I should get the fish and chips, burger, or chicken fried steak and she surprised me. I ended up getting the fish and chips which were delicious! The fish was very crispy but not oily, and their sweet potato waffle fries are big and crunchy. Being from Houston, we were skeptical of their Cajun options, but my boyfriend tried the jambalaya penne pasta after reading rave reviews on Yelp and they didn't steer us wrong!
