This is a custard place but it tastes smooth, silky, and like almost regular ice cream. They have amazing flavors to choose from, I'll never forget the peanut butter and jelly I ordered once, it was one of best things I ever had in the ice cream world. My friends ordered cookies and cream and a strawberry shortcake sundae, wow! I saw the chunks of pound cake in the sundae, it was no joke. They also sell cookie ice cream which looks to die for. Wonderful staff here and very clean. Come check it out.

I stopped here for milkshakes with my daughter and for $18 we were handed two cups barely 2/3 full, see picture. I asked where the rest of our shakes were and was told they weigh the custard and because it was fresh it didn't fill up the cup. I typically only visit the location in tega cay, but I've never had this happen before. For the price I would expect a full cup.

Ice cream and custard lovers rejoice! I recently had a scoop of Abbot's Christmas Tree Cake custard. Yes, the Little Debbie cake that appears around Christmas time. They turned it into a frozen treat. Does it get any better? I returned to buy a pint. That's what I enjoy most about Abbott's- to be able to enjoy any flavor at home days later. The service is still friendly, and the shop is a cute place to take social media pics. They give heaping portions too, so watch the cup sizing before ordering. 5 stars!

Our friend from NY introduced us to this spot and we've been amazed. I've never had anything like the chocolate almond ice cream here. It's absolutely amazing. If you're in the area, definitely grab a sweet treat.

This is a hidden gem! The staff is extremely courteous and accommodating. They have a walk up counter for outside orders or you can order inside. There are cute white painted wooden benches to sit and enjoy your frozen treats and there's plenty of parking in this quaint little area. Quantities are plentiful and prices are just right. Come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Friendly and patient service each visit. The custard is perfectly smooth, and they always have creative daily flavors. I can't wait to try more of the menu, there is a lot of room to create your own sundae & plenty of menu options as well. I'm also a big fan of their dessert spoons! Just what we were looking for

Great frozen custard! Came by during their grand opening. The space is open and bright. Ample seating indoor. The place was busy and there was a line when we arrived. However, it moved quickly. The staff moved quickly and efficiently. When it was our turn, we ordered the following: Cotton Candy (Kiddie in cup) $2.95 Mint Chocolate Chip (Single scoop) $3.75 Nice consistency and flavor. I like that they change flavors everyday. Their menu is pretty simple. They offer shakes, floats, sundaes, flurries, and pies! They also have a variety of toppings. Affordable prices, too!

I'm not sure how I feel about this place, to be honest. To be a frozen custard place and only have like 5 options to chose from was a bit odd. The ice cream we did have was delish but wasn't all that. I gave 4 stars because we still enjoyed our ice cream!

I am a little biased due to this being a staple in my hometown Rochester NY. So it hit all the feels! This location is easy to find with lots of parking. Clean and inviting inside. Lots of outside benches and a walk up window if you prefer to be outside. Inside you'll find ice cream cakes , ice cream cookies and frozen bananas with sprinkles. They have daily flavors and if you see one in their Instagram page hurry! They sell out fast. The girls at the counter were knocking out the line so don't be discouraged by a line. It moves fast! Abbots, thank you for bringing a little slice of hometown to the CLT for me.

We've been wanting to try the Concord location, so it was nice to finally check it out. I ordered the peanut butter overload milkshake and went with the simple version, so mine came in a regular cup--not one of the big mason jar builds. I did get a few pictures of the mason jar ones though, and they are definitely over-the-top and loaded. Even with the regular version, my shake was really good--super thick, rich, and a lot to get through. I made it a little over halfway before I was done. It was about $9, which feels pretty reasonable for the portion and quality you're getting. My niece had the cookie crumble, her friend got the banana pudding, and my sister had butter pecan in a waffle cone. Everyone enjoyed theirs--no complaints at all. The space itself is really cute. It's very kid-friendly and family-friendly, but honestly, it would make a fun little date night stop too. Just know going in--you can definitely share because the portions are heavy. I'll be back to try one of those fully loaded mason jar shakes next time. Service was good. 10/10 recommend.

If I don't have Andy's at least twice a week I go into a severe depression until I have a sundae or concrete in my hands! But seriously, the custard is silky smooth. It's made fresh hourly which I have witnessed several times by sitting outside the Andy's window and watching it slowly pour out from the machine. I've tried every single concoction they've made since moving to the Concord area a year ago. My favorites have been the cherry pie concrete, pumpkin pie concrete, chocolate cake sundae, blueberry cobbler sundae & concrete, lemon bar concrete and strawberry shortcake sundae. The shakes and sodas are amazing. Also, the cones are made fresh daily and really good. Best of all you can customize your custard any way you want which is great for cravings. I promised you that even if you get a simple cone or cup of Andy's frozen vanilla custard you will be hooked. I've had friends come from out of town and have their minds blown away by this stuff. Of course I joined the rewards program to get notifications on the new desserts that will be featured and get points for purchases. Who doesn't love free frozen custard for being a loyal customer. We came across Whit's Frozen Custard, which was nearby. Ice Cream or Frozen Custard is always a good thing anywhere. Certainly after a long day of travel, it is a welcomed experience, no doubt. We came to Whit's Frozen Custard in Huntersville on a Veteran's Day holiday evening. We were thankful they were still open around 7pm. It was standing room only, since we wanted to order something and head back on the road. It was a small enough ice cream shop that we were just happy to be there. You could feel the subtle ambiance that life is good and things are fine. With that said, I ended up with a pint of chocolate ice cream and my friend had a 2 scoops of her favorite flavor. They already had pre packed pints in the freezer, so I just did that to save time and not have the staff pack a fresh one. We spent at most 20 minutes here from start to finish. It was a delicious treat after arriving in CLT international airport and spent the evening, stopping at Huntersville. It was definitely well needed. The overall experience here at Whit's Frozen Custard here in Huntersville, North Carolina was good and typical at the same time. The staff here was great in taking care of us and the ice cream was delicious. They were friendly and they smiled more than I noticed. I'm not sure what the difference is between genuine ice cream and frozen custard is but, the taste seems to be no difference. Or very little. The prices here are very reasonable, but if you want added value, you should consider the pint or a quart and save the rest in the freezer for a rainy day. Unless of course, you are buying for a party. My experience here at Whit's Frozen Custard was delicious. I'd definitely recommend coming here, if you are in the area, going to or from CLT international airport, consider stopping by for some ice cream. They make it homemade and its fresh every day. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself. Whit's Frozen Custard ice cream shop in Huntersville, North Carolina is located at 10410 Arahova Drive in Huntersville. They accept major credit cards and cash, if you have it. As far as parking goes, they have a small parking lot for customers. There is regional public transportation services that come here from the CLT airport, so that's pretty cool. Just search the one that's right for your situation. And of course, ideally, having your own car or a rented one would help a lot with time. Then there's Uber and Lyft, if you need them for your travel needs too. For the most part though, it was very nice to be here and maybe hope to be here again soon, if my future travels permit to do so. Definitely a sweet treat to be had. Definitely recommended if you enjoy all the flavors of the rainbow. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

What I can share with you is a tip that they shared with me. As you know, a banana split comes with vanilla ice cream strawberries, pineapples and hot fudge or chocolate syrup. If you translate that to a blizzard then the toppings are very important. If you get chocolate syrup when they blend it, your vanilla ice cream turns into chocolate ice cream; maybe you like that. But if you get hot fudge it stays as hot fudge and your vanilla ice cream stays vanilla. I happen to prefer that option. It's amazing!
