You pick up a cup, go to 10 different machines that have different flavors of soft frozen yogurt. Once your cup has either one flavor or a mixture of flavors, you now have the opportunity to place toppings on the yogurt. I only selected cheesecake pieces and oreos. It is weighed on a scale and you pay for the weight of your dessert. The place was actually clean due to the only employee who cared to wipe down chairs and tables when people left. Frozen yogurt heaven!! So happy I tried them out, since moving to NC my favorite froyo place was no where to be found. Cute little place with plenty yogurt options, they even had more than just one sugar free option. The toppings were plentiful! The toppings bar was nice and clean. Very organized. I mean they had just about any topping you could think of!! They had caramel and fudge syrup by the register as well. We went on a Thursday evening, so there was only one person working. However there was no wait or line so we were serviced quickly. The young lady told me about saving if I signed up for their rewards program, so I did and got an instant discount which was awesome! My son had an amazing time from picking his flavors to picking the toppings for his yogurt and gave the yogurt a big thumbs up, and I agree! Sweet Frog yogurt was definitely worth the trip! I had the cheesecake and Milky Way flavors. Both were DELICIOUS!! I couldn't believe the cheesecake was non-fat, and the Milky Way, low-fat. Hubby had the non-fat cheesecake as well, and low-fat cake batter. He loved his too. The place was clean and the toppings bar had an array of decadent add-ons, from pound cake and cheesecake bites, to fruit and nut choices. Seriously, there were so many sweet little toppings to choose from. They also had hot fudge, white chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow and strawberry liquid toppings in pumps to gush over your creation. It's not cheap. Now I know why the princess kissed the frog because, boy, is he sweet! Frozen yogurt isn't normally anything special, but when you first walk into Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt, you'll be astonished at how many yogurt machines are lining one wall. IT'S ABSOLUTELY MIND-BOGGLING. Did I feel overwhelmed? Definitely! But it was so much fun mixing a variety of different flavors together. I will have to warn you that with great power comes great responsibility, so don't go TOO crazy since it does cost $0.51 per ounce. Luckily for me though, I came by on a Wednesday and there was a special promo where every 12 oz cup cost only $4.44 (tax not included) no matter how much yogurt or how many toppings you get. Unfortunately, I didn't know until AFTER I paid, so I didn't stack my toppings a mile high. The toppings counter is just as variable as the frozen yogurt machines. You can find anything your sweet tooth desires like popping boba, fruits, cookies, brownies pieces, chocolate chips, candy, syrups, and mochi bites. The counter is large, so getting the toppings in the far back could be a bit difficult, but the servers will help you if needed. For my cup, I combined vanilla yogurt, cookies and cream yogurt, and plain tart yogurt with strawberries, kiwis, shaved dark chocolate, and granola. Of course, there are a GAZILLION combinations, but I was absolutely in love with my concoction. The fruits were a bit tart, but served as a nice contrast to the sweeter yogurts. The shaved dark chocolate added texture and the granola pieces had a slight dust of cinnamon that was sinfully delicious. I was so full, but I would be lying if I said I didn't want more. Even if there wasn't a promo, I would say the frozen yogurt here is well worth the money. But with that kind of deal, it would be a crime not to come by yourself. It's a great place to satisfy that sweet tooth and hang out with friends. Like the well-known fairy tale, Sweet Frog will become a personal favorite in no time. read more

This location had a few flavors I've never tried, so here is the 411: --ORCHARD CHERRY... the BOMB dot com! ( I wish they had this at my Sweet Frog location in MD... #waitingforit) --PEANUT BUTTER... This is lone of their "Supreme Flavors". Sooo how do I describe it? Welp... it tasted exactly like eating cold creamy, slightly melted peanut butter. This should be called a Supreme-FAIL... this flavor should be drop-kicked right out the door! Yuck. --ISLAND BANANA... I started to ask myself why I would want banana yogurt, but after I tried the sample, I figured it out. Its really refreshing and fruity... flavorful but not to "banana"-ny if that makes sense! --SALTED CARAMEL... Ummm YES. --NEW YORK CHEESECAKE... My friend thought it passed the test with flying colors. Cheesecake lovers will love this! --CAPPUCINO... This was made for coffee lovers! For some reason, I don't drink much coffee, but I love everything that has a coffee flavor. Weird, I know. -- CAKE BATTER... My friend also went for this flavor mostly. She added-in: brownies, hot fudge, and sprinkles. She loved it. Oh and NSA means "No Sugar Added". The NSA vanilla... I can't tell that there isn't any sugar, so its my base flavor for everything now. FYI: The FROG in "Sweet Frog" is actually an acronym. FROG = Fully Rely On God. That's awesome! Not many people know this because it is not heavily publicized... I used to be one of them. This is the FIRST location that I've visited that played Christian music, and they also had a Christian artist's CD available for purchase showcased near the toppings bar. My fave froYo spot in the area! They've damn near got it all. They have probably over a dozen flavors (too busy ooogling to actually count;-) and of the flavors that I have sampled, they are indeed on point. Toppings galore!!! ...typically not a big fan of open bar/self-serve type stations, but they keep it very clean here. Also there is a pretty decent sized seating area within the sweet frog as well as outdoors. I don't care to comment about the staff. They weigh the goodies and take your $$, purpose served :-) If there was wifi I'd live here:-) read more

Stopped by for an evening treat. The facility was clean and the ice cream (yogurt) was pretty good. We had an Orange Leaf near us in Texas that I thought had better flavored ice cream. Now, I know I shouldn't be getting excited about frozen yogurt, but this place was way cool! I visited NC for my nephew's college graduation and this place was within a short drive of the hotel where my family stayed. We were in NC for three days, and trust me when I tell you, all three days we were at Sweet Frog! The biggest selling point is you can customize your treat to your liking, at your own hand. There's no saying, "Can I get extra sprinkles on that?" -or - "Can you mix the strawberry, chocolate obsession AND the Island Mango in my medium cup?" Since it's completely self-serve, there's no one to judge what decisions you make. The choices are yours. I encountered a great selection of flavors and toppings, a friendly and helpful staff, and an expanded waistline. I wish we had Sweet Frog in Philadelphia. As an avid Sweet Frog connoisseur, I can safely say this is one of the best locations! They have twice the flavors that most locations offer and a very fresh looking, well maintained stock of toppings. The only thing they are lacking - more syrup toppings! I've been to others that have every syrup imaginable. For me, there is nothing better than a combo of white chocolate and hot fudge! Customer service had always been acceptable for us, unlike some other reviews. We've had great help there and standard help. Never a bad experience. The closest to "bad" was quickly resolved via Facebook with the franchise owner. If you're needing a save a buck, check out their Facebook page for deals! You gave it three stars, but they only get two from me! These guys closed before the closing time, rushed us and practically shoved us out the door (all before closing!). I get you want to go home but that's not how you treat customers (find a new job?). Anyway that may sound a little harsh but seriously!!! In my line of work, everything matters and whether it's 30 seconds to closing or 2 minutes, it's still not closing time so don't make your customers feel panicked because they aren't eating or leaving fast enough!! There are so many toppings that it's borderline ridiculous. You can make your frozen yogurt a healthy, fruity treat or you can load it up with cheesecake bites, chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, brownies, etc. and not be judged. They have plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating. Staff is just "blah", they weren't super nice or rude- just there.
