Went on a late Friday night with my family. We arrived around 10PM. Parking was abundant and the restaurant was empty. I really like the location, the space, and the decor. You placed your order at the counter and then select your seating. They'll bring food to you. All the food we ordered tasted great. Affordable and large. portion sizes. Glad that I found this gem that opens late because our family runs on a late night schedule due to busy activities.

We walked in not knowing what to expect - one look at the menu will leave you questioning - pasta, salad, ramen, croffles? We were intrigued. The service was fine, nothing too extraordinary to note. It's a fast food style sit down restaurant. The interior was decorated very well albeit the space inside isn't too large. I went with my girlfriend and we both decided to order one of their pastas. I ordered the schezwan flavor with fried tofu and she opted for the vongole with chicken katsu. Food was fine, but was it worth $15 each? Absolutely not. There is also no real choice of pasta, you're getting linguine. The tofu, while fried well and lightly seasoned with salt and tofu, just came on the side. So it was up to me to mix it in with the food so that it absorbed some of the flavor. Needless to say that altogether, we left pretty underwhelmed. Would we come back for the food? Probably not. However, we may give their desserts a shot in the future - but that will warrant its own review.

I've been looking at this spot for SO long! It's just a bit far to go on a whim. Today's Mother'sDay and this was my request. Delicious! Everything! Easy to order, friendly staff and super cute inside. Free parking deck! Go hungry and try everything! This is my new favorite place!

really good food and really nice staff. it's a counter service spot and then u go and grab it once you're called, felt like it took a little bit but worth it. I really enjoyed my sweet and spicy chicken ramen, the fried chicken balls were soooo juicy and flavorful. the bulgogi fries were also really yummy. I also got a caramel iced coffee on the way out and that was sooo delicious, perfect amount of sweetness. stop in, you'll be happy you did.

Nice little Vibe! I don't know what took us so long to get out to this place, this is really a great spot, We ordered the egg rice bowls and the did not disappoint. I'm look forward to my next visit so I can try all of the little desserts. The restaurant was very clean, while they do not offer table service, the counter service was absolutely friendly, the cashier made all types of suggestions based on our diet. There is a parking deck located in the back of the restaurant , if you're looking for a Korean inspired food you should definitely check them out.

This place is a must. Great decor all around with a nice settling atmosphere. I got the carbonara pasta which was perfectly al dente, solid rich flavor, with a nice topping of protein. I would get the salmon over the chicken as the glaze on it is mouth watering. Would recommend checking it out as it's worth it!

Came here the other day for the first time. You order at the counter and pay then sit wherever you want. I got the alfredo w/chicken katsu & straberry melona drink for about $23. My friend got the carbonara w/k fried chicken. Everything was good but not great. Prices for food are decent. Drinks are kinda expensive. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Great location with a parking deck to the back entrance of the place. Plenty of seating area and staff were very friendly. For all the hype, what I got was NOT a hit. The k-fried chicken was not good, you can tell it was store bought. The pastas were very under seasoned and I would not recommend, but the grilled salmon was delicious by itself. I would say the affogato and the berry croffle that I got was the best thing there. If you want great coffee/espresso and dessert, I would say give this place a try. But the pasta, no, go to a better place for the price. Also the poker face drink tasted like water.

I've gone here twice. It's a nice spot. The coffee has been good. First time trying a croffle it was good. It's basically a waffle shaped as a croissant. The ramen was good. Healthier tasting I would say than the ramen I usually eat. I believed it had bok choy and other veggies and also a hard boiled egg.

Really a fun place! My daughter is obsessed with this place, so much that she wanted her birthday dinner here to celebrate her big day. They have a really cute atmosphere and they are open late on Saturdays till 11. Basically you look at the menu and then order at the front. They give you a beeper and when your food's ready, you'll be alerted and you go to the front and pick it up. Every time I go I get the teriyaki salmon over omelette rice. It might sound strange but it's actually very good! Lots of protein and they give you a super big portion. My daughter always gets the tempura shrimp and pasta. She's had the red sauce and the fettuccine. She loves both. My boyfriend gets the carbonara pasta with grilled chicken. All of us give this restaurant a thumbs up. They have many speciality drinks and fun desserts too. Such a variety of foods from beef bulgogi fries to spicy ramen to macaroon ice cream. The prices are really fair considering how much food you get. It's definitely one of our go tos for a casual night out. If you're in the area, don't miss out!

The food, drinks, and space here all just passed the vibe check. Bonus! There's plenty of seating and outlets so feel free to come and work. My food partner and I decided to of course get multiple items and share. We got the Bulgogi Fries, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, and a Coffee Espirtini (since we were told it was large). All the food? Certified buss down. The drink? Craft-fully made. Both of us were as full as a tick. We also spent a couple hours here just hanging out working on different projects. I will say, it's not the quietest place as it does get a bit noisy when full but definitely serves as a great change in scenery.

A friend visited recently and raved about The Cream, i remembered seeing ig posts and had to visit myself. It's a cute little place. I had the Kchicken (with sauce on the side initially). The sauce is what makes it really so the 2nd order I got the sweet hot sauce as they are typically prepared. I also had the beef bulgogi taco and later the salted Carmel donut . My faves- the chicken .. the sauce is amazing. When i tried it without the sauce it really very much gave chicken nuggets. Good chicken nuggets though. I placed a second order after i finished the first. The beef bulgogi taco was yum. Reminded me of a cheesesteak a bit . Would definetly order again Not quite a fan of the donut. The salted caramel gelato inside however was so good. The donut seemed less like a donut but more like a sweet roll. I think my expectation was a warm donut with the filling. So i wouldn't order that again. Quaint little spot. I will return

The Cream is kind of a fusion between traditional and modern Korean food and snacks. It is really spacious inside. The staff members are also pretty helpful. I got the Bulgogi Beef Fries and they were really good and super filling. I also got the Sausage and Egg Croissant which came with a Hash Brown. I thought that the croissant sandwich was alright, only because the sausage was actually a hot dog and I kind of expected an actual sausage. The Pistachio Cheesecake was very yummy, though. Honestly, the rest of the food on their menu sounds delicious so I feel like anyone could find something that they like here.

The food at The Cream is top tier. I love their K-fried chicken, the chicken katsu sandwich and ramen. We frequently stop in for coffee several times a week and the owner and staff are always so kind to my husband and I. It is a great addition to the downtown Duluth area! They have the cutest outdoor patio as well. read more

Ordered katsu chicken alfredo, the chicken was good but the pasta was not alfredo based on taste and pictures online. I mentioned it to guy at the counter but he insisted it was alfredo. Also ordered a pistachio cheesecake which was a disappointment, the taste was no good and the crust was soggy, it must have been old. I took a look at their desserts again to check and it looks like they buy their dessert cakes from Bindi instead of being house made. read more

very cute ambience inside, plenty of tables and room, plenty of menus available for perusal, wasn't too busy at lunchtime on tuesday. staff was nice and quick. i got the fried mandu and beef meatball and rice cake skewer. the latter was DELICIOUS and the mandu were average. the soy sauce didn't taste very good for some reason. i had one of the lemonades and the taste faded out super quickly somehow? anyway, a great place for a quick lunch date !! read more

Amazing spot and amazing food. The shrimp was crispy and hot. The workers were very nice. I wasn't aware there was bacon in my pasta so I asked the workers nicely to replace it and they did and apologized. I 100% recommend this place. read more

I've been here 3 times already since they been open and I still would come back. It's a nice little spot with varieties of food, drinks, & dessert. My go to item is the marinara pasta with shrimp. The marinara is more on the sweeter side which is what I like. The carbonara pasta is good too if you want a more creamier pasta. My fiancé love their teriyaki K-chicken with ramen. I definitely recommend coming to give it a try and order different things to see what you like. The only down side is that everything is self serve which is fine. There should also be a sign where the line starts cause there's 2 stair ways where you can walk up to. & make sure you grab a table cause it's first come first serve. Other than that, everything is pretty good. & Don't forget to grab a dessert also. read more

First time here, food was good. I liked the set up...I just wish they had real cutlery. Plastic takes it down a notch and makes it cheaply plus it's hard to eat with plastic forks. Will be back to try other things on the menu. read more

If you love heavy pasta, come here! I didn't so I didn't enjoy the food here. It was not only just okay, but the tables were wobbly and the vibes were just not there. The drinks were also super sweet so beware. read more

The area is spacious and there are plenty is tables. Finding the place was a little tricky since it just opened Apple Maps doesn't give the direct coordinates. I had to drive through the apartment complex and then pull into the parking garage on the other side, other than that it wasn't too difficult. We ordered "The Grinch" thinking it was a holiday drink but it was just a matcha latte. (we definitely should have asked before ordering, the drink was okay, but I would order something else next time) The takoyaki was delicious and the fried potatoes at the bottom added a nice texture to the bite. The pasta was also delicious and had a nice creamy sauce that paired well with the katsu. The croffle was also good and still remained crispy even after we finished all the savory food. The portion sizes were also fair and all this food was shared between two people. I would definitely come back and try more dishes! read more

My daughters and I wanted to try this place after viewing a few video reviews. The food was decent and atmosphere, pleasant enough. A fast casual fusion spot marketed as a cafe in the busy downtown Duluth district. We ordered the so dduk so dduk (one skewer dressed up in evening wear), chicken katsu with carbonara, and spicy seafood ramen. The chicken had a good crunch and pasta was flavorful. Spicy seafood ramen was okay. A dried ramen pack accessorized with a hard boiled egg and fish cake. The panko shrimp helped. After finishing, we bussed our own table and ordered dessert. This is where everything turned sour and four stars dropped to one. During the ordering process (both entree and dessert) the staff were visibly annoyed, short, and unhelpful. They had at least 5-7 staff behind the counter, yet the majority seemed unconcerned with helping customers. If that is their service culture, so be it. But do not rudely accuse my 16 y/o daughter of picking up a gelato macaron that she did not order! She stood there while I paid for the order! Even if he just assumed his own staff mistakenly placed the macaron with the drinks by mistake, it really embarrassed her when he pulled it away from her and said you didn't pay for this. Hmmm. We just ordered an entire meal and now drinks. After giving him the receipt, he finally slid it to her unapologetically. If you do not want to be humiliated in front of others, mark this one on the list to avoid. Buyer beware. If you order, keep your receipt front and center or they may treat you in a most distasteful way. read more

Amazing food and vibes! We got the Ham & Cheese Croissant Sandwich (comes with small (sauce cup) fruit cup and baked Lays chips, One Bulgogi Taco, Bulgogi Fries, Sweet & Spicy Chicken Ramen (came with half of a boiled egg, some type of cracker?), Caramel Frappe and Caramel Macchiato. We came right after their breakfast ended (8am-12pm) so we unfortunately couldn't try their breakfast items. The seating space is limited since they are pretty busy (first come first serve), but they are very clean and courteous of everyone. They clean each table as it becomes available so plan accordingly! They also have two stations of water dispensers, plastic forks, spoon, straws, to-go boxes and sauces on each side of the register. They also have other items besides dessert and breakfast/lunch/snacks, like ice cream macaroons, snowflake, specialized drinks like ades, croffles, ice cream egg waffles and so on. Definitely recommend to try them out! Parking is available beside and behind the apartments/building in the parking deck (don't recommend big cars like lifted trucks, a Cadillac touched the top of the clearance bars). read more

Super cute place, lots of great drinks and desserts options. We came here for dinner, will need to come back and try the sweets. As far as the taco and ramen, not the best but not the worst. If you need to serve a craving, it will be good enough but don't go out of your way to eat ramen at this place. Taco was fair, the topping was overwhelming which masked the protein (beef and shrimp), we knocked half of it off. Free parking and outdoor seating were a great addition to the restaurant. read more

Saturday for late lunch . I had the fire chicken ramen and teriyaki chicken 10/10 recommend. The noodles were cooked perfect . The sauce was flavorful and spicy as described . And the chicken krispy and delish ! I also had the green tea drink the pretty purple one and it was also great . Seating is small but I'd def go back . Great atmosphere, food, drinks, dessert, and service. Had the katsu chicken Alfredo pasta, bulgogi fries, affogato, katsu chicken sandwich, mango-ade (like lemonade but with mango). Everything was exceptional and the katsu chicken is perfectly soft, crispy, and delicious. They asked if we wanted the affogato after the meal and held off on serving it until we were done, which is above and beyond for a place where you order everything at the register. The pasta was very, very good and we'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu read more

I got the Vuongole with Korean Fried Chicken. I loved it!! Would definitely visit again. The person that took our order was sweet and funny. I love the decor. We did have a hard time finding it through maps however if you park in the garage I think there is an entrance from the back. read more

Parking is shared with all of downtown Duluth's parking area meaning that over the weekend it can get quite busy. Service was quick even while the shop itself seemed a bit busy. My husband and I each ordered a drink. A flavored latte for him and a matcha with cold foam for me. The prices are decent and they also offer rewards.
