The place is decorated nicely although the cloth seating needs a good clean. They had stains from food on them. My catfish & grits were good. I opted not to make them cheese grits. My friend enjoyed her food too. They add an automatic 18% gratuity. You check out digitally so you don't get to see your itemized purchase. I texted the receipt to myself & that's where I seen the charge. Would have been nice to be told about the 18% or if it was written on the table or something. Either way the food was good. It wasn't crowded for a weekday but I don't think I'd pay $30 again for what I got. Catfish grits, toast & water.
Visited on a late Friday morning for a quick bite before going to the spa. It was just me so I opted to sit at the bar. My server, the bartender, Anisah, came to me and explained how things worked, no Google pay, no apple pay, and no AMEX. I could scan the QR code for the menu and she asked my drink order. I ordered a water and mimosa while I reviewed the menu. She brought my mimosa then my water and I was ready to order food. I ordered fried green tomatoes as my appetizer then I ordered the veggie omelet and grits. I was surprised at how long it took for my food, or at least app, to come out given that it was a Friday morning and it didn't look too crowded. I was excited when my fried green tomatoes finally arrived because I was hungry lol. The tomatoes had a good flavor and crunch, but I would've preferred the batter to have been a little thinner as to not overpower the tomato. My omelet and grits arrived and I was already impressed with the omelet looking like the veggies were actually mixed with the eggs vs just being folded like a quesadilla. It could've used a little more seasoning but overall I was impressed. The grits were creamy and was a nice pairing with the omelet. I ordered another mimosa and got the check. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and was satisfied with the service.

Firstly, the presentation of all the dishes came out pretty and fun. We loved all the details and flowers that were presented. I got the lobster avocado toast and was my favorite dish out all the ones I had with my family. The lobster was cooked to perfection and the flavors were all delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. We were also enticed to try the special that they had going on that day which was the whole snapper. Bad choice. The fish wasn't what we expected, flavor and texture wise. We have high standards with seafood and should have known better. Also, it's unwise to order any fish special at any restaurant unless upscale as the fish is normally about to go bad and they will add that "special" price. I removed another star because the bright orange velvet seats were pretty dirty. At least in our booth. The color will never hide any stains so it's like you're sitting on the food people enjoyed before you. Pretty gross feeling but hopefully that was just our experience and not the entire restaurant. This seems like a popular birthday celebration spot so if you don't want any interruptions I would go during the week.
This afternoon I had the pleasure of dining at The Breakfast Bar and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional! Our server, Michael, truly made the evening unforgettable with his stellar service. His upbeat personality, enthusiasm and extensive knowledge about the menu were impressive, and his recommendations were simply ON POINT! We all felt like Micheal was another family member. He has a way to draw you in and relate to his customers. For my entree of choice, indulged in the Sizzling Steak Skillet, which was amazing (Michael's recommendation) I loved that every meal was served piping hot just the way I love it! For my drink of choice, I elected the espresso martini topped with whip cream, and it was DEEEEEEELISH! We also tried the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer, and oh my! They were absolutely appetizing. The batter was seasoned to perfection! Overall, the service was phenomenal, loved the mixed genre of tunes playing in the background, and I can't wait to return! I know we only rate 5 stars, but I give this establishment a 10 out of 10! Shouts out to Michael and Team, THANK YOU!!!
Came into the Breakfast Bar for an early breakfast on New Year's Day and it was a great experience. My wife made us reservation a few days before and we were seated immediately when we arrived. The host and waiters were extremely friendly and checked in on us continuously throughout our meal. Our waiter David was quick on his feet with recommendations and were patient with us when we took forever to make up our minds! As for the food, we ordered the chicken and waffle entree with the hot honey flavored tenders and the strawberry cheese cake pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon. Everything was delicious and the presentation was A1. There were a number of things on the menu we wanted to try, but because it was an our time we decided to play it say. So we definitely plan on coming back to try other things on the menu. If you're looking for a spot thats spacious, nice ambiance, dope playlist, and great food - this is the place.
My last review of the year...and it's a great one! I came to the breakfast bar to celebrate my friend's milestone birthday. We had a 90 minute limit because the place is so busy. The food was fantastic and the service was top tier! The presentation the flavor...everything was on point I give it 10 stars and I can't wait to come back for great vibes and great food!
The Breakfast Bar in Duluth is a nice trendy spot to grab a bite with friends. The restaurant is located in Duluth Village off of Peachtree Industrial Blvd. The interior appeals to the foodie trendsetters and the location offers plenty of interior and exterior seating. My husband and I visited during the week for breakfast and the location was still super busy. The staff was great, and willing to offer options since it was our first time. The food was super tasty. We each ordered a meal and shared an appetizer which was extremely flavorful!

Even though we had to wait a little because I reserved a booth but they were all taken but they made it work. Very crowded on a Sunday (as expected) so I already had plans to order to go. I ordered the strawberry shortcake waffles on a stick & side order of fried wings. Took almost an hour for my food to come out & when it did, they just brought it to me in the container with no bag, utensils, napkins or sauces. I will say the food was amazing, had great flavor & the girl at the bar with natural short curly hair who took my order was very sweet & attentive. I wouldn't go back because it seemed a bit too chaotic inside & the prices were way too high (paid $6 for a bottle of still water).
This restaurant is right next to our hotel & we always come here for breakfast during our Long Beach Grand Prix weekend. You need to get here before 9am or you will be waiting for a table! Food is so yummy, service is attentive, fast & awesome and the decor is beach vibes! Cant wait till next year!
I wouldn't drive out here again from Atlanta, they have drinks for show that are nice to look at, they plate the food in a desirable way but the food is just okay. I had a reservation but had to wait 25 minutes to be seated which I wasn't a fan of then it was another 10ish minutes until we were able to talk to the waitress, she was nice and apologetic it was busy in there. We also received the appetizer before we received our drinks. The food was just okay I had the strawberry waffles, they didn't have any flavor to them. The fried green tomatoes were actually good and the catfish and grits were okay. I don't know where or why every plate comes with these purple flowers on them but I hope they aren't reused.

Had such a great brunch experience at The Breakfast Bar in Duluth! Met up with friends for a relaxing brunch and the entire vibe was perfect from the moment we walked in. The decor is bright, airy and modern without feeling overdone it makes the space feel welcoming and easy to sit back and enjoy good conversation for hours. One thing I really appreciated as a vegan was that they actually had a few vegan options instead of just a side salad or fruit plate. It's always refreshing finding a brunch spot that puts thought into accommodating different lifestyles without sacrificing flavor. The food, atmosphere and energy all came together for a really enjoyable outing with friends. read more

10/10 worth the wait and price. Came here for the first time for Mother's Day weekend and I had a great time . This place did not disappoint and pass the vibe check. The server Anthony i believe his name was awesome and very helpful I'm sorry if it's not Anthony but he was tall skinny and Jamaican. Very entertaining and helpful when it came to helping us with being a first timer . The was a 10/10 an so where the drinks me and my friend had drinks from the Mother's Day menu which mine was called the " big mama " and hers called the motherland which were both good 8/10. We had the seafood dip for our appetizer which was creamy and full of shrimp 10/10. Moved on to the jerk lamb chops very tender and very saucy 9/10. Our sides consisted of collard greens, sweet potatoes and mash potatoes. 6/10. The show stopper was the lobster Mac and cheese the fried lobster tail was seasoned to perfection. I would definitely recommend it. Over all experience 9/10. read more

Came here based off their glowing Google reviews rating of 4.8 stars but have to say their yelp rating is a bit more accurate. The atmosphere didn't seem all that welcoming and after looking at their menu we are kind of glad we passed. Their prices do not seem reasonable at all. Came on a Sunday late morning to enjoy a brunch and were asked if we had a reservation. We said we didn't and while there were several tables empty, she said the tables might be needed for a reservation. We weren't really feeling the vibe of this restaurant and probably will not return. We ended up saving about $50 for a party of 3 by eating at Maple Street Biscuit a few minutes away instead, of which we enjoyed immensely. It's a 2 star for the Breakfast Bar for me. read more

The space is nice and clean. The music was engaging at a comfortable volume. Staff are pleasant. I enjoyed my food with the exception of the Plain French Toast. Not sure of one of the spices used to prepare the French Toast, but it was overpowering. I appreciate the outdoor seating that allows for flexibility of seating choice. read more

We decided to try The Breakfast Bar for a friend's birthday brunch. Since several of us were traveling from out of state, we made sure to make our reservation weeks in advance. A couple of us arrived about 30 minutes early, but since our whole party wasn't there we had to wait to be seated, which was fine. Unfortunately, once our whole party was there (10 minutes ahead of our reservation time), we had to wait 40 minutes from our reservation time to be seated because they'd seated a party of 3 at the only table big enough to accommodate our 7 person group. We were frustrated, BUT! They made up for it with amazing service and food. I ordered the Blackened Salmon with greens and macaroni and cheese. I didn't like the greens because they were sweet, but they switched them out for mashed potatoes without issue. My friend had the spinach and mashed potatoes with hers. It was delicious as well. Not pictured: since I couldn't choose just one entree, I had two. I had chicken and waffles, too. I was impressed with how fresh and hot the chicken was. We also shared the seafood dip and it was delicious. I shared Shrimp and Grits with my friend and was impressed by how perfectly salted and creamy the grits were. The space was clean, well lit and played good music. It wasn't too loud so we were able to enjoy conversing and catching up. Our server, Ray, was great. He kept up with all of our different needs and questions. We all agreed that we will definitely be back. read more
We took our kids Sunday morning to try because I've seen it show up on social media. The entire staff was lovely and welcoming. The decor is so cute with a bunch of fun backdrops for pictures to be taken. The music was really good too! We ordered A LOT and everything was so good! The food and service were amazing! I ordered the chicken and waffles -- it was a little sweeter than I expected, but still very good overall. The mango lemonade was outstanding, and the fruit was fresh and delicious. Neicey provided excellent service and made the experience even better. I would definitely come back! read more
This was my first trip to The Breakfast Bar. Unfortunately, I don't know if I would take another trip back here. My issue came with the food and overall restaurant "principles". Although the food was very good and seasoned well, everything was way overpriced. They charged $5 for a sweet tea and no refills were included (all drinks). The drink sizes were also way smaller than the restaurant standard. $12 for fried green tomatos and you only get 3 tomato slices? Too many additional rules on their website and this pricing that doesn't make sense to enjoy your time here. If you are planning on coming on a weekend, make sure you have reservations. I was unaware they were needed so opted to sit at the bar and order food there. The service was nice and bartender was attentive. Parking was also very easy to locate and inside the restaurant was clean. read more

Breakfast bar is a great spot for some amazing brunch. They have tons of options to choose from which all taste amazing. The pancakes were packed with flavor and have tons of options for flavors. The pancakes seemed fresh and the eggs Benedict was also amazing. They also had plenty of options of other fun food and drink options to choose from and the service was pretty helpful in choosing. Theresa music was a bit loud to talk over if you go with a group of friends but still a great and fun atmosphere. read more
We visited on a Thursday morning at 11am. They're located in a strip mall with lots of parking including about a dozen EV charging stations. The interior was nicely decorated, bright and trendy with grass walls, gold Sputnik style chandeliers and large burnt orange velvet upholstered booths and chairs. The restaurant was nearly full when we arrived but luckily we were seated right away after being warmly greeted by the hostess. Our server Deuce was friendly and attentive with a welcoming smile. We ordered the fried green tomatoes ($15) to start. It came with 3 large slices that were breaded, fried and seasoned to perfection topped with feta cheese. I had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes ($16) They were sweet and delicious I just wish they had more whipped cheesecake topping. My husband had chicken and waffles ($18) which he enjoyed very much. We also had a side of bacon and eggs ($5 each) and a glass of pineapple juice ($5). The food arrived quickly all at the same time within about 10 minutes including the appetizer. We're excited to return and try other menu items. (Please note there's a standard 18% automatic gratuity added to every bill.) read more
First off I will say these drinks are strong and come with a nice kick!! The restaurant was beautiful and the decor was great, our server was great and gave many recommendations based on our group. I was very pleased with how delicious everything was. My daughter got the strawberry pancakes. It's super sweet for ME, but if you have a sweet tooth then this one would be good for you. EYE have a spicy tooth so these jerk lamb chops were right up my alley. Still some sweetness and a good amount of spice. As a Ghanaian woman that was just fine for me. My daughter really enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese. We went on a slow day so we got plenty of attention, but I think the service would still be attentive even in a busy day. Since it wasn't just, it wasn't that loud. There's ample parking out front and an accessible entrance for wheelchair. There is an indoor bar and the vibe is brunch loungey. read more

The food exceeded our expectations and there were so many places for a photo opportunities. The whole place was a vibe. Not too far from the Chick Fil A and in a busy shopping center, Breakfast Bar was a nice vibe for a Sunday brunch. Because it was so busy (with several birthdays), the kitchen for jammed up so it took a while for my date and I to get our food. Luckily we had some drinks to keep us satisfied as our hunger built. Reservations highly recommended, especially for weekend times. (We had a reservation and still had to wait upon arrival.) It wasn't the slightest bit sweet despite the chocolate and whipped cream added to it. Overall the restaurant is great though. We took the kids for brunch and this place did not disappoint. This is a gem located in Duluth in a shopping center strip. The service was top tier and the waitress was very well versed with the menu and helped us narrow down the best choice for us and the kids . They are pretty large portions so the kids were able to share. The price is also very affordable. It's super cute in there as well, great for cute pics with you and your girls or your boo. The food was well seasoned and the catfish was cooked to perfection . I really enjoyed the meal and ambiance and can't wait to get back there when we are in Duluth ! read more

I don't even know where to begin. This was a first time, hot mess, will not be returning experience. My mom picked this restaurant for brunch to celebrate her birthday with the family. When our party of 6 arrived at 12:53 pm we were told it would be a 1.5 hour wait. The family was okay with this wait (first mistake) as I would never wait over 30-45 mins for food. There's not much of a waiting area inside the restaurant so we stood outside to wait. As time went on I went inside to check on our status & I was told that they called my phone with no answer. I never received a call & again we were standing right outside the door the entire time and no one ever came out to call my name. There were two other parties there dealing with the same issue as us. There was a-lot of back & forth between myself and other customers with 2 different "managers", miscommunication between the two hostesses, a-lot of more waiting & offered free mimosas and mango lemonade for all the customers waiting. AND during all of this chaos one of the "managers" was seen sitting and mingling with their VIP table as I'm hearing the hostess tell another customer she can't guarantee what the wait time is because it's taking time to turn over the tables & they have managers working the kitchen line. At this point I was ready to go but my mom drove 45 minutes & got everyone together for her birthday so she was trying to stick it out through the chaos that was happening. After about 1 hour & 20 mins of this disorganization the hostess started going outside to call people's names and stopped accepting walk ins as the restaurant clearly couldn't handle their reservations and walk-in waitlist customers at the same time. I've eaten at many many many restaurants and I've never seen anything like this before. When we finally got seated we were given a heads up that the kitchen was backed up. I did warn my family to put something in their stomach before they came & I'm glad everyone listened. Our waiter was very friendly & attentive in checking in on us before we got our food & during the rest of our meal. Mostly everyone enjoyed their food besides the Lobster Mac & cheese which my sister said was too salty. My mom loved the aesthetic of the Red Velvet Waffle Tower that she was determined to have for her birthday but 3 of us tried the waffle and it was rubbery. The regular waffles that came with the chicken & waffles meal were really good though. The staff also does a birthday celebration song with a chocolate cake that my mom enjoyed as well. Although the food was good, the un-organization of this restaurant will not have me back anytime soon. The fried green tomatoes were delicious had nice thickness, the breading stayed on with every bite the sauce was a great addition. Unique provided excellent service. She was an A+. The ambiance was very inviting may have a wait but got right at bar. I enjoyed my experience. read more
Went in on a Sunday after reservation was at 4. We did have to wait a little while but it was understandable. We were sat at a table at first because no booths where available but we booked for a booth. Eventually (maybe 15 min) we were able to switch to a booth. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful. Family environment. The music was a very nice mix. The food was pretty good. We had seafood dip as the appetizer, seafood pasta & the strawberry waffle lollipops. The seafood paste was really good after it cooled down some. I think the flavors come in more and can taste it better when it cools down. The only thing was the bread was too hard. This is enough to share but the bread will be finished before the dip. The pasta was pretty good. Me personally would of liked the pasta a little less done.. just by a minute or 2. The waffle lollipops where ok. The "icing" used makes it a little soggy. The service was amazing. Shout out to my girl Jayla! She was personable, friendly, funny, and just all around delight to have as a server. The drinks were very good. Lol just small. And for the price I would like them to be a little bigger but hey they do what runs their business. read more
