The prices are reasonable compared to some places I've been to. The a/c doesn't work to good so you better get you ice cream in a cup because by the time I got 3/4 finished with my cone it was melted and running all over the place. Service was kind and pretty fast, ambiance is an icecream shop. It's like an old style diner pretty much and it's cute. The food was pretty good, fries a bit pricy for the serving size but that's no big deal as again it's an ice cream shop. The ice cream is very good with many options to choose from. They also have a decent amount of varieties on how it'll be served. Shake, malt, sundae, a couple different cones, bowls, and so forth. I recommend as a nice little spot for a nice occasion. This business had a lady in front scraping ice cream out without using any gloves. She was literally scooping up the ice cream and hair was inside the food. That is unacceptable for a company nowadays especially with COVID and other things. She didn't wash her hands since there wasn't any sink nearby for her to clean her hands. Also please note that this was the same person getting the checkout and holding credit cards for payment when there was someone else available to do it. read more

We ordered 2 1/2 pound burgers and there is NO WAY that they were 1/2 Pound. They were the size of McDonald's burger. Paid $7.99 each for some small burgers. I think someone is cutting corners to save money. A order of onion rings with about 5 onion rings and not even ranch to dip them in. The quality of food has definitely went down and that coupled with disgusting inside no way I'll be back. It doesn't cost much at all to clean a place. Fun place. Great service! Great food. This was a great place to take my whole family and not spend a fortune. We had patty melts (awesome) and a hot ham and cheese as well as some kids' meals. Absolutely horrible staff!! My daughter, my son, and I were super excited to eat and then get ice cream. When we walked in, we were never greeted. Okay. That's fine! I get it. We sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. We watched as three other families came in and were greeted as soon as they walked through the door. They were immediately handed menus and got drink and food. All three employees were behind the counter talking. I witnessed not one but two girls handle ice cream with no gloves and never saw them wash their hands! Absolutely disgusting!! At this point, it has been 30 minutes. My children were hungry and so was I. I got fed up and walked out. Not only did we walk out but a couple of guys that came in right after us (who were also never served or greeted) walked out right after we did. We went to Chilis instead. Better service. Better food. Absolutely disgusted at The Creamery and their employees who choose to serve who they want to. read more

Quaint. The hamburgers are super homemade and delicious. Melt in your mouth. Vanilla shake is classic. Big selection of ice cream to try.

They really don't get a star stood in line while some kids did samples and then a lady walked in with her two kids and one of the girls skip right over me and went straight to the lady and her kids and started letting them sample told her I was next she just looked at me as if I was speaking another language the finally got to me and tried to over charge me. read more

This is a local 50s diner. A blast from the past! And the food is great! Consider it a Five Guys with ice cream, shakes, "curly q" fries, and sweet potato fries! Also has great grilled-cheese sandwiches and of course burgers. It's a great place to eat before a movie at the nearby Tinseltown. Highly recommend. read more

Remembered eating lunch with my family here, and their chocolate shakes were amazing. Was looking forward to one while visiting. Now, though, it looks like this business is dying the same as the whole town seems to be doing. Shakes taste like milk and ice, barely a trace of the ice cream used to make them. My first visit. It was very friendly atmosphere and you can take the whole family. The food was good and I enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the ice cream of course. I have never had a pleasant experience in either the West Monroe nor Monroe The Creamery. Their food is very over priced, the service is always slow and very, very rude. Every time I go in there, the girls act like they have no idea what they are doing and the guys are just plain mean sometimes. I don't know if they think they are being funny or what, but I don't appreciate a guy being rude to me as I try to eat my meal. The food is mediocre, but not worth the price. I've also heard they take money from local charities they have collection buckets for. I haven't been in the store in a long time, and I plan to keep it that way. read more
