I appreciate the low-key nature of Waxbar, it's always a relatively cozy environment, the staff are friendly, and you can tell the regulars love it and will stay regulars for many years (if not decades) to come. I've sampled a lot of their drink menu in the past few years, but in the recent shift of ownership, I haven't tried as many adventurous cocktails.
