Went here for lunch since I was craving a chicken ceasar salad. I got the salad and loaded potato skins. It was a bit awkward upon seating due to seat yourself and it seemed like there was only one server on the floor. Granted they had just opened at noon but this lady was handling every customer in the building which was surprisingly a decent amount of people. The music kept going in and out but I didn't mind because I was on my phone anyways. The salad was huge and delicious and the potato skins were hot and crispy. I'm new in the area. it's my first time visiting on my way to the lake & decided to check it out. I got a small Greek salad & potato skins with no bacon. My partner got lemon rice soup and a chicken wrap. the ambiance was nice the restaurant was clean, I enjoyed it. the bartender was pleasant.The food took about a hour for a to go order. the bartender was too busy chatting to cash us out. the quality of the food was very poor!The lettuce was wilted, "Greek dressing" was Italian ! This place is very bare bones. It's a bar and it is a little dive-y. Its pretty cheap to eat here though and believe me you won't leave hungry. It's clearly very much a *regulars* type spot though. Our service was friendly enough but not as friendly as at some of the tables. I'm not bashing. It is what it is. My husband had chicken parmesan which was actually pretty good. It was very zesty sauce wise and the chicken made him happy. He is always pleased with pasta as a side. It came with choice of soup or salad and his chicken noodle was also a decent choice. The two big breadsticks though? Meh. He did a little bit better than I did. I liked my fish and chips, well the fish part mostly. The chips aka fries were just ok. The ketchup was in an odd plastic bottle with no top that just was ummm slightly disconcerting. It came with two additional side picks. My salad option was decently tasty but the bean soup was awful, kind of tomato soup with the odd bean. Nice to have three sides total if you are hungry or one is a clunker. For Belleville it is not too bad at all. We'd go back. The big salads look great as did the pizza. read more

Came here on a recommendation and wasn't bad at all. Was here on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't a lot of people in here. I came because of the chicken, and therefore chicken was on the brain here. Had the wing dings for starters and they were excellent and on point (must have when coming here). For my meal I had the broasted chicken (very good and juicy and chicken is fall off the bone, while good, I do think the wing dings are better here when it comes to chicken) and fries (excellent fries, more seasoned type and another must have). Was in town visiting my sons 4 a few days. And i asked the lady at the hotel a good spot to eat at. And she suggested JT'S!!!!! And she suggested the best restaurant ever in Belleville. I ordered the fried ribs, and i must say i don't care if i don't ever have to grill my ribs anymore. The ribs were very tender, flavorful, and juicy. And i was given so much food i couldn't finish my dinner. My husband ordered the JT'S pizza special even better. Such a large pizza with a little price. My new favorite spot that I'll be eating at when I'm visiting my son. Also the service was great! I believe our server named was Tamara I'm sorry I forgot her name. Had a great meal. Got the fisherman's platter. The shrimp were very nice. The catfish was great and the cod was good too. The coleslaw was fine. More of a vinegar base instead of mayo. Not swimming in dressing so I liked it pretty well. Had the mashed potatoes. Basic boxed instant potatoes. Try the fries or a baked. Skip the mashed potatoes. Drinks: the margarita was pretty meh. It was a full shaker glass, but it tasted like mediocre lemonade (ok, maybe lime-ade) and there was no tequila taste. It's a pretty divey place. Not real crowded in the early evening. Service was reliable and there was good enough Wifi so I could watch something on my cell phone. Plenty of TV's for sports on the walls. I would certainly go back. read more

I called in an order in my way home from work. Over $50 worth of food. I go to pick up my order only to get to the door and see a sign in it that read "cash only". Hopped back in my car and ran to an atm and came back. I walk in and all the patrons stare me down. And that's when I noticed I'm the only person of color in a establishment full of caucasians. I pay for my food and walk out and drive home. When I get home I've noticed that only two of the five items I ordered was in there. I called back the restaurant and told him who I was told him what I was missing and she said to me oh yeah we forgot your other bag. So I get back in my car and go back up there and pick up my order, no apologies or anything. When we finally open up everything it is the most disgusting excuse for food that I've ever seen. The only thing that was edible were the fries and some of the pizza. The chicken wings and the chicken tenders were disgusting. The pictures speak for themselves. Surprisingly good local casual bar. There is a fairly diverse menu for a locals bar (from familiar choices such as pizzas and sandwiches to catfish, broasted chicken and polish options). There is a solid variety of beer choices (craft anf otherwise). They have had live music in the past and they have two pool tables also. I went to JT's to see a local band play (Machine Gun Kelly), and thought I'd try some dinner while I was there. This is a mostly local's, very out of the way bar. Not quite divey, but close. It was actually pretty clean and the people were nice. The staff were especially friendly & helpful. I ordered the catfish with veggies & baked potato. The catfish came as two rather large filets, with a perfect cornmeal crust. The fish was cooked perfectly, was fresh & flaky, and tasted wonderful! This is some prime catfish here! The beans (veggie) were OK, and the potato was cooked correctly and tasted good. All in all, a pretty great night with wonderful food and some awesome jazz/blues. Went here on Tuesday, one day after they opened. The inside of the bar is very nice and open. Wait staff very friendly. Plenty of TVs to watch a game(s). I had the BBQ burger and the wife tried a pizza. Burger was good, pizza was excellent, very homemade and tasty. They do not have there liquor license yet, as our great state of Michigan is dragging but on it. But once they do get it, they will be getting some made in Michigan micro brews on draft, so looking forward to that. Will be back for sure. We stopped in for dinner tonight. Wendy was our server. Wendy was not prepared for the evening. She did not know the bars selection of draft beers on available, and said she had not had time to write them down. She did not know the vegetable of the day either and had to go look at the board. My husband ordered a 16oz ribeye with soup and veggie. I ordered the 10 oz ribeye with a baked potato with cheese, and soup. Our daughter ordered a cup of soup and a side salad with lettuce, cheese, cucumbers, and specifically told Wendy yes to cucumbers but no to croutons. Wendy came out to tell me the kitchen was out of 10 oz ribeye and would the 14 oz be ok with me. I said yes. Our three cups of clam chowder came out promptly and the soup was hot. The soup was very thick and tasty like flour. There were no crackers provided. Wendy came back out to say that there was only one ribeye left and what would I like instead. I ordered a $9.34 1/2 pound Angus mushroom and Swiss burger instead. Our daughter's salad came out with lettuce, cheese, and croutons, but no cucumbers. My husbands ribeye came out with a plain baked potato, that he did not order. My burger came out with fries, not the baked potato with cheese I ordered. Wendy said the kitchen must have mixed up the tickets. My burger was so over cooked and dry, it was completely tasteless. If I am going to spend $9.34 on a burger, I would expect it to at least not be dry as sand. I would have assumed after all of these issues Wendy would have sent a manager over to apologize for the errors. No one came over to acknowledge any mistakes or apologize for the mistakes. In my experience (10 years) as a server, I know that it is totally inappropriate to blame the kitchen when you, as the server were Ill prepared. It should not matter if the kitchen made a mistake with the tickets, it is your responsibility to check the plates before serving the plates to the customers. Additionally, it is the servers responsibility to make sure that the customer is not charged for items they did not receive. We were charged for cheese on a baked potato that never arrived. We paid $45.68 for an unsatisfying and disappointing meal. read more

Came in on a Sunday at 9pm and were greeted by all the employees and a couple of their buddies belly-ed up to the bar shooting the shit and appearing irritated we were interrupting their private party. We ordered 2 beers and grabbed a keno slip and at 9:09pm were told it was last call. Are you fucking kidding me? They close at 10 and clearly these little assholes weren't planning to put in 50 minutes of cleaning. What a shit show I'm not sure who owns this place but he must be a multi-millionaire because they clearly don't give a shit about paying wages for 5 people, allowing them to drink up all his booze on the clock and shut down his business a hour early when paying customers are seated. Maybe I should apply for a job here before they board it back up and hang the for sale sign for the umpteenth time. I've been looking for a job where I can drink and get paid by the hour all my life, who knew it was right down the street from my house. Okay - I have only been there once - so I will give it a 3 for now. But, this has potential to be more. I'm excited to have another place in Belleville to frequent. This side of the town / area of Van Buren Township needs a business as well. The interior appears freshly remodeled. I wouldn't say it is overly exciting - but it is a bar. It has a very open format which is good for this type of setting. They have a small stage for live bands (it appears). The food was very good. When we walked in - they had special posted and there were items that are more than just the greasy bar mix. Example - soups of the day (among others). We tried an assortment to get a feel for things. Burger - observed to be large and my mother n law stated it was very good (which is a feat - as she is picky and complains a lot). Fish Sandwich - one of the better I have had in a restaurant recently. This was not some frozen fish from a bag. It was fresh and flaky. Nachos - a nice starter and tasty. The salsa might be homemade as it was fresh and unique. They must have their liquor license now (I see previous post) because the bar was operational. I had just gotten back in town on a flight into Metro and a drink was certainly in order. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable. I have a hunch this place will do well. As a bar - if you can nail the food - that is a good start. I would like to see what a Friday or Saturday night atmosphere is like. That is the only thing really holding back my rating. But, having been in there in the afternoon it was already fairly busy. I wish this place the best. read more

This place was basically a shit show. I will start with the positives though. The waitress Jenny was outstanding and a sweetheart. The food was excellent and the beer selection was great. Now for the negatives. The waitress that was flashing her beasts, drinking, and giving lap dances on the dance floor was pathetic. The DJ that was there was way too loud and didn't belong anyway. This place has no identity. Also, there were people having sex in the bathroom. One last thing. Now, I took advantage of this because you clearly don't know how to actually sell craft beer. You don't sell a beer that is over 10% and pretty rare in a 16 or 24 ounce glass and for dirt cheap. You are easily losing profits and also being irresponsible. read more

Pizza is one of a kind and a must try. Their small pizza is the size of most places mediums. The dough is hand tossed and all the toppings are fresh. There are many varieties of flavored crusts too. Prices are moderate. I recommend going on a weekend or for lunch during the week. The bartender Lexi is outstanding and great at her job. For those who care... Lexi is very attractive too -=grin=-. JT's has a large variety of food on their menu and it is all a step up from your typical fry daddy bar food. It is likely the best place in Belleville for food and drinks. We went to this nice establishment twice now and both times were on a Friday evening. The food is wonderful, this time we ordered the special, half slab of ribs for just less than $10.00 with sides included. They were fall off the bone tender and we both said they are better than Bone-Heads ribs in Willis. It takes some to beat Bone-Heads! The reason for giving a 4 star rating instead of a 5 is due to the jukebox blaring so loud that we could not wait to leave. We may have stayed and had more drinks but it was just too loud. read more
