    Pulled Pork Sandwich
    Jim M.

We ate here while on vacation in the Detroit Area. I had the pulled pork sandwich platter. The potato fries were excellent and would definitely return for those. The pulled pork was way to grissely for my liking. Someone in the kitchen made a mistake here. My wife had the beef tips and was very pleased with her selection.

Naked dry rubbed Lemon pepper and buffalo wings a little overcooked but still were very tasty

Bought a new car salesman gives us a free appetizer card so I enjoyed the wings deep fried naked so I did Buffalo and lemon pepper they were very good slightly overcooked but were definitely very good. We also shared the ham bacon pineapple deep dish was the best one I have had anywhere. The decor is smartly decorated and live band on Friday and Saturday night. We were there Saturday night great band with covers but also nice they were not blaring the sound very middle of the road we will be back to try other menu items. Waitress was very good as well.

I just bought a home up the road from here, so I had to check it out. This place is very cool! It's an homage to the boating life and Rosie the riveter! Very cool , authentic boating paraphernalia. The service is fab and the menu is very eclectic. I got 3 delicious vodka based cocktails: Belleville breeze, lavender lemonade and the crowstache. They were all great! For dinner, I had the any strip with mashed potatoes and Mac'. I'll definitely be hanging out here!

I was super sad when Rusted Crow downtown disappeared because it was nice having another distillery downtown, but I was out this way to meet some high school friends and we decided this would be the spot to meet. I'm not super familiar with Belleville but this was an absolutely area of town, and like the name suggests near a lake. They did a great job melding their steampunk/Victorian aesthetics with the local boating culture. Just absolutely quaint. The location itself is a full service restaurant along with distillery, the nice bonus is that they 8 taps with beers plus they carry other liquors. Honestly some of the best bourbon prices I've seen in a long time. Would honestly come back here in a heart beat.

I tried the Chicken Pesto - the balsamic was a perfect topper!

Food was amazing, and the Electric Edison was even better! Despite being in a strip mall type setting, the view of the river and unique decor made this an elevated experience. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations.

The food was great! Get the brussel sprout salad. Service was a little slow but they were very kind. Great venue

Where else can you see an inverted Ercoupe at the bar? Super cool motif and vibe. Quick lunch and went with a hangover burger. Not a disappointment with perfectly cooked bacon and fried egg. Interesting fries and a great dish all around. Kind servers and good people overall.

Rusted Crow on the lake is becoming a frequent visit for me. I crave the fish tacos nearly weekly-- they're so delicious!! The environment is welcoming and fun. Lots of details that make the space unique and inviting. The service is always very good too, with lots of attentive servers and food runners.

We popped in before happy hour, place was pretty slow. The atmosphere and ambiance were great. Loved all of the walls paintings, things to look at, strategically placed TV's, the special touches in the bathroom. The design that blends together water, drinks, crows, seemed a little all over the place but you could tell each part was specifically thought of. Drinks were good - sure wish they had a patio

It feels like it's been a minute since a restaurant has earned a 5 star review from me! Rusted Crow on the Lake was excellent! Service was a little slow, but we didn't care. We were not in a hurry and we were not at all rushed to get in and out like so many places. It's clean and roomy inside. I loved the nod to Rosie the Riveter on the plane in the bar, too. I had the PBJ burger - that's right, PBJ! Get this, it even had Brussels Sprouts ON the burger! I don't know what genius came up with this burger, but I tip my hat and raise a glass to them! This burger was fabulous! The burger itself was cooked to a perfect medium (I usually get med rare, but ordered medium just due to the nature of everything in the burger, I didn't want the added juiciness from med rare to ruin it.). It comes with Brussels Sprouts, peanut butter vinaigrette, Brie cheese, and fig jam - sounds weird, but it magically comes together and is a delectable party in the mouth. The only bad thing about this is that no other burger will ever taste as good! The fries are sliced thin and served crispy on the outside with a soft center (they even have malted vinegar on the table!) The Mac n cheese was pretty tasty - it's a nice blend of cheeses, perfectly cooked pasta, with bacon crumbles. The side of Brussels Sprouts, as quoted from a dining companion, "OMG! These are TO DIE FOR!" Another dining companion provided this review of the buffalo wings: Yum! Good sized, tasty sauce. Definitely an "I'd order these again meal!" Cannot wait to try some other menu items, we will definitely be back, and soon!! (Snagged a couple photos but forgot the side of sprouts and wings).

Pork nachos - bonus that they are wheat/grain chips

This is a MUST GO if you are in town. Food and drinks were all wonderful. Quick service. Get a fry. You will NOT regret it. (And homemade ranch) Happy hour 3-6 - try everything. Nachos with pork with queso on the bottom. Holy yum. Blackberry Bramble (I think what it's called) had a few. You need to as well. Super fresh and great tasting. Love they they use local ingredients/alcohol. Super cool ambience. Semi river views. Plenty of parking. All pays accepted. Clean spacious restrooms inside.

Greta location. Great decor. The staff was really nice. The craft cocktails list is super long and super yummy. Lots of great, unique drinks to choose from. I got the crowstache and it was so good. More cucumber flavor than blackberry but good. My aunt for the creamsicle one and it was amazing. All of them look and sound good. I got the pulled pork nachos with queso. I mean, I love nacho cheese, but if they have queso as an option why get nacho cheese. They were really good with really hearty tortilla chips. I would definitely go for less onions. They had both white and purple onion and it was alittle overkill. But overall good. The Mac n Cheese was delicious. I would totally get that for my meal next time. My husband got the Cuban and enjoyed it. The fries are unique and yummy. We will definitely be back.

Disappointing BBQ Experience We drove in from a few towns…read moreover, excited to try this spot because they're open late (until 11pm) and we were craving some solid BBQ. Unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing visit overall. We ordered the DQ Pulled Pork and Brisket, and both came out cold with no flavor. The corn bread was okay, and the collard greens were surprisingly spicy -- not bad, just unexpected. We originally wanted the trifecta but they had already run out of ribs. So we went for two orders of burnt ends, expecting that rich, crispy texture. Instead, they were soft, smushy, and cold -- more like baby food than BBQ. Not good at all. The only standout dish was the corn cream cheese side -- warm, flavorful, and probably the best part of the meal. Also worth mentioning: the bartender was great -- super cool and clearly passionate. The place itself has a chill, loungey vibe, but it doesn't really feel like a true BBQ joint. Final thoughts: Burnt ends: Cold, soft, no bark -- total miss Pulled pork & brisket: Cold, bland Collard greens: Spicy, but decent Corn cream cheese: Delicious Vibe: Cool, but not very BBQ-ish Service: Bartender was the highlight Wish we could've had the food to match the energy. Hopefully they can tighten things up, especially on the basics.

What I do love about Ann Arbor is that they balance out the drunk haunts of young adults with great restaurants and high end bars for the people looking for more than a pitcher of cheap beer. Rabbit Hole is one of those spots. Down the same little alley way as Circ Bar, this underground bar is tucked away, stone hallways and open up and lead to different openings that provide seating, a dance floor and an amazingly stocked bar. If you like bourbon you will love this spot. Our bartender was fantastic, absolutely worked with me on working out a drink. I know I took a pic of an espresso martini, but my drink was made perfect also. Another nice surprise was that it wasn't some crazy price on the drink (I mean any crazier than other places and quite cheaper than around my home), especially for Ann Arbor. Walking away from the bar is a dance floor, and surrounding it are booths in a separate rooms and tables on a level up from the dance floor. There are also two hallways that lead to more booths and tables in different areas of the bar. As you can imagine this is a huge place. We came on a Friday and it wasn't very busy, but school is out and the weather had just broke so not surprising. I really enjoyed my time and the company I was with, and I would definitely go back.

Nate and I stopped in on our most recent visit to Detroit and had a lovely experience. The space is tucked away but had a surprising amount of outdoor space--we were there in January but I'd love to come back in the summer. We were greeted right away and given a spot near the bar. The menu includes cocktails, lots of wine, and several tasty food options. It was quite busy inside, so it took a bit of time for our server to come over to us, but we weren't in a rush. They had ten cocktails on their list and I tried the bullet proof soul and Nate got the negroni alla perra. The ingredients list for some of the cocktails include things I've never heard of, but at a place like this, I just know it's going to be good. Our drinks were perfectly balanced and very tasty. We also ordered the mortadella sandwich to split--this was delicious. It was pretty messy, but worth it. It was perfectly toasted and full of mortadella.
