The staff members make you feel at ease, welcome you to any future events, and will speak to you about being part of a "Life Group". (A community outside of the church) From my experience, the messages that are put out during service are very meaningful. They challenge me everyday to apply it towards family, work, and my community. Sometimes we, as people, might feel a little intimidated to attend church services. "It's not the right fit for me", "that Pastor is sending the wrong message", or the all too common one...."All they want is MY money!!!" I can assure you that the staff/members of New Hope aren't into this. We're very friendly and genuinely care about how you're doing and feeling. If you're looking for a GREAT home, look no further. I challenge you to attend at least one Sunday service. Look up 2 Corinthians 5:7 and really think about what that means to you. New Hope Christian Church.... we're all in the same foxhole battling everything evil. Let's go through it, together, as Jesus wants us to do!

Unfortunately, every mass that followed was more and more disappointing mostly because English is not the priests first language and as a result he is extremely hard to understand. We have prayed about it and have decided to attend another church further from our home. The last mass we attended was the reason we finally decided to make the move. The sermon was delivered in Spanish and seeing as how my husband and I do not speak Spanish, it was very unfulfilling. The strange thing about it is the majority of the people in attendance were also non Spanish speaking and looked just as confused as we were. The church is beautiful but I believe the message is the more important part of the church going experience. I hope this helps.

The sermons are based on the Bible rather than some of the "motivational seminar" stuff that's out there. By that comment, don't think I mean they're boring. Far from it! These people simply seem to care about answering the tough questions from the Bible in our contemporary society without trying to disguise a conservative Christian world-view. People here range in age from birth to the elderly and, I dare say, there's something for everyone. It doesn't matter if you've been a Christian for 40 years or if you're still searching for answers to spiritual questions. You'll be welcomed at Waterbrook!

You could tell they were speaking to Christians who are deeper in their walk addressing heavier topics than basic salvation. Our children loved going to Waterbrook, in fact some Sunday's my son points toward the church saying he wants to go to that church. What caused us to look elsewhere was a technicality really. We had a hard time finding people in our stage of life to fellowship with. There was a college aged adult class, and a regular Sunday school class who was filled with mostly people our parents age. It may be that everyone who is in the 30-40 age range with kids must be in some leadership position and so we never saw them.

They are heavily involved in working with local schools to provide for the needs of the kids from lower income families; they've spearheaded a movement helping meet the needs of all the families with special needs kiddos in their community and those surrounding; and they are really heavily involved in providing for the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of kids in the foster system and have a camp every summer for those kids.
