We have eaten here a couple times while in town and the food and service have always been good. We ended up taking an uber here , After taking an Uber to a pizza place that said they were open till 2am then finding out they do carry out only after 10pm. We really wanted a sit down meal. We walked in sat down and scanned the QR code for the menu. Once a server came over she informed us the kitchen was closed. This was before 11pm and they are open till 2am. We were super frustrated and ask her where someone may still be serving food. She recommended Pizza Parlor. So our third uber of the night was to Pizza Parlor. Why are places open till after midnight but don't server food. Especially on a Saturday night? People will drink more if they have food to go with it especially if it's salty foods. read more

Lots of TVs like everyone has mentioned. Service is not the quickest, but our orders were right. The ahi tuna sandwich is amazing. The fish and chips were fine. The fried pickles were a lot bigger than I would have liked. I was thinking they would be pickle chips. The curly fries needed a little more seasoning. But it's a nice place to watch a game. This place is worth another review. My husband and I have been coming here for years before events at the United Center. We're always able to get a table, but it always seems busy somehow. The service is very friendly, food is elevated bar food and extremely tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced. This is a neighborhood staple and I hope it never goes away. Most recently we visited and got a bucket of beer, and my husband had a delicious cheeseburger, and I had a BLT that I've been thinking about ever since. Even the coleslaw was great. This is pretty much a standard sports bar. They have a large selection of beer and pub food. The best thing about this bar is that they have a FREE shuttle to the United Center for basketball and hockey game and most of the big concerts. We just stopped in for drinks so I'm not sure how the food is, but drinks were nice! I had a goose island beer and my friend had a watermelon margarita. They brought me a glass for my bottled beer which was a nice touch. We were able to walk in and sit down right away. The bar was full but there were plenty of booths and tables open. I like this place a lot! The CrossRoads Bar & Grill is a sports bar one mile due east of the United Center. As such, it is a great option before or after any event you happen to attend there. On March 10th my wife and I were at the United Center to watch Purdue defeat Rutgers in the quarterfinals of the Big 10 Mens' Basketball Tournament. It was an intense game and we worked up an appetite. Afterwards, we decided to stop in here to celebrate the victory, and catch some of the Michigan State/Ohio State quarterfinal. When you walk, in the first thing you notice: there are plenty of tvs to view any & all sporting events. Towards the middle of the room there was a roaring fireplace which added some nice ambiance. We grabbed a booth towards the back of the room. Marissa waited on us and she was great. I started with a Bloody Mary and it was one of the best I've had! For lunch I had three sliders: Pulled Pork, Fried Chicken, and Carved Turkey. All three were very good. My wife ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich. For her side she was weighing several options but leaning towards the Sweet Corn Tots. Marissa tipped the scales by stating the Sweet Corn Tots are her personal favorite. My wife's sandwich was delicious. It comes with Swiss cheese, which she felt was a unique twist that took it to another level. The Sweet Corn Tots are a house specialty and were a great recommendation. Thanks Marissa! Its a bit loud because there's multiple tvs. My mom and I stopped in between hockey games to get dinner and the crowd was a bit loud. We got cheese curds and I got the chuckwagon burger. We were in Chicago for a quick day trip and were on our way walking to Lou Malnati's and decided to stop in to Crossroads for a beer first. We walked in and a lady said we could sit wherever we wanted. We found some seats at the bar and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally a guy named Eber according to the receipt, came over after looking at us several times and asked what we wanted. We each ordered a 312 local beer. He acted like we were inconveniencing him or something. It was annoying. We finished our beers and pushed the glasses forward and waited and waited. It was ridiculous how long it would take him. He finally came back over and asked if we wanted another and we so now and asked for the check. He ran our card, put the receipt down and walked away. Great customer service. Nice spot. Went on a Wednesday night, wasn't super busy and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. We sat on the patio. Decent selection of beer. For appetizer, we had fried pickles. They were bigger than most fried pickle chips I've had but I liked it! Made for a nice breading to pickle ratio. I then had the sliders, the prime rib one was so good, 10/10. Next time I would just get that as a sandwich. The pulled pork was fine, but could have been saucier in my opinion. Cheeseburger one was pretty decent. My partner got the fried chicken sandwich. Lots of Chicago pours and great selection of can/bottle drinks. Server was super friendly! ONLY reason 4/5 stars is because of the music. It was SO loud. This is my go-to place for work lunches. I visit this place at least once a week so I've pretty much gone though the menu by now. The place is your typical sports bar, but what make me come back is the food. They have a real good selection and its always made to order. Their beer rotations on tap are good also. Many times it's local beer like Revolution. So far my go to meal is their bacon wrapped jalapenos or their sliders, which pair nicely with and Allagash White. The hand cut fries are lightly tossed in Parmesan cheese and parsley to give them a very distinct flavor that will have you coming back for more. They aren't cheap with them either. You get a nice helping of fries. The wait staff is always on top of things and make sure that your meal is great. Check them out if your in the West Loop area. If your a BlackHawks fan, they have a shuttle to the United Center during their home games, so you can get quick drink and meal before heading out. read more

We chose the shrimp Diablo app, the mix & match 3 sliders app (prime rib, cheeseburger, & pulled pork), the broasted chicken, & buffalo wings w/a side of curly fries. It took a short amount of time to receive the food, but everything was fresh/hot. The shrimp Diablo app was good, it had alot of flavor, seems they could've let the shrimp cook longer though. It came with garlic bread, & this dish is enough for 2. I tried the cheeseburger slider which was also very good. Makes me wanna go back for a burger. The broasted chicken was bland to both my friend & I. Chicken was fried well, but it had no taste! The buffalo wings were just OK. We got the nonbreaded wings and they weren't anything to write home about. Curly fries were bomb! Service was pleasant. Nothing outstanding tho. We told him right away we would be there for a while and he wasn't trying to rush us while there. Walked in and they had blues music playing and we sat by the fire all night. Our waitress was not the friendliest person at all. She was super slow, showed no interest in really assisting us and appeared to wait and check on other tables outside of ours. I had to keep going to the bar for everything we needed and she still didnt pick up on the fact that she should come by and check on us. She appeared to be a little prejudice because all the other tables that she waited on none were african american but us. My coworkers and I head to Crossroads for lunch from time to time. The bartender who also runs the floor is great and during the lunch rush it seems like she has a lot on her plate. We came with 14 people and she brought us drinks right away and we ordered shortly after. I was extremely impressed and thankful that she agreed to do separate checks for 14 people with no hesitation. Especially during the busy lunch time. I order the Impossible burger. One of the bigger patties in the area compared to Kumas, Umami, and punchbowl. Only down side is that the lunch staff seems stretched thin and you better have a long lunch break with a large group. read more

The problem here is lack of consistency, in both food and service. One time, good food...good service. Another time so so food and bad service. I would rate them a 2 on one visit and a 4 on another.
