Crossroads is deserving of 4 stars, the food isn't something to write home about but it's great having a nice local live music venue to go to and they have awesome acts come. I enjoyed a 90s alt rock group, Pink Floyd tribute and zeppelin tribute here. Definitely reserve a table if you don't want to stand for hours when they have a really popular act. When it's busy, you might be stuffed like sardines in a tin can. However on a quieter night, more empty tables and breathing room. They also have 2 darts boards that are cute. I had a smoked old fashioned which was strong AF, a Shirley temple (yes my friends make fun of me for ordering a kid drink- but that's ok!), and a non alcoholic mojito which was also surprisingly decent. The chicken tenders come in a massive bowl (portion size is enough for two), as do the French fries (the bowl is practically trough sized, we barely made a dent in it). Server was friendly and on top of things all night.

Who doesn't know crossroads :) one of the finest places for live music and some good time . I remember coming to cross roads 6-7 years back for my sons piano recital :) and now he is grown up and he is going GIGs in cross roads . Love their ambience and live music ! They have a simple menu. Food here is good and not so expensive : they have full fledged bar with multiple IPA selections . Very good service and quick billing . Less veggie options but I tried cauliflower tempura and it tasted good . Lots of chicken options . Parking is good but can get cramped in peak times . Overall a very good time .

Gin Martini with three dashes of orange bitters, an orange twist and an olive. I think this is my new favorite Martini.

Nice spot for live music. The food was pretty good and affordable. The staff was also very accommodating. They do have a $10 cover charge if you're going to watch the bands play. I suggest that you make a reservation if you are going for the music. The place can get packed.

I've driven past Crossroads more times than I can count but finally went to go see a band during the summer. There's a small parking lot but you can find street parking. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were well made. The venue is small and was more of an intimate setting. I'm glad we got there early because the place was packed! I would come back to see another band perform.

Always have a great time here. Service has been consistently friendly and attentive. I have been here for Karaoke and to see live music. Last time I had the Strawberry Lemonade which was delicious but be careful of the moonshine! I absolutely loved the band this past weekend, The Midnight Callers!

A great venue for a live show with dinner. The small room books a variety of interesting acts. The drinks and food are adequate making the total experience of seeing a live performance in Garwood a treat. The staff is outstanding!

$16 general admission standing ticket to dueling pianos barely warranted as you buy drinks and food and request songs which end up playing for whole 30 seconds. My drinks were inexpensive but after 2 i was very much sober. When someone put "Trump 2024" sign on the stage I wanted to vomit so left immediately. Hard pass on any future garwood outings.

Rate this for yourself. 10 tiny shrimp for $12.95. Yelp wants me to write more but I think the photo speaks for itself.

A nice small place which is about the music. A split level which features a bar a couple of steps up. Dining room doubles as an audience area for live music. We were originally sat in line with the front door on a cold night but we were graciously moved on request. We ordered crawfish Mac and cheese and veggie spring rolls which we're served with a sweet dipping sauce. Both items were decent. Service was very good which adds a star. Prices were high ($15 old fashion and $10 pp cover charge for the band) which subtracts a star. I'm not sure if the cover is only for feature bands but if I ever go back I'll call ahead first. I get the cover due to covid restrictions but there are still places that don't charge. I must say they were very up front about the cover and the place is run well. Menu is full of Cajun choices so if music and Cajun are your bag, this place is for you.

Bourbon chicken (it's description says broccoli as a side), skimpy potatoes skins, and terrible looking chicken and andouille etouffee.

What a joke their take out is. I ordered via Grubhub these skimpy and completely unappetizing meals. My order also consisted of waffles fries, and a combo appetizer platter that were both canceled by the restaurant. Bourbon chicken that was suppose to come with broccoli has two florets. I was excited to try their Cajun food but unfortunately it's the last time I'm ordering from here.

It's been awhile since I've been here. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Crossroads added two large tents on their outside patio that are lit up at night with mini lights which gives it a nice ambiance. They have tables and chairs spaced out for social distancing.. All the servers wear a mask, and patrons are asked to wear a mask when using their indoor facilities. The vibe is upbeat and the staff does a really good job of accommodating everyone. There's music 7 nights a week, usually a solo or duo act. Every Mondays starting 8/17 there is Trivia at 9 PM with BK! Sign up's at 8:30! 1ST PLACE AND 2ND PRIZE WINNERS! Beer Pong Tournament Sign Up's at 10:30 PM! $200 PRIZE! Bring Your Own Mug Night Beer Specials $3, $4, $5 BEER SPECIALS, and $0.60 Wings. I must say they definitely make decent drinks. I tried their frozen margarita- Cuervo gold tequila, triple sec, sour mix, and OJ. I also tried my standard drink of Tito's and club with a fresh lemon it was made well. Crossroads also makes their own boozy push up pops for $5. ( 21 and older) You have several flavors to choose from.. I tried the vodka, cranberry mix . It was the best boozy push up pop I've ever had. They offer over 100 types of beers, from drafts, bottles, fruit, golden ale, hard seltzer, IPA's and American lagers.. They also serve wine and speciality cocktails. The food here is Cajun/ New Orleans Style with American classics thrown in. . I started with their Thai Spring Rolls which are vegetarian and served with a plum dipping sauce The spring rolls were deep fried and golden brown stuffed with a nice amount of veggies. The plum sauce really added a nice touch. I could've eaten a dozen of these. I asked my waitress for suggestions for my entree. Her recommendation was The Chicken Filet BLT sandwich served on brioche bun with golden deep fried Panko breaded chicken cutlet, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayo and it came with waffle fries. This sandwich was enormous! I had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. The chicken was so moist and tender, the bacon was nice and crispy. The the lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese just made it that much better. The waffle fries were delicious too. I only ate half and took the other half home. My friend ordered their Cajun Catfish dinner and it came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. You could also choose rice for a side. She thoroughly enjoyed her dinner and her drinks. It was nice to listen to music while I ate. There is a small parking lot for parking. If that gets full most people park 1/2 block up the street in the strip mall, or on the street. Crossroads does take reservations. This place is doing it right during the pandemic and made my dining experience a really enjoyable one. I will definitely be returning.

I saw Miki Yamanaka randomly for the 1st time. But apparently i missed writing a review. Maybe because there are many glowing reviews already. But may I put my 5 star review on the pile. This time we caught the 2pm Sunday open jam. We were smartly near the front of the line so we got my favorite spot, right on the bar rail near the stage. The drinks were good and strong, the service was quick and succinct. The jam was incredible. I didn't know all the guys but the guy on drums is a legend named muppet. He held back on his solos on the first 2 songs. On the third, when the baton was passed to him, he ripped off an impressive solo that would be amazing for anyone, and he is 93. We had to dip out to catch our flight, but cant wait to stop in again next time.

Still, this was enough to get a good feel of what the club is all about. Just standing in line we got to talk to a musician, who had just played at another location, but told us the people playing there that day were amazing, including the 91-year-old drummer "Muppet". We went during the day so no cover charge, but think they do at later hours. We got some spots at the bar, knowing we would not be able to stay long. From any seat you are able to enjoy the whole atmosphere and set. They had one server and one bartender, and I honestly thought at first they would be scrambling with all the drink orders but the way they worked, quickly and still being personable with each guest was impressive. The band playing was great, we stayed a bit more than we should have because of how good they were. Very intimate, chill way to spend time enjoying live music. The only reason I took one star off is the restroom situation. I went down hoping I could use the facilities but the mold smell and other strong smell made me sick and I had to run out. Just make sure you go before you are inside or hold it. Apart from that, very intimate, chill way to spend time enjoying live music.

The crab cake was delicious. The calamari was ok. Restaurant has a limited menu, but enough selection in the few menu choices. When it came to main entrees sadly, they were out of lobster ravioli and lobster mac & cheese. The beef Wellington was a bit dry and overcooked (not medium rare as ordered) and plain-looking as it was sitting alone on the large plate. Desserts were excellent. We had homemade Oreo cake with fresh whipped cream and a very delicious creamy cheesecake. Absolute a five star for desserts. Overall: 3.5. From the look of things, it has fallen into the strongest ownership and has a great chance of achieving longevity in this old river town neighborhood. If jazz is your sound, Rosetta's will fill that niche in your soul. From the moment I walked in and took a stool at the counter, the smooth jazz soundtrack kept me company. The presence of a full drum kit, electric keyboard and microphone stands in the front of the house by the entry door had me wondering if I would be lucky enough to audience a morning session. It wasn't to be, but it sure did set the mood for evening possibilities. My breakfast was simple. Sausage, fried egg and provolone cheese on rye sandwich, with side of home fries (onions & peppers added). The chef's skilled hands were visible from my seat, as was his laughing interaction with customers who called him out to acknowledge his presence. That was fun. The meal was good, but would have been exceptional had the sandwich been doubled up (2 of everything) and presented on an English muffin of Kaiser rather than sliced rye. The limited choice of white, wheat or rye for this creation missed the mark. Those taters on the other hand, were excellent and the java strong, fresh and tasty. PRO TIP - Add this big boy to the morning menu as a choice for those who appreciate what double meat, egg and cheese can do for the satisfaction of the hungry. Otherwise, it was all worthwhile.
