They use individual A/C units per room, but they don't leave the controllers for the customer to use. You'll have to ask the staff to come in and adjust it for you. It shouldn't be a big deal, but they don't get it to what you want. They'll either adjust it to be too cold or they shut it off, altogether. Could be a language barrier. It's BYOB and Food. We came prepared. The song selection is decent. They have a good mix of modern and old songs. Not enough Filipino music, though. The sound system is still good, but the controller to input the songs can be tricky. Also, some song listed in their booklets may no longer exist in the system. We've experienced it quite a number of times. We still enjoyed our time there. And we are most likely to return, especially since we don't know any other karaoke joints in my area.

We ordered the larger room thinking more people would show but it ended up being 8 of us. The man that worked there wanted to only give us an hour but one of the girls talked to him to extend it to 2. The room was so cold and we asked if they could turn on the heat and he said "no heat." So we had to freeze until we moved around a bit. The catalog was kind of small in their book but we were able to still make due with what they had. It was an ok time that I had.

We did not order at their menu this time, but they allow bringing your own food and beverages which is nice when hosting a party. We were a party of 7 and can easily fit 15-20 people. Parking space is quite small, so be mindful of that on weekends. Other than that, the hostess is really nice and I look forward to coming back and trying things on their menu.

On our walk to the restaurant I thought I was going to, we stopped inside Songbird to "find out party information". I was led back to the large back room which was dark and quiet. It was opened for me, the lights were turned on and about 40 of family members and friends that I love yelled SURPRISE!!! Amongst our group of 13 people, we all had issues connecting to the WiFi and the tv. I convinced the front desk to give us an iPad to manage the music and that also wasn't working. I called the guys to the room multiple times to troubleshoot and it still wasn't working. We fought with the technology throughout the whole 3 hour reservation which really made it difficult to enjoy the experience. During the times it was working, the app was glitchy and we had difficulties seeing the queue and skipping over songs. Also, one of the microphones was barely working. Additionally, before booking I inquired amongst a number of places to compare prices. We picked this place because we were told that there would be an assigned server to our room to allow us to enjoy the open bar experience and not have to step out to the bar to get drinks. Upon arriving, I was told that wasn't the case, even though it was in my email. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to come serve to our room but there were still times I had to leave the room and chase them down. I have done karaoke many times and this was a very stressful experience.

There's also a large parking lot out front, so parking was easy and convenient. The rooms themselves were decent, but the karaoke setup definitely felt outdated and was harder to use than expected. There were two ways to select songs: using the Korean karaoke system or a Samsung tablet connected to YouTube. We ended up using YouTube, but the system was frustrating to navigate. The tablet had a thick film over the screen that made clicking difficult, and searching songs had to be extremely specific for karaoke vibes (for example, typing "Love Story KTV" instead of just the song name). It was also inconvenient trying to queue songs while someone else was singing because you had to minimize the current video to search the next one, making it hard for the person singing to follow the lyrics. On top of that, every time we tried adding songs to the queue, it would accidentally click into another video and cut off the current song mid performance. A lot of time was wasted just trying to search and add songs. It would be better if they allowed Bluetooth connection to personal devices instead, so adding songs would be more efficient, just a thought...

We found out this place with a name who brought me memories from my childhood 'kucaramakara'. This is a playground game that children play in my hometown so that is why I got excited about this new place. DJ was playing all that kind of latin music: from salsa to bachata, merengue, dembow and of course regueton! The place wasn't that busy and they have karaoke seven nights at week. Servers were really nice and even though they don't have a big selection of cocktails they do offer many kinds of beers. They don't take debit or credit cars but there is an ATM inside the place.
