What a cool place!!!! Went to see a comedy special being filmed there! Great ambience/vibe!

Our friends invited us to a comedy show held at The Crow and we were so surprised this place existed! We would have never known about this artsy area on the other side (south) of the metro exit off Bergamot. They had 2 separate areas with 2 shows going on simultaneously. They sell snacks and drinks including beer/wine. The setup is like a restaurant with a small stage - walking by I first thought it was a restaurant, maybe it used to be?!? I believe they have comedy classes there as well. Everyone who worked there were super inviting and we had a good time. read more

We stumbled upon this little hidden gem by accident on our way to Birdie G's. We ended up at the crow and it was comedy night and it was kind of ironic because earlier when we were looking for Birdie G's we met this guy on a Harley who was here for the comedy show and I'm like there's a comedy show here? So, boom we ended up at the Crow we found out. They still had tickets available so we bought tickets and couple of beers and there you go... The comics were hysterical. Of course they picked on my guy. He wouldn't stop raising his hand so that's his problem... But it was a really cool vibe... artsy in the art district of Santa Monica LBGTQ plus friendly and you know selling all like beers that are aligned with the same core values as myself making sure that everybody's inclusive it was great. One of my new fave biz to support. Attended a couple of shows for the first time this year & love supporting it! A lot of free parking, 2 eateries in the lot, and the comedy here is great. I have been to 3 shows and am looking fwd to my 4th. They have a bar. Tix prices are pretty reasonable. I wish I had come here soooooooner. They are doing awesome things here for comedy, the community, and local biz. read more

I had the honor of attending an event at The Crow last night for my friend Elissa Kalver's book launch (btw go pre-order it - We Got This, to read about how she learned to thrive with terminal cancer). Through Elissa I'd heard of Nicole's non-profit, Storyectomy, which helps people cope with their cancer experience - be they a survivor, a thriver, or a caregiver. As part of the night we heard from several "graduates" of Storyectomy, and what a powerful event! Through them I heard traces of my own experience; cancer is awful and I hate that it's this nebulous horrible thing that connects so many of us, but it's great knowing there are communities out there to help us cope and adapt. While I wasn't there for a typical event, I think this venue is fantastic, and dare I say it the founder is even more so. Thank you for giving people a place to share their voice. read more

I love this place! So fun! There are amazing programs for little kids, teens and adults!

I loved this place the people are welcoming. They seem to have always somebody good on the lineup and when I say good, I mean actually funny. Real easy place that whole area down there is cool get dinner come to a comedy show good vibes. I'm not sure if they serve alcohol. I don't drink, but they got these cookies there that are awesome. Took a friend to The Crow 3/26/26. Great line-up, funny show - really interesting comics from all over the country. I've seen several shows at The Crow and never been disappointed. I've seen many Main +Sunday Co. shows at The Groundlings and The Improv on Melrose over the years. I pick my Netflix specials carefully and have honed my sense of humor. Went to The Crow on Sunday afternoon to see a staged reading of "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder. It was hard to tell who enjoyed the show more, the audience or the cast. The lady who created The Crow spoke before the show began. It's quite wonderful people create venues where people who have that very special talent of being able to entertain others can entertain others. The Crow is a small enough venue for the audience to actually be able see the actors. My younger brother is in show business. He lives in New York City and won a Tony a few years ago. He goes to shows almost every night. He would have noticed all sorts of marvelous things about this show I didn't notice because I am not in show business. read more

Fun location. Nice staff. Nice space. The night I attended the comedians were funny. It's not really a food venue: I think they have cookies for sale along with beer. Hopefully they'll get better chairs soon. Metal on concrete is loud in a performance space. The space feels new still. I hope it succeeds. read more

Not basing my review on the lineup because like someone said, some will be good, some will be bad. Overall the place is just okay. There's ambiance...I mean I wasn't expecting a comedy club but it felt more like being in an empty apartment living room sitting on uncomfortable chairs. Cannot get liquor there or anything to eat unless you go to one of the restaurants next door which is fine but the few things they had to drink there were overpriced for stuff that you could just get at 711. I'm a homebody but when I leave, I'm looking for an escape that I don't feel I can get at home and this just wasn't it. All that being said the people working there were friendly enough and there's a large parking lot with free parking. read more

A west side comedy club / event space thats so cute and classy it's a wonderful place to host a private event. I rented the crow for my husbands birthday and they were so accommodating and wonderful to work with--from arranging time for me to check things out to providing extra touches like the ability to use their projector, a/v setup and support and a staff member to make sure all our needs were met the night of the event. I got so many compliments from our guests about what a hidden gem of a venue it is. It's beautifully decorated, great location right off the ten freeway in Santa Monica and a huge free parking lot. It's also surrounded by art galleries which adds a bit of extra special atmosphere as you get to the club. I look forward to checking out one of their comedy shows soon. read more

I'm taking a standup comedy class and have been hitting different open mics around LA/Hollywood to demystify the experience and "find my voice" The Crow surpassed my expectations! The host at the boysdrool (women/non-binary mic) was attentive and funny, drawing a thread through people's sets. There were many talented people the night I went, and the group was incredibly supportive and respectful. Definitely a safe space, and a joyful way to spend an evening. The venue is quirky, artistic, well-ventilated. Signups fill up quickly, but I'll definitely be back, both for open mics and shows. What a treasure, especially on the west side! read more

Now for the comedy: the lineups are always great, and there's a variety, so you can keep coming to shows and always get something different. The open mics are friendly and not intimidating at all. He always looked forward to his weekly class....it was worth the horrendous traffic going home (only 7 miles away but takes 45 mins - navigating Santa Monica during rush hour is soul killing lol). I attended F'ed Talks to originally see Emerson Dameron of Medicated Minutes but, was won over by all of the talent on the bill. I honestly haven't laughed that hard in such a long time. The venue was cozy and inviting for my first experience. I won't lie the location isn't the easiest to find but go early and take your time. I'll definitely be back in the future. read more

We saw the Virgin Sacrifice show tonight and it was phenomenal! All of the comedians absolutely killed with their sets, and the venue itself was so comfortable.
