This is my favorite comedy venue in LA. Seeing a show at Largo is a must-do event when in Los Angeles. The shows here are so intimate because there is such a strong mutual admiration between the acts and the crowd so that the acts feel comfortable in workshopping new material. I have seen so many comedians new specials be performed in draft form at Largo, including Anthony Jeselnik, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Brett Goldstein to name a few. The special guests that sometimes come out are truly special, including Kevin Nealon, Kumail Nanjiani, Ali Wong, and my all-time fave Conan O'Brien. Make sure to buy your ticket online way in advance since most shows sell-out. Then come early to get your seating assignment (and don't lose that piece of paper!) and then hang out in the area until the show--I often go to the Largo bar or the Roger Room next door. Definitely come check out Largo!

We just went to see The Golden Girlz stage show and what a treat it was. If you grew up in the 80's and a fan of this classic TV show, this is a must to see! This awesome drag reenactment of this awesome show is hilarious. The whole audience was enthusiastic, jolly and sang along to the opening theme song. During the wardrobe changes they even played classic 80's commercials! Nostalgic. The actors were hilarious and even broke the 4th wall from time to time to acknowledge a faux pas, the audience acknowledgment or make a comment. So great. The venue is quaint with such an eclectic aesthetic. A great location with many eating options just walking distance away. A must-visit! You won't be disappointed.

Basically, you can spend about $50 ($35 and a non-ticketmaster venue service charge) to see a show from a Hollywood guy accompanied by their friends for a laugh. Typically, the friends are the wildcard since you may get an A lister that may be bigger than the host, an unknown who may be a future legacy, or neither but still have a good time. The venue's pretty intimate but at least you still have a good view even at the back. The place is pretty retro and it shows with its decor but it's well maintained. Also, I'm not sure what it's like for the ladies. But my guy PSA is that there's one bathroom and it's a urinal and a toilet setup. Drinks are standard fare and it's not uncommon for audience members to get a cup of water and coffee during shows. You can park at the nearby structure but it's not hard to get a free spot near the residentials.

    Nice theater

Went to see Patton Oswald and friends on a Sunday night in August. Got street parking, and only had to pay for an hour since meters stop at 8 on this street. There was also a valeted lot immediately next door for $20. We entered and got our will call tickets without issue- we were issued seats when we checked in with will call. The space is beautiful and comfortable. There's also not a bad seat in the house since it's so small. Really enjoyed ourselves!

Last night, I fell in love with Largo at the Coronet. I went for a Tig Notaro show who killed and she had a surprise opener - Ellen DeGeneres. I've seen all the top comedians and this lady is the GOAT. She had me in tears and she's soooo 'not nice' ~ jk. She was amazing!!!! I love the way the Largo operates so much, with so much organization and running on time, I went home and signed up for their email list. I'm a huge comedy fan and this is now a preferred location for me to see my funny people. They have their own parking garage which is $20 but you must be out within 20-30 minutes post show, so keep that in mind when parking. YOU NEED BE ON TIME HERE, and I love that. No phones, no late people, no cars in garage 30 minutes post show - a lot of rules but I like them all. This is such a small venue and it feels so intimate. I was in the front row last night and felt so hashtag blessed. It was like I was a part of the conversation. I'm Cali sober and they had ginger ale for $3, no sprite. You grab drinks (including alcohol) at a little side bar inside the main doors. The Largo has so much character with great decor, and that pulls through to the tiny bar at the venue, too. BEST NIGHT of 2024 FOR ME!!!!!

'How Did This Get Made?' (Hypnotic w/ Ben Affleck) - Jason Mantzoukas, June Diane Raphael, and Paul Scheer (left to right)

Fun little venue right by the Beverly Center that does a lot of comedy shows. I think they might do music shows too but I'm not too sure. I've only been here once. I came here to attend a live show of Paul Scheer's 'How Did This Get Made?' The movie for this show was Hypnotic with Ben Affleck haha. Such a great time and of course Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael, and Jason Mantzoukas were all so great. I've listened to the podcast for a while now - I love movies and watched a lot of bad ones, so I love the show. This was the first time I've actually got to go in and watch it in person. I guess my only gripe is that because the theater is pretty old the seating is pretty tight. I'm not a really large person, but I felt pretty cramped the entire time. I had to cross my arms the entire time and still felt like I was right up against the people on my left and right. Plus towards the end of the show (almost two hours) it was getting a little warm and stuffy in the room. The folks that were handing out my ticket at will call were super friendly. I'm not sure they serve food here but I know they have a bar. We left and got dinner and came back for the show so didn't partake in any of the food and beverages here.

Not bad view for near the back!

I can't believe I lived in LA for 3 years and never once made it to this theater. It's incredible. It has a neat retro-theater vibe. The theater is the perfect size for smaller, more intimate feeling shows. I think they said it fits about 150 people? Not bad. We were seating 4th from the last row and still felt close enough to the stage to enjoy the show. I like how the seats are first come first served so everyone pays the same price at first. It's nice how the box office opens an hour and a half before showtime so you can get your tickets and go off to eat dinner before the show. The main lobby is decorated with posters and antiques. The restrooms are limited but they do mention you can exit and return to the show at anytime using the back doors. We saw a recurring imrpov show: Ben Schwartz & Friends. It was my first time seeing a "long-form" improv so that was a neat experience. The actors interviewed a couple before the show and made an entire comedy sketch show on the spot based on the conversation with the couple. It was very well done. I am looking forward to the next show we see at this theater!

Very small (280 seat) venue. Pretty old and not fancy at all but I think it's one of the best places to see a show. Very intimate. They have a little room in front with a bar and small stage. They only serve beer and wine but plenty of places in the area to pregame. Parking is easy in the garage but it's valet only and takes time to get your car afterwards.

Ask the Community - Largo at the Coronet

The person who bought the tickets can no longer attend the show. Can I pick up the tickets from Will Call with a photo of his ID?

Probably not. If you have the tickets transferred to you on the app or use his app then you should be good. Give them a call

Can I wait inline for will call for my group and get their tickets for them (so they do not have to leave dinner and can show up when the show starts)?

I think if you email them prior to the show they may help you. When I went to the Sarah Millican show, I needed handicapped seating so I emailed my request and the staff was gracious to my needs. I do think the main policy is buying tickets at the… Read more

I know they have a no-phones policy. If my phone is off completely, and in my purse is that an issue?

No issue. They just ask that you silence your phone. You can definitely have it with you and even walk out to use it if needed.

Can I buy tickets in person for a show later this month? If so, are the box office hours?

I think it depends on the show. I saw Colin Hay there over the summer and I think there were still a few seats in the back available. If you’re coming from a far distance, I would call and see if there is availability.

Do they ever release extra tickets for the shows day of?

There are NO refunds, so that's doubtful.

    What's the attire typically?

I don't think there's a formal dress code. Just dress "nice" I would say. It's not black tie or anything close to it. Jeans are totally fine. Hope that helps!

I know they sell beer on site, can you bring this into the theater for the actual show?

I was there the last week of February 2022, and no drinks were allowed inside the theatre.

I can't get to theater before 7-7:30. Will our seats suck?

You'll probably be in the last few rows, but the entire venue is small, so it won't be terrible.

Where is a good place to eat close by? Once the ticket line opens how long does it take to get your tickets?

Hi there! We ate at a place across the street called Cattle & Claw and it's SO cute and SO yummy. Check them out here on Yelp. As for tickets, we went for a concert, and the process was somewhat quick once it began, and we had just enough time to… Read more

Is it a venue that we could bring teenagers to? We have two teenage boys who love comedy, just trying to figure if we could bring them.

Yes, however, be warned of strong language or adult content by the performers.

How is the parking situation; is there onsite parking?

There is a very small parking garage next door.

Does The Largo accommodate for a person wheelchair bound? Please let me know.

You definitely can get into the auditorium from the courtyard, because there are no steps. And I'm pretty sure you can, from there, access the bathroom if you go up to the top of the auditorium and then out to the lobby via that door. That's where… Read more

Are backpacks allowed here? I'll be coming from another event without a car so am curious.

I came in with a backpack. They didn't mind. It's older theater and the seating is a little tight. So my only concern would be that it may be uncomfortable if your backpack is larger and doesn't fit under or near your seat. But you should be fine if… Read more

A few nights ago, Joanna Wang held a concert here, the fourth stop of her North American tour. The show started right on the dot with no opening acts which was much appreciated. The first set ran through her latest album, "Hotel la Rut" which combined productions of strange, disturbing, moody unpredicability with moments of seemingly whimsical levity and repressed emotions. One after the other, it felt like listening to tracks of a musical. As is often stated comparing to the studio recordings, the live performances added charm and context to the machinations of her mind's inner workings. It helped that the sound quality here was remarkably vibrant, with the band going between genres seamlessly. Personally enjoyed "Pigeons on Your Balcony", "People Don't Eat Dinner by Themselves", and "Ragged Stairs to Heaven". Promptly afterwards, the second set contained a selection of past songs from her almost two decade long career, ranging from creative compositions to inventive covers. It was a full-on display of her vocal range and inspirations through the years. Some memorable ones included "Alice in Wonderland", "親密愛人", "Radio Killed the Radio Star", and "Simply Nothing You Can Do", with "Vincent" as her encore performance. It was a good time, as I found myself smiling at her showmanship going from soulful nostalgia to nutty, irrepressible energy. Here's hoping she performs around here more often.
